[ It's been wild, lately. The world has changed dramatically and try as she might, Elda Marker cannot deny that she has changed some along with it. It's probably this, as much as anything else, which saw her no longer content to have the normal small little private Thanksgiving she's tended to have with just her son.

... After all, family can grow, right?

She intended to invite Silver, knew she wanted to invite Albert, but then the significant others(?) of both of them have gotten roped in as well. She explained it all to Toushiro, who seemed confused at how Albert or Jaeger fits into anything but was privately pleased to have Silver around for this. Still...

Elda took it upon herself to make everything? Turkey, casseroles, Yorkshire Pudding, deviled eggs, cream corn. She's not sure what everyone wants but no one said that they had allergies and if she has to feed Silver's monsters a little too, then... well, this is good to have a bigger than they perhaps need amount. The whole thing takes most of the day (people are invited to show up whenever they want in the course of the day and sit around if they want) and she'll accept any help but... well, dinner itself will be the main event? Anyway, let's have a nice family. Event. ]

Well, I certainly wasn't thrilled to lose my natural eye color... Though I suppose it's not that different than before.

I do agree that it's pointless to throw a fit about it, however. All one can simply do is persevere and choose to restore whatever color they want on that adorable little survey thing that comes around from time to time. [ c: ]

There is nothing wrong with dancing fruits, sir. It gives them character, personality, and the ability to act in amateur films.

You need exactly none of those things in order to eat them. As a matter of a fact, it's preferred if those traits are absent altogether in edible things.

She'll show him!! It's essentially this discussion, but filmed. There are sound effects a la the screams of other oranges as they're juiced and so on and so forth.

...the narrator is Elizabeth, herself, naturally. The girl acting in the film has fluffy brown hair—she doesn't think anyone here would recognize Haru though. ]

It won't be winning any awards anytime soon, but it was quite fun to make.
