(Open) This is Halloween!

WHO: Jirou and YOU
WHERE: The floor that Jirou lives on
WHEN: Forward-dated to October 31st and going until sunrise of November 1st
WHAT: It's a Halloween Party!
WARNINGS: Should be nothing but if you feel something requires a warning please put it in the subject of your comment!

Upon arriving in the very nice apartment building, one will find a couple of what looks like secret service agents at one of the elevators. Tell them you're going to Jirou's party and they'll tell you what floor. Step inside the elevator and you'll find it decorated with bats and spooky lights. Just the sort of thing that is perfect for the event you're about to step into because Jirou has gone all out.

He's bought out the entire floor that he lives on and when you get off the elevator the entire hallway is decorated in spooky decor. If you step out of this elevator without a costume then you will be immediately shuffled off to one apartment by a pair of more secret service agent types (Jirou's dressed all the bodyguards this way) and told that you will be waiting here until you can be put into a costume. For those with a costume well it's time to enjoy the festivities!

Every apartment is clearly labeled for what it is. Food and drink. Spooky stories. Scary movies. Party games. Haunted house. It looks like Jirou has everything covered!

In party games, one can participate in all the usual activities. Bobbing for apples, a fun cake walk... Name a fun carnival activity and Jirou has something for it! So have fun and win prizes of fancy pastries and candies! There are plenty to go around so you can possibly win more than once if you really want to put the effort into it!

In the haunted house apartment, you will start in a well lit entryway where you will then be given a ghostly guide (someone dressed up in a ghost attire) and then taken through the apartment to the various scares. A kitchen where it seems that people are on the menu, a living room that seems to have two terrifying children staring at a static screen, bathrooms with what seems like bloody baths, coffins in the bedrooms. There are plenty of jump scares and if you feel that you can make it through this all the way you'll be rewarded with a fancy dessert dining experience. So do try to be brave.

In scary movies there are three movies going on at any given time. In the main area you can get popcorn and drinks then pick from gore, psychological, and random. There is always some movie going on so take your pick for which you'd like to partake in! Ritsu has done a great job in helping Jirou pick out the movies.

In spooky stories you can go to hear lots of terrifying ghost stories! The apartment is emptied out so you'll easily be able to grab some pillows from the helpful ghost at the door then go make yourself comfortable for a night of spooks. Or, if you feel really bold, try to scare friends and stranger with scary stories of your own!

Finally there is the apartment for food and drink. It comes with a full service bar that can provide you with anything but comes with a variety of Halloween themed drinks. Don't worry those of you not allowed alcohol because you have some fun drinks as well. Plus there are delicious snacks to pick from so everyone can be happy as they eat and socialize in this room.

So enjoy yourselves and have a great time because this party is going on all night. It won't be over until the sun starts to rise the next day!


[ooc: Hey guys! So feel free to comment around and let anyone know that they are welcome to come. You don't have to be a friend of or know Jirou to attend. There are only two main rules here. 1. You have to wear a costume. If you don't then you will be put into a costume by Jirou and Fai and they have full creative rights to it. So while you will look AMAZING you also may not end up in the costume you want. 2. No people who are underage will be allowed alcohol. So please if you have an underage character do not have anything like someone slipped them a drink or drunken mishaps or anything.

[If Minako is alarmed when Mafuyu starts punching without abandon, she doesn't get to show any of it before the ghost yanks her hood down. She lets out an angry bird-like squawk, staggering around for a second before yanking her hood back up]

Oh, for-- first you take my phone, now this?! Get back here!

[And off she goes, chasing the ghost deeper into the haunted house...]

[ She's been A B A N D O N E D

is the first thought that comes to Mafuyu's mind as she watches Minako take off, but in all honesty, she would have done the same thing in Minako's position: revenge first, whoever else after. She's got a bone to pick with the ghost too, so she's hot on Minako's heels, watching as the ghost streaks through the hallways facing backwards so it can blow the two of them a raspberry, and proceed to pass directly through the wall and disappear, not about to make it that easy for them to catch it. ]

[THAT'S NOT FAIR and Minako has to screech to a stop before she crashes headlong into the nice table and flower vase under the spot the ghost passed through. The hallway here branches off into two separate sections of the apartment from here, so clearly it's time to divide and conquer and punish with extreme prejudice.]

Mafuyu, you go left, I'll go right, yell if you see it, okay?

[buncho]

[ Life's not fair. Neither is Death, the ghost giggling to itself from somewhere up ahead that Mafuyu really wishes is the left because she wants to put her fist through its face properly this time. She disappears down the left path while leaving Minako to take the right: its a hallway decked out in spider webs, thick and fibrous and slightly sticky to the touch in that it will cling to Minako's ankles as she makes her way through the narrow space.

Will it be left?

Or right?

What about behind, an icy blast of air hitting the nape of Minako's neck from where the ghost pops down from the ceiling and blows hard at the back of her head. ]

[Minako screams bloody murder!!! And whirls around, instinctively whipping her arm out to try and backhand the ghost.]

Will you stop that?!

[In the meantime...Mafufyu, I'm sure you'd like another ghost reaching up through the floor below you, swiping at your ankles to trip you up, right?]

[buncho]

[ Ghosts are menaces and don't stop, taking advantage of their intangibility to laugh while Minako's hand goes through its face, and to slam ice cold against Mafuyu's ankles and send her sprawling. In the darkness, she thought maybe she'd just tripped over her own feet, because she also hears Minako yelling from the adjacent hallway and you know what? Fuck this haunted house; Mafuyu picks herself off the ground and drives her elbow through the wall separating their two halls right around where she last heard Minako's voice. Which is, unless Minako has moved, right at head level that she bursts through with an explosion of plaster and wood and whatever Halloween decoration that was hanging on the other side of the wall. ]

[She hadn't moved. Which means some of the debris from that explosion of plaster and wood and Halloween decoration hits her right in the face, as well as the dust that comes after it. Luckily she had her eyes closed, or else this would've been pretty bad...

Minako lets out a tiny cough, cracking open one eye just a sliver.]

...Mafuyu? I think they're gone now.

[buncho]

[ She doesn't answer right away, squinting through the dust as she searches for any sign of the ghost (also to keep the dust out of her eyes, that's the primary reason), not exactly trusting Minako when she says that the ghost is gone, because it was gone, once upon a time, only to pop up from behind them or below them or anywhere neither of them are watching. ]

You let your guard down too easily.

[ Despite refusing Minako's hand when she originally offered it, Mafuyu grabs hold of her wrist now to lead her through the rest of the haunted house. ]

Let's just get through this place as fast as we can. You keep an eye out behind, and I won't let you bump into anything.

[Minako makes a small noise of agreement, hearing but not really registering her words. Some part of her still shell shocked that Mafuyu just...did that. There are probably cameras all around the rooms, aren't there. The cameras recorded them and Jirou's going to find out and they're going to have to pay for damages and she's going to be in debt for the rest of her life...

Luckily, the ghosts don't come after them again, though Minako does see them peeking out from behind corners, as if plotting the next way they can wreak havoc. Soon enough, they're at the end of the maze, and the scent of something sweet is in the air.]

...we're in the dining room now?

...is that a dessert buffet?

[buncho]

[ Mafuyu had a talk with Jirou sometime in the evening and decided that he had enough money not to care and that she isn't particularly happy about his cushy financial situation, so she doesn't care about property damage as much as she does taking advantage of what the party had to offer. More food, apparently, desserts of every single kind imaginable that she drops Minako's wrist and Minako doesn't exist to her anymore because all there is in the world is eclairs and cream puffs and things with fancy French names she can't even pronounce but knows chocolate and raspberry and coconut shavings are all delicious things. ]

........I'm going to defend this sanctuary with my life. No ghost is going to get past me.

[She's not going to even argue with her. This is the most beautiful spread of dessert Minako has ever seen, and she's so glad she made Halloween her cheat day, she's going to taste one of each plate on this table.]

.....I call the chocolate strawberries.

[buncho]

[ Mafuyu shuffles backwards, keeping her eyes on the door, and swipes her hand around on the table behind her, trying to feel with her hands where she last saw the chocolate strawberries bc lmao nah she likes them too. But she's always very serious about not letting the ghosts in, so she has to keep watch even as she's knocking half the dessert aside in her blind search for something vaguely strawberry shaped. ]

[Well, if she's going to be like that...

Minako pounces forward to grab at the chocolate strawberries with a little "raaaah!" of determination. She! Wants! Chocolate strawberries!!!]
