WHAT: It's a Halloween Party!

Upon arriving in the very nice apartment building, one will find a couple of what looks like secret service agents at one of the elevators. Tell them you're going to Jirou's party and they'll tell you what floor. Step inside the elevator and you'll find it decorated with bats and spooky lights. Just the sort of thing that is perfect for the event you're about to step into because Jirou has gone all out.

He's bought out the entire floor that he lives on and when you get off the elevator the entire hallway is decorated in spooky decor. If you step out of this elevator without a costume then you will be immediately shuffled off to one apartment by a pair of more secret service agent types (Jirou's dressed all the bodyguards this way) and told that you will be waiting here until you can be put into a costume. For those with a costume well it's time to enjoy the festivities!

Every apartment is clearly labeled for what it is. Food and drink. Spooky stories. Scary movies. Party games. Haunted house. It looks like Jirou has everything covered!

In party games, one can participate in all the usual activities. Bobbing for apples, a fun cake walk... Name a fun carnival activity and Jirou has something for it! So have fun and win prizes of fancy pastries and candies! There are plenty to go around so you can possibly win more than once if you really want to put the effort into it!

In the haunted house apartment, you will start in a well lit entryway where you will then be given a ghostly guide (someone dressed up in a ghost attire) and then taken through the apartment to the various scares. A kitchen where it seems that people are on the menu, a living room that seems to have two terrifying children staring at a static screen, bathrooms with what seems like bloody baths, coffins in the bedrooms. There are plenty of jump scares and if you feel that you can make it through this all the way you'll be rewarded with a fancy dessert dining experience. So do try to be brave.

In scary movies there are three movies going on at any given time. In the main area you can get popcorn and drinks then pick from gore, psychological, and random. There is always some movie going on so take your pick for which you'd like to partake in! Ritsu has done a great job in helping Jirou pick out the movies.

In spooky stories you can go to hear lots of terrifying ghost stories! The apartment is emptied out so you'll easily be able to grab some pillows from the helpful ghost at the door then go make yourself comfortable for a night of spooks. Or, if you feel really bold, try to scare friends and stranger with scary stories of your own!

Finally there is the apartment for food and drink. It comes with a full service bar that can provide you with anything but comes with a variety of Halloween themed drinks. Don't worry those of you not allowed alcohol because you have some fun drinks as well. Plus there are delicious snacks to pick from so everyone can be happy as they eat and socialize in this room.

So enjoy yourselves and have a great time because this party is going on all night. It won't be over until the sun starts to rise the next day!


[ooc: Hey guys! So feel free to comment around and let anyone know that they are welcome to come. You don't have to be a friend of or know Jirou to attend. There are only two main rules here. 1. You have to wear a costume. If you don't then you will be put into a costume by Jirou and Fai and they have full creative rights to it. So while you will look AMAZING you also may not end up in the costume you want. 2. No people who are underage will be allowed alcohol. So please if you have an underage character do not have anything like someone slipped them a drink or drunken mishaps or anything.

Escaping from Japan after shorting some yakuza on a weapons deal... that really happened to you, didn't it?

So I guess that thing with you as a little kid was your dream?

[That's. Weird.]

But yeah. That happened. Though I shorted more than the yakuza. Probably something that happened before you were born honestly. Depends on how old you are.

[After what happened in the dream, because that was just the last incident in a series and his father had realized Kenta would always be in danger if he stayed there.]

After someone tried to kill you. I thought your family name seemed familiar to me.

[He sighs.]

Yeah, you were born after I left Japan. They wanted my guns and I found out they were going to use 'em to shoot up a building filled with kids to get to their enemies. So I sent them airsoft rifles and got out of Japan because I knew I was dead after they opened the crates.

We've been around for a while. Almost no one knows it here, though, which is why my parents chose this place.

[Kenta smiles a little as Iwai explains again what happened.]

I know. That's what you said in the dream.

[geckoman]

Hey. Was that little girl in your dream Jirou?

[Based on his interactions with the guy he's figured out that Jirou really doesn't care what gender you call him. It's pretty cool of him honestly if you were to ask Iwai.]

[Honestly, Jirou would probably be delighted if he heard that.]

Yes, that was Jirou. The way he was when we met. He's a year older than me, and even back then, if he decided he wanted to be a princess, his mom bought him a tiara.

[oh, hey, here are the sakura petals again. The blasted things just seem to poof into existence whenever he speaks of Jirou or looks at him or thinks of him tonight. It's getting to be slightly unnerving, so he does his best to just... ignore it.]

Damn. That's some really supportive parenting there.

[He's actually legit impressed by that. He's not sure how many parents would actually go that extra mile for their kid.]

Yes. I don't think Jirou's parents ever told him he couldn't do something he wanted to do.

[And that's why Jirou now has a college degree in Japanese history that can't get him a job and does drag and models as a hobby.]

He's the best friend Fai could ever hope to have so I'm glad they found each other... and also that Fai found you. He looks happy.

[He blinks at that last part about himself. It's not that he's not grateful, he just wasn't expecting the compliment.]

Thanks. He's been through a lot so I want him to be happy. He deserves that.

I haven't known him very long, and I don't know the whole story... but it's clear he didn't have an easy life, and Retrospec is making it even harder.

And he has this bad habit of trying to soldier through it and pushing people away before he thinks they're going to do it. But I'm sure you've noticed that.

[After all, you're still dating him right now and you came over right away when Fai took refuge here after some more of Restrospec's bullshit.]

Maybe he needed someone like you. Older than him and more grounded.

[Iwai actually snorts at the part about pushing people away. Not that he doesn't believe him because he does. He still remembers Fai trying to break up with him because he thought Iwai would leave him for losing an eye.]

Sometimes you think it's easier to push people away honestly. I get that about him. I still try to do it sometimes with people I don't know as well.

[He's trying with Fai though. He cares about the guy.]

Ya know, you're real different from the usual yakuza types. I think you'll be good for 'em.

[Kenta frowns at those words.]

I... don't know about that. I'm different because I've been away for them for so long. I'm not sure how some of them will take it when I get back.

[And that's the whole problems. He likes his life here and ideally, he wouldn't get back ever. but he knows it's not even an option. And then there's the whole matter of his relationship with Jirou. Not because he wants to hide it from his family or anything like that - although for sure his father won't take it well, but Kenta will fight him on this - but because he's not sure he has a right to ask Jirou to come with him when he's asked to go back.

Because Jirou will say yes, he knows it. And it's a dangerous life.]

I already know some of them see me as an outsider. My father is holding it all together for now. But there will be a fight when I go back.

So this is probably a stupid question given how you two are but does Jirou know about everything?

[He's...curious. He can't help it.]

[At least, given who Iwai is and where he comes from, the curiosity is understandable.]

He does. I told him about ten years ago.

[When they were still young teenagers, then.]

Besides, he can actually understand Japanese now so even if I wanted to hide it from him, I couldn't.

[These two guys really care about each other. One for Kenta to tell Jirou and two for Jirou to keep staying here despite knowing what he does.]

You found yourself a good one then.

[Because having someone who won't run away is amazing. He should know.]

[Kenta was scared to death Jirou would run away. But he didn't.]

I think it'd be more accurate to say he found me. He's the one who came to speak to the shy foreign kid on the playground first.

[geckoman]

[He snorts at that.]

Yeah. That seems like him. Point still stands though. You have a good guy with that one.

I do, yes. Not sure what I've done to deserve it, but I wouldn't give him up for the world.

[Although of course, if you asked Jirou he'd probably look at you like you had two heads because why wouldn't Kenta deserve it.]

Kid, you sound a helluva lot like me right now. That's pretty much how I feel about Fai honestly.

[Sure they were still working into a deeper relationship so they weren't anything like Jirou and Kenta but still... To know that Fai wants to be with a guy like him is amazing. It makes him not want to give him up. To keep him happy.]

I guess we do have quite a lot in common.

[Kenta closes his eyes and sighs.]

I should go back out before Jirou starts wondering where I am.

[Well, Jirou probably has an idea, and he knows how Kenta is uncomfortable in settings with so many unknown people, and yet Kenta is willing to go and subject himself to it.]

[geckoman]

[He snorts. He doubts that guy is wondering. From what he's seen the past week or so that guy just has a sixth sense when it comes to where Kenta is at all times. It's uncanny honestly.]

Last I heard his voice he was headed to the food and drink area.

[They started off rough but he likes the kid. So he'll help him out.]

Thanks. I'll find him, I'm sure.

[It's not like Jirou is ever discreet, really, but still he takes the information as he finally gets up to leave the darkened apartment and venture out again.]
