WHO: Sakura Tohsaka, YOU
WHERE: Recollé Park, the Leviathan's Claw
WHEN: 9.22.17
WHAT: Either Sakura's drawing your character as a fantasy trope or she's telling you ghost stories to sell wares. This girl's got shit to do.
WARNINGS: Maybe vague mentions of monster horror in her drawings/stories, but otherwise none!
I. Draw Me Like Your French Girls, Senpai
[There's only so long Sakura will allow herself to skimp out on drawing practice, so come Friday she heads out of her apartment early, art supplies carefully tucked underneath her arm in a pink tote bag. To her luck, she lives within walking distance of Recollé Park, and with the brisk morning air to clear her thoughts, she's in the proper mindset once she settles on the dew-dropped grass. For what exactly?
Well, that's where everyone else comes in. You might feel a pair of eyes on you, stranger, in the form of a young woman sneaking glances before her hand winds around her drawing pad. Though she'll do her best to avoid eye-contact, it's pretty obvious what she's doing. The real question is who is she drawing.
You?
Maaaaaybe.
For anyone bold or annoyed enough to demand an answer or steal a peek, they'll see Sakura's gotten creative with her people watching. She's not just drawing who she sees; between the gesture drawing and expression studies, she's traded normal outfits for a more fantastical flair, reimagining everyone as D&D characters. Perhaps she's decided you make a fine-looking Barbarian, Miss, or the person over yonder is looking particularly Rogue-ish today. And for the truly unfortunate among you -- Sakura did you just draw that poor dude getting eaten by the Kraken?
There sure are a lot of monsters in this sketchbook.]
II. I Wouldn't Turn Around If I Were You
[And after she inevitably loses her nerve and vows never to draw in public again--
It's work time! Specifically at the Leviathan's Claw, here to serve all your weird nicknack and supernatural needs. At first it seems no one's manning the front until you wander further in, and a smiling face pops up right behind you, esteemed customer.]
Ah, how may I be of service to you? Oh but please speak quietly -- [Voice in a whisper, she leans in with a hand half-covering her mouth. Her expression is dead serious.]
I haven't yet caught our Kuchisake-onna, and it's best you not see her without her mask on...
III. Wildcard
[What weirdness do you wanna see? I am here to make all dreams come true. Just PM me or leave a prompt, I will follow along.]

[ooc: For the first prompt, let me know if you prefer I RNG what Sakura draws your character as, or if you have a specific outfit you'd like seen!]

Well, it's not like traditional sketches. [She stares down at her art book thoughtfully.] More like a creative exercise.
[here comes that apologetic smile again] So it's not going to look exactly like you, if you're fine with that...
no subject
[He's so, so used to modeling. Worth having it as a job now tbh.]
Goro Akechi. It's a pleasure to work with you.
no subject
My name's Sakura Tohsaka.
[Slowly pulling her art pad back into a drawing position]
Um... let me draw a proper one of you first! Then I'll show you the other one, okay?
no subject
[Because, like, being able to doze in the grass is Ideal.]

[Otherwise known as "Take the decision out of my hands so no one has to be disappointed."]
no subject
I hope you don't mind if I take a nap then, Miss Tohsaka. Feel free to wake me when you're finished.
no subject
Okay. I'll be sure to.
[Enjoy that nap, friend. It'll be about twenty minutes before Sakura gently pats his shoulder, looking many shades pleased with herself.]
no subject
You seem rather pleased. Was it a fruitful endeavor? May I see this one?
no subject
[Congratulations, Goro, it's your lucky day! You've been assigned the role of
Uh
... Fuck it, you're a merman now. The artist in question decided to fly to the other side of the spectrum and give the pretty boy his dues. The pose is the same - with him reclined on his back - but that's a majestic tail gracefully resting upon a bed of rocks, coral, and seaweed.
Though apparently she wasn't so bold as to draw him without a shirt. The water is cold; that's her justification.]

my god
It's beautiful and everything he was missing out on when he was under the sea last month.]
Can I take a picture of it? It's wonderful, Miss Tohsaka, honestly. I've always wanted to be a merman!
[LIKE
HE WON'T ASK HER FOR IT, UNLESS SHE DOESN'T MIND, BUT DEFINITELY WANTS A PICTURE.]
no subject
O-of course...
[...]
I could give you a colored version later, if you prefer...?
[Giving him a 20 minute sketch just seems like terrible customer service.]
no subject
Would you really?
no subject
[An honest smile this time; she truly doesn't. It's flattering getting such positive reception, and the fact Goro is gung-ho about mermaids makes this 100% better]
It's good practice for me, and it won't take me long to clean up your sketch, either.
no subject
[Like, it's basically commission work at this point. Name your price.]
no subject
Oh jeez, though, this is the first time anyone's paid her for a commission. Sure, she's gotten offers before, but nervousness always kept her back. The only reason she offered to finish this one is because she drew him as an half-orc an hour ago.
But eventually, flattery wins the day. Sakura gives a low-ball price - like $20 dollars or such nonsense.]
I can have it to you by tomorrow?
no subject
Please. Would you mind terribly if I showed it off to my friends as well? I know someone who would probably be interested in your designs.
no subject
[Her eyes widen, curious and uncertain]
I mean, I don't mind, certainly. You can show it to whoever you want. [It'll be his picture, after all.]
Is your friend an artist?
no subject
[Elizabeth certainly has the dime to spend on it too.]
no subject
[And once Sakura realizes who it is, she might expire from excitement. A girl who likes horror as much as her? Yes please]
