A hero takes your hand
WHO: Sakura Kinomoto, OPEN
WHERE: The Confectionary Bakery, Mall, Library
WHEN: 20th September
WHAT: Sakura out at work or out and about shopping or working on homework at the library.
WARNINGS: None off of the top of my head.
Confectionary:
[Sakura looks up when the door opens, her hair shifting a little with the movement of her head as she smiles and welcomes the new arrival. She's at least sort of used to the uniform by now, and dressing up in general thanks to her best friend taking sewing classes and wanting a model of sorts to make sure her outfits fit and looks alright when worn. She stands at the counter, which is luckily low enough for her not to have trouble with, smiling with a wave before gesturing to the displays of cupcakes.]
Hello! Which flavor would you like today?
[Or, perhaps, if she sees the customer here often enough, she'll ask if they want their usual order. If she has noticed they seem to have a particular favourite.]
Mall:
At least I'm ready school wise. So there's just the groceries to get for tonight and anything for tomorrow. But I guess while I'm here I should look for a new jacket.....
[It's quiet. More some habit of talking to herself to not forget her errands or such. But that doesn't mean others might not overhear her while she is there to primarily figure some groceries, but also perhaps a couple of other things too. Sakura can be found around the aisles of the supermarket or perhaps in the clothing stores, eyeing a new top or coat or skirt, perhaps.]
Library:
[Sakura usually figures it easier to study if she stays at the library and isn't distracted by the cleaning or cooking until she's actually done her homework, if she comes by after school once she finishes classes. She might be sitting down with her textbooks and laptop trying to get through some of said homework this afternoon. She might be chewing at her pen or pencil, or perhaps someone notices her frowning and pouting at her notes or textbook as she tries to figure something out. She might just be distracted still wondering what her recent memory means. The contract.....that...er, talking stuffed toy? How can she be expected to keep up with school with weird things like that? If more of this might happen? She puts her head down at her arms, groaning into the fabric of the sleeves of her shirt.
Or maybe she is instead found a little after, having finished and then taken to wandering the shelves of books for something non school related to read in the evenings.]

[The fruit options were the sort of healthier options of sorts at least. Sakura gives a nod, reaching for the tongs to procure one of the mango cupcakes for the other.]
Um, did you want a container or something? Or were you going to eat it right away?

I figure there's no point in me making more waste.

[She places the sweet treat on the counter, giving the price of the single cupcake so the other knows how much to pay for it. The prices were also displayed on the wall, but giving the price helps Sakura memorize it and more quickly gives the customer the information to help them be served faster.]

[Sakura will pay whatever price; she always makes sure she's carrying enough to cover the small cost. Though given the afternoon rush hasn't hit the shop yet, she glances around for a spot to sit or even a free space of wall to lean on. Eating her cupcake inside is preferred to the heat of the summer.]
I can't wait for it to start cooling down... [The statement isn't really aimed at anyone in particular, though since she's still within talking distance of the other girl, turns and gives her a smile] I'm not good in the heat, and I swear even a cupcake melts in this weather.

[The one longer holiday where she doesn't actually get homework to do through the break, even. Still, of course she thinks like this and wants to make the most of it, knowing it won't last forever and she'll have to eventually work through the summer.
But she doesn't immediately shoo the other, letting Sakura remain inside if she chooses, given it's quieter for now anyway, so there's room.]

[It's easier to enjoy all the seasons when the threat of homework isn't looming over your head.]
What grade are you in, if you don't mind me asking?
no subject
[Which, middle school probably seems like forever ago for most that are finished with school and onto work or further study but even so. Sakura is younger, so she is somewhat more carefree still, even if she takes on some responsibilities to help out her brother.]
no subject
Aaaah... well make sure to enjoy it while you can. I hear the homework gets even worse once you're in college.

[He is older, already on his second year of university and all. She sees how much he studies whenever he isn't working. So of course she knows. Saw him getting through even high school with those classes. Good grades were important, if one wanted to go into further study and all. Sakura can't help but to wish to make the most of this level of homework at least. Where possible.]
