[While face to face interaction wasn't the most ideal (thought bubbles randomly appearing, various emojis coming with emotions) it was certainly better than information being tossed around Retrospec and his friends list itself, because having something about their previous conversation be tossed at the conversation piece by accident?

After ensuring Akira wouldn't be present at the café (this was already going to be something they went to anyway, he owes her for the monster filled finale of last month) Goro's already waiting at a table when Ann arrives, a sizable amount of cat decorated waffles split between two plates as well as two drinks; one's a fruit tea, and the other's actual hot tea. The latter is for him. It's the Purrl Grey. Her is... another cat pun I can't think of the moment, but it's berry delicious. Meow Mixed Berries. That's cute. He'll give her a small wave. Hi Ann. This shit looks decadent and sweet? And appropriate for breakfast to boot, suck it diet he has his days and this is a necessity.]

[ ann's a little late to arrive--not so much an early riser, this one--but when she shows up she's immediately greeted by the aroma of the waffles and the tea. and she's also excited for goro's impending details on his massive crush on akira.

We, ah, we actually met here. I saw him working in the cafe and came in, then kept returning because I thought he was cute... [This is embarrassing.] I ended up taking residence here quite often to do my school work and whatever cases my neighbors had for me, usually missing items or pets, though I've found out minor gangs and the like before. Nothing serious, just those sorts of people who are bad news when they hang out together.

[Goro rubs the side of his cup idly, staring down at it. There's small hearts beginning to populate the air around to him.]

Akira liked asking about the sorts of things I looked into, and I was happy to have someone to talk to about them. He'd give me mysterious letters asking for help looking into odds and ends later on in our... acquaintanceship, I suppose you can call it, since we weren't particularly friends until recently I guess, claiming they'd been delivered to the cafe since I spent so much time here. [A small smile.] In reality, they're just his own stories, but I enjoyed talking my ideas out with him and ultimately solving them. He's very sweet.

[ oh...akechi, this is so cute. she watches as hearts fill the air, grinning from ear to ear knowingly--he is in so deep, and ann listens with excitement and--that last part. that last part!! it's so cute!! akira made up mysteries for him to solve. she's so proud of you akira GOSH. ]

Most people aren't so lucky. So what's he like? I'd imagine he'd have to be someone rather spectacular to keep up with a girl like you.

Well...he's really nice, he's a cop and has a really dorky sense of humor. I guess we just clicked really well and started talking a lot?

He's also very good looking, judging from your thoughts. [Ha.] I think things that come from those kinds of beginnings are the best though, honestly. Someone you can just fall in with the moment you meet, talk to them like you've known them longer than five minutes...
