WHO: Alison & Vera
WHERE: Vera's apartment to start!
WHEN: Aug. 30th
WHAT: Alison promised to meet up with Vera when she was feeling better. A coffee date it is!
WARNINGS: None atm
[Alison's car is dinged in places now, though miraculously left (mostly) unharmed by all the hell that had broken loose over the past month.
Still. She is less unaffected. She drives carefully, and keeps her eyes open for the shadows of massive birds. Nervous without realizing it. She'd said she was going to meet up with Vera today though, and so she was, monsters or not. She's been in a state of low-key freaking out this entire month. Seeing one of her friends in person, and hopefully mostly unharmed would do a lot to alleviate that.
She pulls up to the apartment, realizes at the last second that she should've brought something. Flowers? A "condolences for your venture into a hellscape" card? She isn't really sure. It just seemed better than arriving empty handed.
Nothing to do about it now, though. She hesitates, then rings the doorbell.]

I'm so glad you're here. [And safe. And alive.]

...I'm glad you're alright. How are you holding up?

Sorry, I... just wanted to know you're really here. I've dealt with so many illusions that it's hard to know what's real.

Are you up to anything today? We can talk about what went on, or just grab coffee, if you're not ready for that yet.

[She even stretches to prove that she isn't hurting anymore, except for the painful grunt she feels from the twinge in her side.]
I'm... mostly better now.

Okay. We'll go hang out then. C'mon. I'll drive. [Said as she leads them to her now, slightly dented and scratched car.]

[She takes a moment to put on a hat and sunglasses before following Alison out the door.]
Oh god, Alison, I'm so sorry about your car. Was it the monsters?
