READY: START. Team Peter Pan roster: Albert Wesker, Dark Bakura, Goro Akechi, Karkat Vantas, Lord Light, Naoto Shirogane, Nobunaga Oda, Remilia Scarlet, Ritsu Sakuma, Shin Asuka, Shou Suzuki, Yoshiko Tsushima. The city's been under siege for what feels like hours. It's only on August 3rd that you learn it's been a matter of days. Monsters begin pulling Retrospec users through portals left and right, large gaping holes in reality that spit you out in any given location around the city. However, just as you think you're finally getting away, a large blue portal opens and you're snatched up. No amount of fighting and struggling will free you and soon the pressure is too great to ignore. Darkness fills your vision and the last thing you may remember is the sound of the open sea... This is the Team Peter Pan Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Then I'm assuming your disappearance will make waves, if we're gone for too long.

[ Regardless, they're now around the second deck. Getting closer to the bottom at least. ]

We should be close now, why don't we check some of these rooms to see if they have the manual for the generator?

Of that I have no doubt, I expect my family would turn heaven and earth upside down looking for me.

[ She tries to take the lead, just in case some unexpected obstacle pops up... ]

Let's start with the first on the left.

[truedetective]

Assuming it hasn't already been torn upside down in our absence. [Those monsters are a thing, you know.] I'll check the one on the right. [She says, grabbing the pen light she always carries out of her pocket.] As long as we remain within shouting range, it should be safe.

[impulsives]

Alright. [ With that, he's going to enter the room Émilie specified, and starts looking around.

Hm, seems like water damage is consistent, they must be nearing the bottom, then. Judging from the state of disarray this room is in, it might be even possible that this ship was abandoned in a hurry.

...We might be able to find something of use for our survival here, considering this seems like the living quarters for the crew.

[scarlet_devil]

[ Émi will go in right behind him, looking around herself, before going to look in the fridge for anything left behind that can be eaten. ]

Oh, by the way, once we get out of this, and I have a nice glass of red wine, I'll give you an autograph.

[truedetective]

[Naoto goes into the other room, shining her pen light around. Living quarters. Nothing is jumping out at her as immediately useful, unfortunately. There are bathrooms immediately adjacent to the quarters, and she looks in them, too.

She finds some toothbrushes and toothpaste, and some soap in the showers. She doesn't turn them on, though.] It seems to just be living supplies, from what I can tell. [She calls, continuing to explore.]

[impulsives]

[ While Émilie isn't looking, Shin did a quiet fist pump to himself before he continues looking around. Alright, there's some clean clothes. Not sure about the size but this'll work as a gauze in a pinch. Nice.

But yeah, from what Naoto has said, this seems to be a place people lived in. ]

Looks like we found the crew's quarter. Or at least, what's left of it.

[ Shin, of course, yells this as well. ]

We can get back here to pick up supplies when we're going back to meet up, at least.

[ He's going to start heading back to the hallway now, and moving to one of the other rooms too. Just in case. ]

[ In the end, Émilie simply ends up finding more of the same. She hoped there were more than just this...

At least they can keep clean? ]

Yes, well... we should grab some bags to use too. Now then, let's continue...

[truedetective]

No food that I can see, though. [Naoto wrinkles her nose at the thought.] That's... probably for the best. We have no idea how long this ship has been like this, but it's clearly been some time.

Anything perishable would have long since spoiled, I imagine. [She says, rejoining the other two in the corridor.]

Shall I go first? I have the pen light.

[impulsives]

[ To be totally honest Shin would have expected some MREs but then again this is a civilian cruise after all. Either ways, he's going to gesture towards Naoto for her to lead. ]

Alright. Lead away.

[ The next room they enter would just be a storage room, kind of dusty and suffering from water damage like all the other rooms in the ship as it is. ]

Hm...

[ Looks like Shin's just mulling about something here ]

We need to find some if were going to be here more than a few days. I do hope we can get out of this soon...

[ Well, Naoto better be careful... ]

[truedetective]

If there is any food, it'll likely be in a galley area, not crew quarters. [She thinks for a moment, continuing to browse.] This is a cruise ship, so I'd imagine the dining area would be on one of the upper floors, and the kitchen immediately nearby. [Shin's momentary thought catches her attention.] Do you see something interesting?

[impulsives]

[ There's just a bit of a silence as Shin tries to shake off this absurdly familiar feeling of this situation, as if a deja vu—

Shin gasped as he grabbed his head as static overcame his vision, overlapping his current position to an unfamiliar room, clean and sparsely lived. The only other thing he remembered is the humming of a machine as the vessel moved on his own.

The next second, he's back at the dank storage room, and he grabbed the thing that he was staring at moments ago. ]

Y-yeah. This thing. [ He's trying to play off as if he didn't just get a memory a few seconds ago. ]

Seems like a manual of sorts.

[scarlet_devil]

[ Émilie paused, her thoughts interrupted a little when Shin suddenly grabbed his head. ]

...Is something wrong?

[ Well. She's ready to go looking for kitchens and the like. ]

[truedetective]

[It's a little hard not to notice the way he gasps and grabs at his head, yes, and Naoto is already moving to try and support him when the fit seems to pass.

She looks at the book he's referring to.] Then let's take it. I'm no expert on cruise ship propulsion. We may need it to help us fix things.

...did you have one? A memory, I mean. [Because that reaction, she's seen it before.

She's done it before.]

[impulsives]

...Yeah. Just a memory of some ship I served in.

[ He's going to take it regardless, and nods at Naoto for her support. He's going to be alright, even if he's still a bit woozy from the memory. ]

Let's keep going, the engine room should be downstairs. Don't worry about me.

[scarlet_devil]

Hmm... Very well.

[ She's not had any sudden memories since talking to Carmen. ]

[truedetective]

All right. If you insist. [She's not going to push this, especially not when there's work to be doing. She pulls her pen light out, shining it down the hallway, to the stairs at the very end.] Let's proceed, then.

[impulsives]

...Yeah.

[ Either ways, they continue downward, where in they found the door that definitely said "ENGINE ROOM".

But ... Holy crud, the condition of this level is even worse than the others, considering you know, IT'S FLOODED. But seems like it's not that bad yet at least... ]

...Looks like we found our target over here. I'll check if the door's unlocked.

[ He's going to start moving forward, without even checking with the two. Because yeah this will go well right. ]

[scarlet_devil]

Is it safe to go- [ And until he nears fifteen feet away from the engine room door, it most certainly looks safe...

...Until several doors suddenly burst open and what looks like octopi tentacles spring forth and attempt to swat away any interlopers. ]

Merde! I assume that's the answer to that question!

[truedetective]

Get back! [Naoto says, as though they weren't already doing it. She's about to summon her newfound Persona, but...] They're not advancing on us... some sort of defensive measure? [She probably could use that new power of hers, but she's nowhere near confident in her ability to use it well yet.] Neither of you happen to be armed at the moment, I presume?

[impulsives]

[ While Shin's definitely heading back, one of the tentacles actually nicked him and almost. Almost slammed him into the wall, were it not for Shin actually jumping back the moment it touched his head. Great, of course the fucking door is guarded. There was no way this'd be an easy thing after all! ]

No, I sure as hell have no weapons with me at the moment. Shoulda taken Wesker's offer before I went down here.

[scarlet_devil]

All I have is phenomenal strength. I could pull some tentacles off but the rest would slap me silly.

[ It looks like they will have little choice but to fall back at this rate. ]

[truedetective]

[Naoto pauses. Should she...?

No.] I may be able to do something, but I'm not sure it will work. Furthermore, I'd rather not, uh, anger them if I'm wrong.

We should return here once we've met up with the others.
