A. introductions!

[ Yuuri starts by introducing himself to set the example and start breaking the ice. ]

Hello! My name is Yuuri Katsuki and I'll be your Zumba instructor from here on. I've been working here for almost a year now and while I normally teach jazz and contemporary dance, I thought Zumba could be a fun thing to try out. As for something I feel people should know about me...

[ He trails off briefly. Yuuri thought he had his class all planned out, but he absolutely didn't think about his own introduction in advance. ]

W-Well, obviously I love dancing, it's been my passion for as long as I remember. [ But that's... probably a bit too obvious to say, huh. ] Um... other than that, I love animals and I try to volunteer at the shelter whenever I have a chance. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to adopt a dog of my own, once I have enough free time to dedicate to it.

[ There's another slightly awkward pause here. ]

So, who wants to go next?

B. how we doin'?

[ Before the dancing starts, Yuuri explains that he'll mostly be using visual cues to signal every time there's a step change. This is because the music will probably be too loud and explaining things verbally would break the flow of the class. So in between songs, he'll take a couple of minutes to check how everyone's doing. ]

How do you feel? Was it easy to follow along? Remember it's okay to slow down or take a break if your body needs it. And more importantly, remember to stay hydrated and have fun! We're here to enjoy this!

C. after class

[ Yuuri will hang around until everyone has left, saying goodbye to people as they leave and generally just making himself available in case anybody has things they'd like to discuss more privately. ]

Thank you for coming, see you next Saturday! Have a good weekend!

D. choose your own adventure

[ Anything goes! ]
