WHO: Togusa & Koutarou.
WHERE: A ramen place.
WHEN: 02/04.
WHAT: Two friends chatting over ramen.
WARNINGS: None.

Founders day could be hectic, and pretty exciting too. After something like it, it's nice to go hang out with friends, and going to catch up with one you've been friends with for almost a decade now is even nicer, even when you keep in touch often and don't need to catch up all that much. It's simply very fun to meet his friends.

So being invited out to try out a new ramen place made Koutarou happy, and he might be a little early to arrive at the address Togusa had given him, but that was fine, he could draw while he waited outside...Or he would have drawn but since he thinks he won't have to wait very long, he elects to read some poetry from a book he bought recently instead. That way he won't be in his own world completely, and it won't be very hard to catch his attention.

Togusa doesn't keep Koutarou waiting for long. He usually keeps an oddly precise schedule when he calls for things: never late, but never early by much, either. There's a smile on his face that's been rather missing for the last few months, and he seems to be typing off one last message on his phone before putting it away as he approaches. His friend has his full attention.

"Koutarou," Togusa raises a hand to wave. "Ready for this? This place was a really lucky find."

You can't prove anything, Koutarou. Shhhh.

Togusa holds the door open for Koutarou, and inside, one of the reasons Togusa loves this place so much, he can just fall into his home language of Japanese. The hostess smiles and leads them to a pair of seats at the long bar, so they can watch the food as it's made.

Hitori off the clock has a much more relaxed side to him, and there's a tension that he's been holding in rolling off his shoulders after Founder's Day. The complementary tea arrives quickly, and Togusa wraps his hands around the cup. "How did you end up liking the festival, overall?"
