WHO: Silver and others WHERE: Everywhere WHEN: July WHAT: Log overflow! I thought I was going to end up using it for more and then I sucked so just log overflow. WARNINGS: Stupidity
[He'll figure it out after unsuccessfully trying to scramble away from Silver, yelping out again and
well, he's absolutely going to pull Silver's hair? He's gonna pull Silver's hair and try to knee him off, Goro Akechi is quickly learning to basics of wrastlin' and he feels like he's gonna lose anyway.]
[He's not giving his advantage away so easily, but Goro pulling his hair- which hurts like a bitch, but he'll deal- is a great invitation for him to do the same.
It's probably been more than three seconds by now.]
[He yelps, letting go of Silver's hair to try and get Silver's hands out of his, because you will never guess who has a tender head and looks halfway to crying, I'm so sorry.
... His tone is like, anything but cry-worthy though, he's annoyed.]
I-- I pride myself in being a fast learner, so I'm glad to hear that!
[Because he's weak and a wuss, because Silver looks down on him in this aspect, and Goro presses his lips tightly together, getting up and launching himself at the other's gut.]
[Down Silver goes in a hurry, and for a moment he's startled as he takes it in. But once he does he doesn't put up a struggle. He just gives Goro a cold stare.]
It's not so nice from the other side, is it?
[Goro's done nothing but look down at him from the moment they met, after all. He's just brutish, a delinquent, a troublemaker, lesser.]
Hit me like you mean it. If you're not going to give it your all, then leave.
[Goro fists Silver's shirt, a fiery look in his eyes, and then he exhales shakily, forcing his grip loose. Sits back on Silver's legs, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes with a shake of his head. Blows out his mouth.]
I don't want to, [even if the annoyance and anger's still there.] I'm not going to punch you, Silver, I'm just... I'm not that kind of person. Though I really wish I was sometimes.
[Violence isn't the way he wants to solve things. He's certain he can defend himself if needed, desperately or not, but-- it's not something he'd choose to involve himself in, not without good reason.]
[Of course that's not the type of person Goro is. It would be so much easier if it was.]
You fight with your words, not your fists.
[And as frustrating as it is, as much as Silver complains about it, there's a reason why Silver's refused to raise a hand against Goro. He made that mistake a while ago.]
[Not... all that proud, because people get called pushovers with that kind of label, but at least he's past the era of bullying. Well, except the good-natured bullying, or what he presumes is that.]
Thank you for indulging me despite that. [he doesn't even want to check to see if that's enough.] I was certain if anyone would, it'd be you.
[He heard everything else Goro said to him, but this sticks out as more important.]
Most people run when they get punched. People like to act tough, but they can't follow through once there's actually a threat.
[That's not always the case, of course; there are plenty of people that Silver's gotten into actual fistfights with. But a lot of the time, all it really took to shut someone up was one hit.]
[... This might be the nicest thing Silver has ever said to him? Maybe? Right now, anyway, and Goro blinks down at him.]
Oh. Um, thank you. My aunt always told me that there's no point in having something if you're not willing to stand by it, so I suppose that's rubbed off on me.
[Whether it's a dream, beliefs, friends... it's good advice, just not something he thought he absorbed.
-- He should probably get off Silver, he'll do that.]

Fighting you makes me feel like a bully.
[It's notable that Silver is incredibly off guard...]

You stick to your convictions, too.

Leaving so soon?
[He doesn't want to respond to that, so something more lighthearted will have to do.]

[He's okay with sitting next to him though.]

[He's learning all sorts of things about Goro today.]

[... Oh. He presses his lips together, cheeks turning red as he turns his face away.]
That's none of your business.
