come on Virginia, don't let 'em wait [ OPEN ]
WHO: Everybody who wants in! Primarily adults, but idk maybe some teenagers sneak in with fake IDs or something.
WHERE: BARS..... and also probably some clubs because Jack is Jack.
WHEN: Valentine's night.
WHAT: A Valentine's Day celebration for the grownups. Initiate bar crawl.
WARNINGS: None right now, will update if necessary.
[ The first bar everyone is told to meet up at is ready for them - Jack's already bought a few rounds of drinks for everyone, kindly soul that he is. It's middle-of-the-line, comfortable, neither upscale or ratty. It's a perfect place to start.
From then on, the bars get progressively and progressively shittier, or weirder. Jack's willing to go to a good number of them, so feel free to make up your own theme for open threads and just say they went there at some point! This is pretty much just a mingle/party log spread out over multiple locations, so use it however you want. ]

[Really, he isn't certain what he's doing here... Jack applied a little pressure, but he can't pretend it's from any desire of having his presence, specifically. He's in the 'more the merrier' territory and he knows it.]
[But he's trying, in any case, which is why he didn't just sneak off in-between bars earlier.]
Is there anything good in the jukebox?

[ It's teasing but when he mentions to Jukebox, her eyes glazing over. ]
Lots of bands that start with 'The' but nothing particularly — oh! Wait one moment! [ There's a squeal when she surrenders her quarter. In its stead, a song begins to play that makes her smile a bit. ] Not too bad of a selection, actually. Do you know this one?

[More likely he'll die from an accumulation of opportunistic diseases that pile in on him in a moment of weakness and utterly ravage him until his system collapses utterly[]
[He's not going to mention that.]
[Instead, when she starts the song, he cocks his head for a moment to listen. Not to see if he recognizes it, but just to appreciate it.] Not at all. What is it?
[It is way, way out of his usual choices, but that doesn't make it BAD.]

It's an old song from the 50's. Use to have some old records when I was younger from my parents. In the Still of the Night wasn't one of their favorites, but osmosis — it's played enough that I recognize it.
[ She shrugs. ]
Guess the place is keeping up with its theme well. Sugar highs and retro songs, I mean.

Between the music and the float I think this is my favorite place of the night so far. Not that I expect we'll stay here long.

I think we will. I'll strongarm them into staying. It's not as macho as you'd think a place like Jack would want to go, but — maybe he's the one obsessed with the sugar coma their signature drink will induce.
[ A pause. ]
I like it. It just seems fun without the cloud of depression most dingy bars have.

[If he were the sort, he doesn't add openly.]
