Minako
[So she was absently working on an update as she waited for the other to arrive.]

(There's also that familiar guilt about not using the extra time to look for her brother, but it's easy to set it aside after it pinches her.)
Minako arrives with a cute computer bag slung over her shoulders alongside her purse, and the first thing she does is set a knit octopus next to Eleanor's laptop.]
As a thank you present, for agreeing to help me. I wasn't sure if I should go with realistic or cute, but cute is my specialty, so...
no subject
It is completely adorable and you can't have it back. [She grinned a silly grin and set her new octopus on the edge of her laptop.] And cute is always better. Real octopus's are pretty weird looking.

[She flops down into her own seat and starts booting up her own laptop. While that happens, out comes a canvas bag full of little knit projects.]
Here, some other samples for my work! As inspiration or something, I guess.
no subject
[Eleanor pushed her laptop aside for the moment to rifle through all the knitting things.]
These are really good, Minako. [Eleanor smiled.] I don't think you'll have any trouble getting people to want them.

Jake and Togusa
[Eleanor spoke in a half-whisper as she and Jake stood in the lobby of the Recollé police station. Without pointing, she nodded towards the guard watching the desk.]
All you need to do is chat that guy up for a minute so I can slip inside and get to Togusa's desk. Easy, right?
[Time to play a prank on an authority figure...]

No problem. Anything particular topic for me to run with or just flapping my gums?
no subject
So... [That hadn't answered his question, had it?] Talk about whatever you think will keep a cop distracted for three minutes?
no subject
Roger that. [He salutes.] Good luck, comrade! [He will offer her a fistbump for luck before slipping off to do his duty.]

Vera
[Eleanor stood in the Towers, frowning to herself and readjusting her purse on her shoulder over and over. She was here to 'pick out a nice gift for Jim from hist registry' but she 1) Didn't want to get Jim a gift, 2) She certainly didn't approve of this marriage! and 3) If she had to do this, she didn't want to give him something nice!]
[Was the bingo card really worth this? With a huff she turned to give up, only to nearly walk smack into someone.]
Oh! Sorry, my bad.
no subject
Hey, you need to be more careful. I don't take kindly to being bowled over, you know.

I've seen you on retrospec, haven't I?

Yukiko
[She'd been tossing them around earlier, but now she was just calming waiting for her friend. In theory they were going to try a bit of a mock-spar, but Eleanor did have a new surprise under her belt...which was kind of necessary when going up against Yukiko's guardian angel thing.]
no subject
Sorry I'm late, Al was yapping at me when I didn't bring him so I had to give him a good scratching.
[Closing the fan with a -shick- sound, she grinned.]
Ready then?
no subject
[Eleanor tone was good-natured as she said this, looking amused at Yukiko's little fan-closing snap. Well, if they were being showy...]
[She gestured to the side with both hands and a handful of small objects...rocks, cans, etc...fluttered into the air to float in a circle above her head.]
...Whenever you are, I am.
no subject
[Blue flames wreath her hand, the by now familiar tarot card appears, and Yukiko's Persona bursts into being. It looks at Eleanor, bobs it's head, and sets that katana at the ready.]
Go.
[The Persona opens with a stream of fire, nothing that would do a ton of damage, just a beam not unlike sunlight. Pew pew]

Leo
Okay, so. [She turned to Leo and grinned.] Full disclosure? I can't really sing.
no subject
...And maybe Eleanor’s confession helped a little. ]
Full disclosure? Neither can I, [ he replied with a laugh. ] At least we’ll suck together. Do we need music for this or are we doing a capella?
no subject
[She hadn't entirely thought this through, really.]
Maybe we can just make it a...spoken word ode. Are those a thing?
no subject
[ He rubbed his hands together in anticipation. ]
Okay. So how should we start this? [ He’d never come up an ode before how do they work. ] Um… “Mrs. Janet, with the only blue eyes left on the planet…?”

Perfect. With the two of us it shouldn't even take too long.
[And she was hardly very tall.]

Alright, let's get to it. What else do you want to knock off your list?
Thank you.
Hmm...
[Pondering her unfinished boxes.]
Got any siblings?
np!
Nope, sorry-- Dave does though. Two. Roxy and Dirk.
