For Elizabeth (Coin Operated Ride)

[When Yukiko had gotten her card, she'd been a little weirded out by it at first, because some of the choices were pretty ridiculous. But others? Not so much. This one seemed pretty silly, all things considered! So she'd headed over toward the local mall and found the coin-operated children's rides. Inspecting them, she considered which one, and honestly deciding between the fire truck and the monster truck was a tough call.

Enough so that she enlisted the aid of a passerby that she recognized. Waving to her classmate, she calls out]

Liz! Hey, which one of these should I ride?

[Yep, no context provided.]

[ ... Well, she'll never tell anyone they're too old to ride something, that's definitely their choice—ahem. She was asked a question, and she will definitely give her opinion.

After she considers Yukiko, of course, and then both the rides. Which one would suit her best...? ]

The monster truck, I believe. [ Apparently that's the one that does. Don't ask what that means. Actually, come to think of it— ] Would you mind if I took the fire truck, in that case?

[ No... context needed, right? Sure. ]

Would I mind? No, not at all!

[She's just going to assume Elizabeth has that on her bingo card, because she's already climbing up onto the monster truck. As ridiculous as this is, honestly it's not the weirdest thing she's done lately.]

Do you need some coins? I brought extra, just in case.

[In case of what, Yukiko?]

[ Of being mugged? Of spending them on gum instead?

Because if Elizabeth had spare change it would definitely be that last one— ]

Yes, thank you. [ She'll climb in the fire truck and hold her hand out, money money. ] Were you afraid you'd lose them or something?

No...I just thought the machines might not work, or eat my coins, and then where would I be?

[She hands over 3 quarters and settles in, dropping a coin into the machine to get this party started. The truck rumbles to life beneath her, a fake motor beginning to purr.]

For Leo and/or Eleanor (Chocobo Races)

[Chocobo racing huh? That seemed like another easy thing. There was the track that did rentals and it seemed to be pretty packed today. Shouldn't be too hard to find an opponent, right?

Heading down, she waited by the gate for someone to come up, and no matter who it was, she stepped up with a challenging swagger (Totally faked of course)]

Hey, race me! I need to check this off my bingo card, and it'll be fun!

Wait, really? How many people got that one?

[ It was on his, anyway, so this worked out just fine! Despite the fact that he has exactly zero experience riding chocobos, but Leo figured it can’t be that hard. All you had to do was stay on, right? He could totally do that. ]

You are so on.

Yeah, I got that one too.

[She grins and whirls on one foot, heading towards the stables. She'd already made arrangements for the rental, so they got waved right on in.]

Pick the one you want most. I'll go second. Ah...Leo, right?

That’s me! And you’re, uh… Yukiko? [ is he remembering that right? ] I’ve seen you around school, right?

[ Whether or not that was true, he flashed her a grin before heading over to the chocobo that caught his eye. It certainly wasn’t the biggest bird in the stables, but it looked like it had plenty of energy to spare. A perfect match for one Leo Valdez! ]

I think this guy’s calling my name. You ready to race, dude?

[ All that got him was a loud wark right in the face, but he took that as a yes. ]

Alright! Let’s get saddled up!

For Eleanor (Royal Decree!)

[When Yukiko had seen the ridiculous middle square, she'd balked a little bit, but at the same time, it didn't seem too hard. All she had to do was ask her friends to help her with stuff, right? Just...do it as an order. Getting them to agree was something else entirely, but there was some work that needed doing around the new apartment and she could feasibly get this worked out without too much difficulty.

It helped that she and Eleanor had plans today to work on it all. And while Yukiko answering the door to the new place in a rather nice evening gown and a tiara might seem a little odd, is it really that strange?]

Okay. I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I need you to do something for me, El...

[Eleanor's eyes went a bit wide as the door opened and Yukiko was standing there looking like a princess. Because. What? What? It took her several seconds to process it all, just sort of deer-in-headlighting at her before she sucked in a breath.]

...Alright. [A beat.] As long as I don't have to wear a dress like that. Or a jester outfit. ...Or anything leather.

[Standing aside, she lets Eleanor in and shuts the door behind them.]

No, I just have to...order you around a little. For this bingo card thing. It said dress up like a princess and order around subjects for a day. And since we're working anyway, I thought it'd work out well?

Right. [Okay that was believable, which said a lot about their lives anymore. After a couple seconds Eleanor shrugged.]

Oh sure, why not.

[She moved further into the apartment, setting her bag down on the couch before turning back to Yukiko...and bowing.]

And what would you majesty wish me to do?

[As Fuuka was wandering down the grocery store, she was looking at the prices for fingernail polishes. While she was here mostly to get some food, a part of her wanted to be a little girly.

Although, now that she couldn't figure out which one to get, she was mostly thinking out loud to herself]

Should I get the orange or the yellow one...? [Especially now that she needed something new outside of the grey in her closet!]

[Well, it's a good thing Yukiko is there, isn't it. And the suggestions of orange and yellow both give her an idea. A way to deal with that stupid bingo card...]

Why not both? You could do a little art on your nails if you had more than one color.

Wouldn't it look tacky or clash? It is rather bright for me!

[But then again, when she was seeing nothing but grey? She might as well give it a shot right?]

I don't think so? Why not give it a try. Bright colors might suit you, you know.

[She'll pick up a couple of bottles herself, reds and yellows.]

We can make a night of it, if you want.

For Minako (Royal Decree)

[Minako is in her work uniform, having just come from a shift at the Confectionary. The outfit is known for being frilly and extra, Minako is pretty sure that she's the one that's under dressed in comparison, after looking at Yukiko.]

No problem! Just tell me where you need me and I'll get to work~

...you're not going to be cleaning in that dress, are you?

[Sweeping aside, she offers a courtly bow.]

And no, I'm not. I'm going to be unpacking in this dress. And you...my royal subject...are going to be helping with the cleaning.

[A beat, her expression turning a little sour.]

...It's for that bingo game. I have to order people around as Princess Yukiko.

...oh. [She scrunches her nose.] That's worse than mine. But at least you don't have to do as much work this way.

[She dips into a dainty curtsy.]

Ann (Chalk Drawings and Peach Icepops)

[When Yukiko and Ann had made arrangements the previous week to get together and shop, that'd been before the crazy citywide bingo game started. Now though, it seemed like the ideal opportunity. Shopping itself went pretty well, and Yukiko at least had found a few new shirts she liked and school supplies to boot. But on the way home, she nods towards a park, hoping they can make a quick detour.]

Hey Ann, you didn't get one of those weird bingo cards did you?

[ likewise, ann also found a few tops she really liked and thought they'd be suitable for school! nothing too heavy or too dressy; she just wanted something cute and comfortable for classes. not like anyone really cares after the first week or so about what they wear, anyway.

though when yukiko brings up the bingo card, ann reaches into her bag, digging for her card. ]

Actually, I did. I've been trying to fill it out, and it's been...an interesting experience, to say the least.

[Yukiko's eyes light up a little, since that means they can probably help one another.  She fishes out her own and holds it out.]

Yep!  I sure did.  And since we're here...I have a thought.

[She points to a square.]

Would you mind if I...drew your outline in chalk somewhere in the park?  Since we're here, we could have fun with it.

[Maybe make it a fake mutual-homicide scene or something ridiculous?]

[ like they do in the movies, right? well... ann should think of something creative to do, in that case. ]
