Bingo/Other June Stuff Catchall! [OPEN]

WHEN: From July 3rd onwards... pretty much a catchall for the first half of the month
WHAT: Kurt's adventures as he attempts to fill out his bingo card and also has to deal with having a weird power, different from the weird power he was already getting used to.
WARNINGS: None yet, will update if necessary

A. You Know the Rules

[Kurt Wagner goes door to door, with a fancy-looking book of lyrics in hand. And he's also wearing a Santa hat. Because might as well go for full ridiculousness, right?

He'll knock on pretty much anyone's door, whether he knows them or not. And once they open? He'll sway in imitation of Rick Astley himself and begin to sing.]

We're no strangers to love...
You know the rules, and so do I!

[Yes, of course he's singing "Never Gonna Give You Up". Except that he's singing it in a style that actually sounds more like this song.

Of course, your character doesn't have to be the one answering the door. They can join if they want! Or try to file a complaint]

B. Classic Rock

[Kurt has made his way out to the lake located within Recolle Woods. And he's ready to practice some stone-throwing!

He picks up a rock with a smirk and tries throwing it right at the water! ...Except it proceeds to sink in without bouncing once.

After a few similar tries, Kurt groans and pulls at his hair in frustration.]

Aw, c'mon! It's always so easy on tv!

C. Role Models

[Even with all of the running around he's doing for this damn bingo game, Kurt still makes time for his first modeling photoshoot. And so, one morning you can find him outside a building in Tisse where modeling shoots happen. For once, Kurt is dressed in clothes that seem genuinely trendy, and he's even wearing a belt! But as the shoot's time draws closer, he looks at his reflection in his iphone and frets loudly]

Oh man, oh man... Come on, Kurt. You can do this. You can do this!

D. Wildcard

[He looks around in like five different directions and laughs nervously.]

Oh! You mean- like, outside? You... heard noises?!

[He waves a hand dismissively.]

Ohhh, that was just stuff!

...You are not a very good liar, are you, dude?

[ PRANK ASIDE ]

H-hey, I'm pretty good at lying! ...At times when I am lying, that is! [He responds shakily.]

You just stuttered?

Oh, so now people only s-stutter when they're lying?

[He crosses his arms. He's a bit nervous, but he's thinking. He was able to confide in Jade about his power, and she took it well. Especially when she had a matching one! He knows he should trust Dave, too...]

So what if I did have something else to tell you?

I would...not tell anyone else?

[ hazarding a guess here. dave's eyebrows have gone up and he is not sure what, exactly, kurt is hiding?

A TENDENCY TO MAKE WEIRD NOISES...? ]

[He pauses for a moment and then looks around.]

...Hey, when you have a break or something, could we talk? Somewhere private?

I mean, I'm the assistant manager and the manager ain't in today, so I can take a break now.

[ WAVES TO LET THE OTHER PERSON IN THE STORE KNOW THEY NEED TO TAKE OVER. ]

Come on, there's a back room no one else is in right now?

[digthefuzz]

Whoa, now that's power!

A back room? Um... lead the way, assistant capitan!

[parodeity]

Sure thing.

[ AND TO THE BACK ROOM THEY GO? there is a table and chairs for people to eat lunches at or whatever. dave will take a seat? ]

[To the back room!!

Kurt doesn't sit, though, and rather he stand antsily nearby.]

Hey! So. Dave, buddy. Man. There's something I'm wondering.

[parodeity]

You can take a seat as you like, tell me what it is you're wonderin'?

[digthefuzz]

Well, um... if you found out that someone you knew had, like... special powers.... What would you think?

[parodeity]

Would...I need to think anythin' - oh. You don't know about any of my shit, do you.

[ HAHA yeah dave's bad at communication ]

[digthefuzz]

[Now he just looks confused in turn.]

Um... What kind of stuff do you mean?

Super speed and time travel?

[digthefuzz]

...Now that's some combo! Dude, are... are you telling me you can travel through time?!

[parodeity]

Yep. That is like, my entire thing, basically?

[digthefuzz]

Whoa! For real?! Man, now that's even more unbelievable! Does that mean... Have you ever changed history?!

[parodeity]

Back in my other life? Yes. But it was usually meant to be changed, or best avoided. But anyway - that's why powers won't...uh, phase me much?

[digthefuzz]

[He just stares blankly for a moment.]

...Sorry! It's just... that took me totally off-guard! Super wild, man!

But... right... I should show you what I wanted to talk about, shouldn't I.

[parodeity]

If you want, yeah. I won't tell anyone if we're keepin' it super secret?

[digthefuzz]

[He nods.]

I appreciate that man. You can never be too careful, you now? Anyway... Brace yourself. Here it comes!

[Kurt, pauses for a moment as he prepares himself. Then, all of a sudden there's a bamfing noise and a puff of smoke as Kurt reappears on the other side of the table.]

And now, here I've gone?

[parodeity]

So...you teleport?

[ jade used to be able to, too. ]

Nice special effects. [ THE NOISE AND SMOKE, HE MEANS ]

[Rule number one: don't fall in love.]

That's right, man! It's legit. There may be smoke, but no mirrors here!

[At least Dave is as chill about it as he should have expected. Kurt's starting to feel silly about worrying that even Dave could react weirdly.]
