[ He'll admit that there are maybe a couple prompts on the bingo card that might be amusing. Maybe. Maybe. But this? This just proves it to him that all this is for Jim's amusement and potential financial benefit. Or his poor attempts to woo Janet. Yosuke isn't even sure if he feels sorry for Janet or not, but he really doesn't want to be wrapped up in this.

But, it's too late for that.

Yosuke stares in front of a display and...sighs. Towers. It's busy, usually, but at the start of the season there are tons of promotions going on. Something on there has go to be on Jim's registry, right?

So wrapped up in his own misery, Yosuke doesn't notice his senpai approaching until she tags him. Yosuke straightens immediately, jumping a bit in surprise before turning around. ]

--O-oh! Hey. I didn't see you there.

[ Duh. ]

Erm...sort of...

[ He looks back to the display with a sigh as he rubs his neck. ]

It's this stupid bingo card! So I hope it's on sale.

[complementing]

Wait, the "get Jim a gift" bingo tile? I have that one too!

[A comrade in arms! Minako falls into step with him and gears herself up for a rant.]

It figures that he's as shameless as he is an ass. I can't believe how expensive some of the gifts are on the list!

Oh snap, really?

[ Miserly loves company! Especially Minako's. ]

Yeah, it's ridiculous! He's totally coping out and getting us to do all the hard work for him.

[ Yosuke crosses his arms, totally ready to indulge in a Jim bashing session. ]

"Premium Ultra Blender 8000"? "1000 thread count bedsheets"? Can anyone honestly tell?

Could Jim? Not to mention he doesn't need any of this stuff to begin with!

[His engagement to Janet is a LIE.]

He can't honestly expect to get any of the pricey stuff from us after all that snark in his messages. Nobody likes him. At all.

Not at all! All he's done from day one is bait and jerk us around.

[ He shakes his head. ]

Maybe he's just hoping he'll get at least one? Better to ask than not at all? I don't know, but...I mean, do we have to get EXACTLY what's on the list? Or just, you know, close?

I'm sure we can fudge it a little bit. The worst that happens is that we don't fill the bingo square, right? I'd take that over getting him an entire set of Wedgwood dishes. Or a jacuzzi pool. [She scowls.] I'm a poor college student, for god's sake, how would I ever be able to afford stuff like this?

That's true. It's not like we have to do this. Even though I'm kind of curious what the whole point is...

[ It's as struggle. ]

He's cruel and doesn't care.

[ Yosuke frowns as he looks at the registry.

Then-- ]

--wait...does it specify, like, what kind of jacuzzi?

[complementing]

...no, I don't think so? [She's silent for a moment, her thumb scrolling scrolling scrolling down the long registry list.] Nope. What kind of jacuzzi were you thinking of getting?

[youraffection]

Heh heh!

[ Yosuke grins and starts typing away on his phone. When he's done, he turns his phone around so Minako can see the screen.

And what a beautiful sight it is. ]

Technically this has bubbling action!

[complementing]

[She stifles a snort into her shoulder.]

Let's do it. And get the smallest size available. That way he won't be able to fit into it no matter what.

[youraffection]

[ He's pretty damn proud of himself, actually. ]

Heh heh! Yeah, I think it comes in difference sizes. C'mon! Let's see what they have in stock!

[ He motions for her to follow him towards the...outdoor furniture section. Naturally there are some pretty high-end choices, but there are also some embarrassingly cheaper options available.

It comes in pink. Perfect.

Oh, good idea, Jim would probably be one of those people who'd get insulted about 'girly' colors. I hope it's more neon pink than the picture looks.

[She zips off for a quick moment to get a cart for them, and as she rides it back to where Yosuke is, she lets out a gasp of delight.]

Ooh, what message should we include with our gift?

[youraffection]

You're probably right! We can ruin his dreams and destroy his sense of masculinity at the same time.

[ While Minako gets the cart, Yosuke stands guard in front of the item. You know, just in case anyone else had the same smart idea. As soon as she gets back, he's hauling the large package off of the shelf to load it into the cart. That's something he's got a decent amount of experience with. ]

Hmmm..."Enjoy the jacuzzi you ja-erk..."--no, that sounds lame.

[complementing]

"Janet only likes guys willing to embrace pink." Or something like that.

[Once the jacuzzi is loaded onto the cart, she sets both feet on the bottom rail and rides it out of the aisle.]

[ Yosuke trots right along side her, mindful of her not losing control and the cart riding off into something... ]

Oh yeah, that'll work! Man, that might even get him to use it.

[complementing]

[She's been cart riding for ages, she's got this...] Yeah, and then he can get stuck in the jacuzzi and leave us alone for a while. Did you wanna split this fifty-fifty, then?

We can only hope...

[ He'd love to be a fly on the wall for that. ]
