[Augustine becomes surprised to see the ring and the announcer in the middle of it. And it's not just the stadium that makes him a little uncomfortable as he looks around to see many people in their seats.]

Looks like we made it just in time.

[me_matey]

-The bell rings to signify the start of the show. Entrance music blares over the loud speakers as a pair of female wrestlers make their way down the ramp near the staging, plenty of swirling lights and smoke signaling their arrival. They're both wearing thick leather armor and heavy face paint, looking like a pair of marauders. The ring announcer is back on the mic.-

"THE FOLLOWING TAG TEAM MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!" -The crowd shouts 'one fall' right back at him.- "WITH A 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT. MAKING THEIR WAY TO THE RING, THE TAG TEAM OF MAYHEM AND MURDERESS, THE SISTERS OF NOOOOO MEEEERCYYYYY!!!" -And given the cheers, they were apparently supposed to be the good guys?-

[The sight of two women in leather armor and face paint is enough for the college professor to stare at the entrance in full shock and confusion.]

Mayhem? Murderess? I really don't follow...

[Not to mention he is also confused on why the crowd is cheering for the women who are called by those names?]

[me_matey]

That's not their real names. Their characters are like these hardcore warrior types, right? So they gotta sound intimidating! -May shouts over the crowd noise, pointing towards the two women.- These two have been undefeated for months now. The crowd loves them because they just wreck fools. Total domination, yanno!

-The music faded, the crowd chanting 'no mercy' at the top of their lungs for a bit, before another song starts and the boos are even louder than the cheers had been.-

"AND THEIR OPPONENTS, MAKING THEIR WAY TO THE RING, THE TAG TEAM OF JAY FRESH AND CHAD BETTERS, THE BIG MONEY POSSE!!" -The ring announcer could barely be heard over the crowd's jeers as two fairly small looking white boys in sweatervests and slacks, though acting as if they were hard-living thugs. The insincerity of their gimmick was hopefully obvious enough that May didn't need to explain why a pair of frat boys acting like they were tough rap stars were worth being booed.-

The sisters are gonna tear these boys to bits. Watch. -May giggled, tugging at his arm a bit.-

O-Okay...

[Another reason why Augustine is really uncomfortable at this place. He is not the type to be interested in this violent sport. But since this is part of May's wish, he might as well swallow his pride for this.

When he sees the two women's opponents, he is utterly surprised that these small-looking boys are going to fight those tough-looking female wrestlers.]

A-Are you sure about this? Those two might get hurt.

[me_matey]

That's the whole point. -The bell rang, and the two men shouldered up to the women in the ring, one of them pulling out a wad of cash and throwing it dismissively in her face.-

The word is 'catharsis', right? Those guys represent shit we hate about our real lives. They're trust fund kids who never learned to respect anyone or anything. We're going to watch a play of them getting their comeuppance by two girls who just don't give a fuck and want to live their lives *their* way. Watch.

-In response to their opponents' disrespect, Mayhem and Murderess immediately threw their arms into Jay and Chad, into their chests, flooring them with a hard thud. The crowd cheered raucously.-

It's theatre, right? They aren't really fighting, it's just a play for us to enjoy!

[He doesn't know if this wrestling match is actually a "play" or that this fight is a catharsis to spoiled people on respecting others. Though considering in May's words, he guesses that they are somehow acting.]

So in other words, they are portraying some kind of character for the match? That's... very interesting...

[me_matey]

All of them do. It's part of the fun! -And as the match carried on, the choreographed nature of the violence became a bit more obvious. No real fight had this kind of flow to it, the spots intentionally designed to generate drama. Though for the most part, the Sisters of No Mercy were just squashing their unfortunate opponents, devastating them at every turn.-

Not a lot of the other matches are gonna be this one-sided. Promise.

I-I see. As long they are no serious injuries...

[With that, he decides to stay quiet for the whole match so he can see how this turns out.]

[me_matey]

Well that... can happen. But it's always an accident. -She always hoped it was an accident, at least, but she'd heard her share of stories of wrestlers going into business for themselves and punishing opponents that wronged them in some way... But the Sisters of No Mercy seemed too cool to be that petty!

Eventually, the bout came to an end, with the Sisters of No Mercy hitting their double-team finisher on the scrawnier of the two men, a tandem charging attack from opposite corners, and put him away with a pin and 3-count. The bell rang and the crowd gleefully cheered as the Sisters' music played once more.-

"And the winner, by pinfall, the Sisters of Nooooo Meeeercyyy!!!"

[As long those serious injuries came from accidents, he feels a little less worried about the sport itself. Yet despite a little uncomfortable and unsure about watching this, he starts to get immerse into the wrestling match as he continues to watch the show.

Once it's over, Augustine is one of the audience who didn't cheer on the winners. In fact, he just stood there shocked at the results.]

[me_matey]

You look like you gotta lotta questions, romeo. -May reached to poke at his cheek.-

[Augustine scratches at the back of his head as he tries to process everything that happened.]

Yeah, I can't believe how they managed to defeat them by flanking their opponents.

[me_matey]

You're actually thinking about strategy? That's... weirdly cute. You're analyzing it like it's an actual sport! -May couldn't help giggling, giving his hand a squeeze.-

[Realizing what she meant, Augustine blushes as he sheepishly grins about it.]

S-Somehow... I'm not exactly a sports fan, but I tend to analyze what I see in their actions in the ring.

It must have become a habit of mine ever since high school.

[me_matey]

Hell, dude, if you do that by habit, you might as well get into sports. People always appreciate good analysis, know what I mean?

R-Really? I wouldn't say that...

[Well, his brother and father did mention he can be very observant when it comes to animal's natural behavior.

But just as he can dwell on his past again, another memory has flashed in front of him. This time, he sees a battle between a blue anthropomorphic frog, which somehow looks similar to the small frog he saw from an earlier vision and a large red eagle-like bird against two cat-like creatures.

Once he sees those visions, he quickly shakes his head out of the trance, which May will notice this.]

[me_matey]

-She well recognized it by now, and had more than a few herself, even if the most recent batch made so little sense. She reached for his shoulder, giving it a gentle, concerned squeeze. She didn't say anything, just looked at him, silently asking if he was going to be okay.-

[When he sees May staring at him, he realizes what he is doing as he quickly makes a smile to avoid worrying her.]

Oh, I'm sorry. I must have lost my focus after that wrestling match back there.

[Yet, he starts to wonder what are those creatures he just saw this time. Not only that, what kind of memory is it showing to him? He knows that they are in some sort of battle, yet he notices that they were commanded by two people he can't seem to recognize.]

[me_matey]

Don't play me like that, boy, I know what that was. -May huffed.- We've both had them before, at this point.

[Well, he already knew that most of the Retrospec users have these strange memories already and he already trusts May. So he might as well tell her.]

Good point.

I just actually saw a memory of a battle. Except, it's a battle between two creatures against two cat-like ones.

[me_matey]

Creatures... You mean like the kind that showed up for you lately? -May had already distinguished Augustine's new pets/friends as being somewhat unique to ordinary animals.-

Why yes. How do you know?

[Yeah, how? He didn't even show Modeste to her in his previous meetings with her.]

[me_matey]

Uh, well, you know... Word gets around. -May shrugged sheepishly, but then sighed, shaking her head.-

I may have... I dunno... had some friends that go to the university follow you around to find out what you're like, and one of them saw one of your creatures and...

Look it's not spying! Or stalking! ... is it?

[Well, either he has to lower down his screams during that time he met Modeste or he needs to lower Modeste's visits to the university.]

I-I think I get the picture. So does that mean you already seen the purple dragon with me then?
