WHO: Yuuri (
wantshappiness) and Yuki (
starfruitfrog)
WHERE: In their apartment
WHEN: In the evening
WHAT: Yuuri sees a square on her bingo card as a hint she needs to actually talk about this creepy memory she got.
WARNINGS: ...nothing?
Honestly, Yuuri hadn't known what to feel about that one memory she got back. It just felt...wrong.
She hadn't meant to talk about it at all, content to just forget but then the bingo card said--
Maybe it was a sign.
It wasn't like the memory was even all that awful, anyway. She's setting the table (since it was her turn to make dinner) as she waits for her uncle to come home.

He hadn't remembered a whole lot besides food fighting him (and sometimes winning).
Rolling his shoulders, he closes the door behind him and toes off his shoes.
"I'm home!"

It really is nice though, that he's coming home to family every day. If anything it stopped him from eating out all the time.
no subject
She's obviously not going to tell him that though.
"It was...fun. I went outside to enjoy the weather and tried to fill some of the bingo squares."
no subject
Sato, are you a mom...
"Are you close to getting bingo yet?
no subject
"I did."
He's the best mom.
"I've almost gotten one! I'm only missing one more square...and then two more for the second and third one." She was working really hard to get everything!
"What about you?"
no subject
He doesn't reach out and pat her head even though he's tempted to. She did good, okay!
"I'm still missing a few, too. What are you missing? Maybe I can help?"
no subject
"Um. I still need to go carolling...but singing Never Gonna Give You Up? I was too embarrassed to go by myself..."
no subject
He regrets this already, but:
"We could go carolling together?
no subject
"Are you sure...? You don't--you don't have to if it's too much?"
no subject
"Of course I'm sure."
He isn't. Not at all.
"How bad could it be? I think if we go together it won't be that bad?"
no subject
Maybe it'll even be a bit fun?
"Is there any square I can help with on yours?"
no subject
Never mind that he has only the faintest idea of where to find fireflies in this city.
no subject
Which is probably getting cold as they're talking...oops.
no subject
He should put his stuff away and get changed, too, now that he thinks about it.
"Give me a second, okay? I'll be right out."
no subject
It's only after he leaves that she remembers that she had meant to talk to him about the hallucenomemory she had gotten...well. The moment has passed now. Maybe she'll talk about it another day.
After they finished dinner, they got ready to go outside and then they were heading for the park, which will allow them to carol and then also catch fireflies. Like getting two birds with one stone!
When they get there though, she stops. "Um. Sh-should we just sing here...?"
no subject
"I think here is okay. Do you know the lyrics?"
Because he doesn't and he has his phone out right now, searching it up and hoping that the internet will help him.
no subject
She's digging her phone out of her pocket and unlocking it.
"I don't know it very well though.]
no subject
Is this actually going to work? He's going to try his best anyway.
"Okay."
Sato coughs into his hand, scrolling through his search results until he finds one that works, "You ready?"
no subject
(And apparently has a bout as much of an idea of how to make this work as she does.)
She smiles nervously. "As ready as I'll ever be. Should we start on a count of three?"
no subject
"One, two..."
She can make the final count since it's as much her decision as it is his.
no subject
She takes a deep breath and starts from the chorus...because she honestly couldn't remember the rest. Maybe they should have made more thorough plans first...hopefully they were on the same page.
