[you have most likely seen a pub's idea of marketing via calling the attention of a specific demographic: video gamers. the flyers and social media campaign mentioned the place and location, and if you didn't find out through that, you were probably told by a friend or family friend about the event taking place.]
[it's not that big of a shindig; the place is big enough to house a number of people, although most walls and tables now contain one of several video game consoles. one may find any company's consoles, from bentendo's new click, the xube180, vs4, and even older ones such as the miiu, and classics like the famicon and the sbes. the hosts of the event are willing to switch the games around depending on public demand, although the ones they've started with are the staple fighting, the racing, cooking, platform, and party games. one for everyone's taste, basically.]
