[ Ryoji lifts his eyes from the ground, slow to settle and focus on Shuji's face, but recognizing him immediately because he'd promised all of three things to him: 1) no blood pacts, 2) no jumping off cliffs, and 3) no stabbing somebody. He'd already failed the last one, and is dangerously close to the second, and blood pacts... he has, in fact, offered this to somebody before he had met Shuji, although it wasn't followed through with.
