On a particular bench in Recolle Square, Souji sits down to enjoy the world, but something's off about him today. Just... something. Perhaps it's the the silver hair and the silver eyes as yes, those stand out, but wait.... what are thooooose!!

Thick old man frames. Suspenders. Corduroy pants. Bowtie. Wooden cane. Wrinkles drawn on. Eyes squinting. Mouth smacking. A bag of bird seed.

"Ahh... the days of my youth... like the scent of fresh lemons, you see."

Oh no... he's been transformed into an old man... come help him, you whippersnapper. (Yes, he's talking to you! About his fresh lemons and all...)

TWO

Okay, so Souji's out of his old man costume now but he still has the silver hair and eyes. Unfortunately, it looks like those were real and part of his physical appearance regains. Yay... Oh joy... But Souji's not going to let it get him down. In fact, he has some free time and a sense of humour to spare, so he walks around, with a cardboard sign hanging around his neck that reads:

'25¢ for a day's worth of jokes'

... Go for it?

THREE

Souji has been wary about posting and talking about Retrospec and any information about them over the network. Of course, announcing that he's going to be at a specific location to discuss the company over the network isn't any better, but there's not too much he could do about that, especially when the app is on every possible electronic device. He'll probably figure out a better way at asking people to share info with him, but for now, looks like this is the way to go.

He sticks out like a sore thumb, with his new silver hair, but he just patiently waits, sitting on the edge of the fountain. When someone does approach, he gets up and raises his hand in a wave.

"Thanks for dropping by."

Anything is game! When Souji is not doing anything of the above, he's just wandering around the city, probably feeding strays or something. Come and bother him!

Well, at least he isn't very down to the fact he is affected by the changes, considering his words and his smile to the professor.

"It's been okay ever since our last meeting. Although, I'm somehow in the same situation as the other users."

Souji's just been trying to take all of this in stride. There's no use in panicking over the situation and just take things one step at a time. However, Augustine's comment gets him to wonder what he's talking about.

"Same situation?"

"Well, it's not like yours, but I've recently got another package from Retrospec and...

Let's just say it was too much for me to take in when I see the contents."

He's just lucky that the dragon he got didn't eat or maul him when he first met her.

...? Too much? Was it like a weapon or some strange pet? Souji's been seeing those over the network.

"May I ask what you've received?"

Once Souji asks, Augustine looked around the area to make sure there are no crowds or people passing by as he takes out the capsule ball from his pocket. Besides, explaining about what he received isn't enough.

"It would be better if I show you."

He then tosses the ball into the air and once it pops open, it releases Modeste, his dragon friend. Unlike last time, she didn't roar loudly as Augustine doesn't want her to make a scene. However, he then wonders what will Souji react to the sight of a shark/dragon hybrid creature in front of him.

Souji's reaction to a giant huge Pokemon is... well, as typical as anyone else's reaction would be to suddenly see a giant shark/dragon hybrid monster. He takes a few steps back and he's speechless at first, just staring at it. He's... not really sure what to say at first and when he does manage to find his words, it takes him a few seconds before he finally looks back at the professor.

"... Retrospec sent you this?"

In his honesty, he is also disbelieved at his latest package as well. A capsule ball that contains a shark/dragon hybrid creature that is the same as his vision, he can't even wonder how is it possible. Not to mention that the dragon somehow knew him.

"Yes. It was actually stored into inside this capsule ball called a Poke Ball," he said as he shows the said red and white ball. "It was actually the same dragon I've mentioned back then."

Souji takes a few glances between the professor and the Pokemon, still almost not being able to believe his eyes. This is... really something else.

"The one you've dreamt or remembered about, correct?" He has to double check and make sure.

"Again, yes. This is the same dragon I've told you about, I think..." He then strokes the dragon's snout, which she growls in delight.

"Other that it looks like a shark and dragon, I don't even know what she really is, so I called her Modeste."

Modeste... well, so far, this dragon seems to be living up to her name.

"She also resembles a dinosaur." But that's just as impossible as a dragon. What is this, Jurassic Park? He focuses back on the professor. "And Retrospec never contacted you after they left you this package? They never said what she is?"

Oh yeah, he never thought of her like a dinosaur before. To him, she looks like she is crossed between a hammerhead shark and a dragon.

"Unfortunately, no. They didn't even tell me that they sent me Modeste as well. All I thought when I got the package beforehand is that they gave me a strange capsule ball."

He even shows the said ball to Souji just in case.

Souji looks down at the ball and thinks... it looks like a toy, honestly.

"And you're saying that she came from this? She can fit in it?" This is really all too much to believe.

"Sort of. This ball just turns her into energy when I returned her here."

Speaking of which, he knew that Modeste has overstayed her welcome and he needs to return her back into the Poke Ball before anyone can see her.

"Alright, Modeste. Return."

Just like he said, the dragon turned into red energy when the laser from the ball hits her before it absorbed into the ball.

"To be honest, despite I suddenly knew how to use this, I'm still disbelieved at how this Poke Ball really works."

This is... a lot to take in. Souji is stuck between disbelief and wonder, and he crosses his arms as he tries to process it all.

"The technology is nothing I've ever heard of. If we've had something like this, I'm sure we would have heard about it before." The things they could do with the technology of turning things into energy to store would be revolutionary. "I haven't received anything like this from Retrospec or heard of anyone getting something similar, unless you've heard otherwise?"

In his honesty, he never heard of an item that can turn anything like Modeste into energy for storage until now.

"Judging from the other posts I recently saw in Retrospec, I think mine is the only one that can do so far. Though, I doubt this would be the last of this item or any strange creature."

"Do you have reason to believe that they'll send you more creatures like this?"

Did he have visions with more of these monsters?

[megabond]

"It's just a feeling, but considering I also had another vision about these three strange creatures, I knew they might send me more of them."

Although the said creatures are somehow smaller than Modeste in his visions, he had a feeling he might have his hands full at his apartment if Retrospec will send them to him.

"I see..." Souji doesn't really know what to make of all that. It's certainly something to keep in mind and write down later.

"Well, asides from all that, are you all right, professor?"

"Other than having a memory of this Poke Ball device, I'm alright. Thankfully, I wasn't affected by any physical changes like you."

Yet, judging by his recent visions, he can tell that his vision self is somehow the same as his current appearance right now, so he wonders if that's the reason behind his immunity.

He nods.

"I'm glad to hear that. These physical changes seem to be more common these days." At least compared to a few months ago. "People have been getting visions of the changes prior to when they happen as well."

[megabond]

That makes sense as he did remember that he wore some different outfits in some of his visions, one, in particular, was a white lab coat that his vision self wore in the visions with the three small creatures and a cat-shaped mecha.

"Well, it is just a theory I made up, but if what you said is true, then I feel that your physical changes are somehow trying to match the appearances you and the others saw in your visions."

"I was thinking about that too and it does seem to be the case. Have you had any visions of any different physical appearances?"

[megabond]

"Most of my visions did show that I was wearing a lab coat. Other than that, there are no signs of any changes of my physical appearances in all of them."
