[ Throughout the first week of October, Lucille does her best to keep herself busy. With all of the mystery revolving around Retrospec, different lives, murders, and any number of other oddities, sitting idle is only going to force her to let the mounting anxiety she’s been feeling get even worse.

She can be found doing the following during this time: ]

A:
[ During the day, Lucille can be found wandering around the Recollé University campus in an effort to locate weird and interesting things. Her current obsession? Locating bizarre statues and trying to interpret what they are. Is she an artist? Gosh no. But does she have opinions about art? You bet! Get ready to hear them if you walk by.

Or maybe you can help her figure out what these are, because she sure has no clue! ]

B:
[ During odd hours of the day (and sometimes, gasp, at night!), Lucille can be found curled up somewhere around the college campus, either dozing off or sound asleep. The common room in the first-year dorms, the library, various places around the student union building; really anywhere she can find a comfortable spot and has a moment to rest her eyes. More often than not, she can be found surrounded in books and notes, pouring over any variety of study materials. On the rare occasion, the small blond may be caught (again, gasp!) not studying, but instead with some massive book in her lap. The guilty pleasure she’s currently reading? Some kind of campy-looking fantasy, or a classic mystery/thriller novel.

She probably shouldn’t be sleeping here, but it’s okay. Probably. ]

C:
[ And on Friday night, Lucille can be found at the Catmosphere Café. It’s been a long Monday to Friday for her, and she needs some time to recharge. What better way to do that than with a bunch of cats! She can be seen trying to get the attention of various furry patrons around the cafe, but some of them seem to be playing hard to get.

Help her make a new friend and she’ll think you’re the cat’s meow! ]

[ She won't judge Li-Na for giving her the typical customer service greeting. Making her way up to the coffee bar, she leans up against the counter. ]

Wow, I couldn't have planned this any better if I tried. Did you have any plans after work?

[ She has something in mind herself, but it would be fun to have someone to tag along with. ]

[Li-Na grins as she finishes wiping down the espresso machine]

Not really. What are you up to?

I wanted to get a few finishing touches for my Halloween costume at the thrift shop down here. And see what else they have, of course.

[ Yes it's the first week of October, but she has been looking forward to this for weeks. ]

Did you want to come with?

Oh, yes! I would love to! I need to find a mask for my costume.

[Actually, she needs to find a mask so she can give it to Yogi, so he can then design her costume. But same thing really.]

I'll be off in just a little bit. Do you want anything while you wait?

Oh! What are you dressing up as?

[ Lucille hums to herself before holding up a hand. She was coming in for something, but she would feel guilty having Li-Na make something for her. ]

No, that's okay. I don't want to make more work for you. [ Maybe when she isn't working she'll try something. ]

I was thinking witch originally, but then I started talking with Yogi and I had an idea for a dark fairy.

[Li-Na raises her eyebrows]

Don't want to make more work for me? What, do you have something really customized in mind?

[she has to fight down the urge to strangle people whenever a moonbucks customer comes in wanting her to recreate their special snowflake latte]

[ Lucille's face lights up at the mention of Li-Na's costume. ]

My sister and I are dressing as fairies too! We need to make sure to get a pictures of all of us together!

[ That smile of hers turns rueful when she's pressed about her order. ]

No, nothing like that. Honestly I'm pretty simple when it comes to coffee, it just feels weird having a friend make it for you while they're at work.

Oh yes, we definitely should. That would be a fun picture.

[As Lucille explains her reasoning, Li-Na smiles and shakes her head a little]

But when a friend makes it for you, you know it'll taste extra good. Well, provided they are good at their job.

[her smile grows cheeky and she points at herself]

Which, I am. So tell me how you like it, and I will make you a Li-Na Special~

[ With a sheepish smile, Lucille relents. She knows when to pick her battles, and this is definitely not one of them. ]

I'm sure you're sick of making PSLs at this point, so how about you surprise me. Make me something you like.

[ She's easy, she'll probably like it. ]

[Li-Na lets out a small laugh]

It is nice to reach for something other than the pumpkin spice now and then.

[she looks over her rack of syrups for a moment, the pumps a couple different ones into a cup before setting it under the espresso machine]

This one is a nice fall flavor. Sweet, but warm at the same time.

[As she waits for the espresso to drip down, she steams the milk before carefully adding it to the cup. Then she tops it off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon]

Caramel cinnamon latte.

[she grabs a piece of bakery paper and takes a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie from the case]

Which pairs very nicely with one of these.

[she pops the cookie into a small paper bag and slide it across the counter]

My treat~

[ She watches Li-Na work her magic, curious about what kind of drink she's whipping up. As she slides both cup and pastry bag in Lucille's direction, her face seems to light up. ]

Are you sure? I'll pay you back.

[ She will never say no to free pastries. If she does, either assume an alien or body snatcher situation. Lucille takes a sip of the drink... ]

Li-Na, has anybody ever told you that you are a coffee goddess? This is amazing!

[ This is seriously magic in a cup. She's in heaven. ]

Now and then~

[Li-Na smiles at the compliment, then straightens up as another costumer enters the cafe.]

Go sit and enjoy. I'll be done in about ten minutes~

[and sure enough, exactly ten minutes later Li-Na pops out of the back room, sans aprons and name tag]

[ Lucille does just that, keeping herself busy until Li-Na is done with her shift. She raises a hand when she sees the other girl walk over, waving at her. The cookie is long gone by the time Li-Na makes her way over. ]

[Li-Na bounces a little as they leave Expressive. She enjoys her job, but she also enjoys shopping. To today is a win-win.]

Which store did you want to look at first?

Let's see. Usually I like to pick stuff up from the thrift store for this kind of thing, but I'm still not familiar with a lot of the shops out here.

[ It's a big city, and even if she's had a few months to settle in, that isn't nearly enough time to be able to internalize everything. ]

Do you have any suggestions? Where are some places you like to go to?

Hmmmmmm, if I remember correctly, there's a thrift store on 17th Street. We can start there. Then we can look up if there are any others in the area.

There's also a cute accessories shop in Enprise that I like. Though, I don't know if they'll have anything particularly Halloweeny.
