[You find yourself on a grassy plain. It's nighttime, and while this whole thing is probably incredibly surreal, the scenery is at least peaceful. You can see a dark building ahead of you.

If you look behind you, you'll notice that there's a large, thick forest. Listening for a moment will tell you that there's plenty of wildlife there, and it doesn't sound happy to see you. It's probably not a good idea to head that direction. But hey, if you really want to, there's nothing stopping you.

If you choose to approach the building, you'll hear the distant sound of waves crashing, but otherwise all is silent. It would almost be serene, if not for the ominous look of the building. It appears to be a very large manor. There are plenty of lights on inside despite the late hour, which gives you a little more light to see the building itself. For some reason there are massive chains decorating the left side of the building that don't actually seem to be there for any specific purpose, and above that are flags for... some reason. The whole thing is kind of an experience, and the gloomy atmosphere and isolated nature of the house probably aren't doing much to make you feel at ease.

Since the manor is most likely where you're headed, you might want to get a bit closer to the front door to check it out. Be careful, though - you won't be able to get too close without two guards spotting you. They're dressed in yellow uniforms complete with masks that hide the upper halves of their faces. They don't exactly look friendly; one of them has a crossbow in hand and the other has some kind of large daggers that look like they're attached to the back of his hands.

You'll find that there's a solid wall around the perimeter of the manor; you can hide here for a moment if you'd like. Climbing over the wall seems to be out of the question given the height of it and the spikes on top.

[You absolutely would be. Jaeger always has a pretty damn impressive stock of Weird Stuff.

The back of the store mostly looks familiar... except for a trunk in the very back. There doesn't seem to be a door for the back room either, so that's kind of odd. The trunk is fairly large and closed at the moment, but it doesn't look like it's locked.]

[The trunk is new and weird, and Shuji does have a reason to look around and poke things in attempts to find Jaeger and not have him in a coma forever, so...]

I'm sorry in advance if this is your trauma trunk.

[...he's going to try to open it.]

[It'll open! It looks like there's a bunch of stuff inside - the two things on top appear to be photo albums.]

[No harm so far, phew. Shuji will open up the first photo album, kind of hoping that Jaeger's baby pictures are in here.

He saw Shuji as a kid, it's only fair.]

[Ding ding ding, you're correct! The earliest pictures in here are indeed of baby Jaeger! There's also plenty of pictures of his family - his father looks stoic and serious in the few pictures he appears in, his mother has the same sort of pleased expressions he does (and it's clear he takes after her), and then there are his siblings... there are six of them! There are a lot of pictures of family vacations and important moments in school. There's even some pictures of Jaeger and his siblings playing or working on things like hobbies. It's clear the family was very close.

If you keep flipping through, you'll notice that the photo album ends with Jaeger being only a little younger than he is now. There aren't as many pictures of him at the end, but all of the ones in here show him with a rough-looking group of people around his age or older, and there are even a few pictures of him with a woman, though her face has been blacked out.]

Awww...

[Baby Jaeger is precious. The woman's face being blacked out is a little bit worrying, but who hasn't had a relationship that ended badly?

After cooing over child Jaeger a little bit more, he'll put that photo album aside and open up the other one.]

[The next photo album definitely seems more recent - there are pictures from Recollé in here! Many of them are from before the physical changes Jaeger received, but if you keep flipping through there are plenty near the end where he's got the stupid hair.

Some of the photos are of Leviathan's Claw or other locations around the city - there are even some taken of the cityscape at night, probably from somewhere high up. The majority of the pictures are of people, though; you'll probably recognize most of them! You're in here, along with Elda, Jaeger's employees, and of course there's Wesker too. There are even some selfies Jaeger's apparently managed to convince Wesker into taking with him!

Some of these pictures seem to be of events that no one actually took any pictures during, but they all appear to be happy moments, things that are clearly important to Jaeger.]

[This album is adorable and he kind of wants to keep looking at it forever, but alas, it's not going to help him and Jaeger return to Recolle proper. Reluctantly, he sets it aside.

Besides the photo albums, what's in the trunk?]

[It looks like there are two more items - a folder and a calendar. Which one do you want to look at first?]

[Calendar please! Does it have pictures of cats on it: the most important headcanon question.]

[It does, actually! Every month has a different picture of an absolutely adorable cat, it's a very cute calendar.

Aside from the cats, the important thing here is how ridiculously organized Jaeger is - everything is marked on the calendar in different colors and he apparently keeps very close tabs on everything necessary to run his business.

Some days are outlined in bright blue highlighter - if you've told Jaeger your birthday at any point, you'll find it highlighted here in that same color! Other than that there are a lot of birthdays noted in here. He apparently keeps very close track of those too.

Three days are highlighted in multiple colors, though there aren't any notes on why they're so important: January 20th, March 18th, and October 28th.]

You're really organized... no wonder you're such a good boss.

[...Now that he thinks about it, he isn't sure when Jaeger's birthday is. He'll have to ask.

What's in the folder?]

[Three things, actually - the first is the most boring, it's a lot of records from his business. There are some notes here too, but it's all work-related and nothing super interesting.

The second look like applications! Some of the information has been blacked out, but the names are still present - Silver, Zaveid, and Sakura's applications are in here!

Finally, there's a stack of receipts. Many of them are business-related, and once again some of the information is blacked out. There are an alarming amount of them from the waffle house near where Retrospec's building used to be so that's... something...??

Apparently all of these are important, somehow.]

[Business, business, business. Nothing huge.

Alright, this was adorable but not super productive, so Shuji's going to leave Leviathan's Claw to go back to... the Leviathan's Claw hideout... This time he's picking the door to the right of that guard, unless he gets shanked in the process or something.]

[The first door on the right side of the hallway, then? Don't worry, the guard won't stop you, he doesn't seem to care, honestly.

This room is smaller than the others, and it's laid out like a proper part of the manor instead of being kind of weird like the previous room.

...Well, okay, it's still kind of weird because there's no furniture in here, but there are paintings on the walls! Which wall do you want to start with?]

You could at least put a chair here...

[Let's start with the left wall! Why not.]

[There are a few paintings here! The first is of a blue-haired man in a terrible outfit, the second is of a giant of a man, a red-haired woman and some scrawny nerd. The longer you stare at the pictures, the more you'll begin to feel things... sort of? You'll actually be feeling less while staring at the blue-haired man and the red-haired woman, and if you look at them for too long you'll end up completely apathetic, so maybe don't do that.

The other two pictures will give you some vague emotions, though! The picture of the giant man gives you a sense of fondness and respect, while the painting of the nerd amuses you, for some reason.

There aren't any name plates or anything to identify these people, but the paintings are detailed and well-done.]

[Has Shuji seen that guy with the cleavage window before?

...Nahhh. Shuji turns his attention to the next wall, since nobody here is important.]

[The next wall (the wall you were facing when you entered) is definitely different - there's a large painting in the center with many smaller frames on the side. The large picture is of two teenage girls, the red-haired girl looks serious while the green-haired girl is smiling brightly. You'll get some muted emotions from this as well, mostly a sense of compassion and familial love, though there's something bitter there too that's hard to place.

Strangely enough, most of the smaller pictures are blank canvases. The only one that isn't blank is very muted - it looks like it was probably a proper painting once like the others, but the colors seem to have faded significantly. You can still make out the woman in the picture, though. The emotions here are even more muted, but there's a sense of longing and loss, along with something that's probably love? It's kind of hard to tell because again, it's so muted.]

His family...?

[Even someone like Yeager has family, Shuji supposes. He hadn't thought about it.

Third and last wall?]

[The last wall only has one painting, but it's a fairly large one. It depicts a odd group of people with the same terrible fashion sense as everyone else. Once again, you'll be getting a lot of apathy from the picture the longer you stare at it... though there's something else there that's definitely positive, it's just hard to place.]

[Hm. Weird.

This seems to all be Yeager's stuff and Shuji doesn't know what to do with that. So it's back to the hallway and into the last door he hasn't checked.]

[When you turn to leave you'll actually see that there's one more painting on the wall a little further away from the door. It's of a older man, but unlike the other paintings in the room, this one's been defaced. Like the picture from the woman on the opposite wall, this one is drained of color, but there are also several slashes through the painting. It looks like someone took a bladed weapon to it?? You can still get a good idea of what the man looks like, but that's probably still a little jarring considering the condition of all the other paintings.

Even more pressing are the feelings - they'll come easily and they're a bit stronger than most of the others in the room. Frustration, anger, fear... and beneath all that, acceptance.

Back to the hallway and the last door, then?]

[Shuji's going to go out on a limb and say Yeager didn't like this guy. Yikes.

Still back to the hallway and last door!]

[Once again, the guard does not seem to care that you're wandering around here, so time for the final door on the left side of the hallway!

Immediately you'll notice that something is off here, like the room that led into Leviathan's Claw (the shop), this room doesn't seem like it fits in with the manor at all. In fact, it seems way too big to be housed within the manor? The ceiling reaches high up and everything else is blue in hue and it looks sort of like you're underwater.

The room itself seems to be empty beyond the various arches and architecture of the room. There aren't any other doors than the one you entered from.

There is an item in the center of the room, though. It's shiny and not very large, but you can't tell what it is from over here.]
