[OPEN] I see stars and painted lies
WHO: Reiji Suzukaze (eventually) and whomever decides to join him (presumably you!)
WHERE: Dreamscapes
WHEN: Slightly backdated to 8/25
WHAT: Dreamdiving.
WARNINGS: Actually, none that I can think of? If anything comes up I'll warn and adjust accordingly.
>[There's something about the world that isn't right anymore.
You find yourself surrounded by buildings, tall and slate-grey, stretching up toward the sky above, so far up that you have to crane your head back to see where they might happen to end; the cityscape itself seems devoid of color - and not in the way that Recollé was devoid of color, there are definitely still things around you instead of the stark white of the layer collapse, outside of the buildings there are trees and small patches of grass lining the curbsides - but everything seems to be frozen in a thick pallette of grey.
And it does all seem to be frozen - there's no breeze that you can sense, no movement to the scene in front of you. Everything is stock-still; even your watch, if you wear one, doesn't budge with regards to the time.
The street stretches out long in front of you; you're welcome to travel down it, if you so choose.]

... But okay no, she whistles a little to be in this world, as if expecting to see someone around here. She blinks a little, and looks up at the sky. The grayscale makes it hard to decide if it's day or night, but either way, it seems to not Count as sunlight to burn her flesh.
So... She sort of gestures around and checks her purse...
Yeah, three bats. Okay. ]

What now?]
no subject
That said, she hums and sends the bats out to scout around the area. Following that, though, she bounces on her heels and ... Well. Time to look around. Between her and her bats get the lay of the land. We still in Recolle or elsewhere now? ]

There's a reasonably long street stretching out in front of you, and a park across the street to you right. To your left are buildings, and that's the side of the road you're on.]

Let's see if she can't get in one of these taller buildings, go up to a viewing area to get a sky line. ]

However, that doesn't mean it's unoccupied; the lobby you'll find yourself in is not unlike that of a particularly nice hotel, and it's staffed and populated with people - behind counters and in seating areas. All of them are the same sort of greyed-out monochrome as everything outside, and they seem to neither move, breathe, nor track movement.]

... Okay.
Let's... go over to the nearest person and gently poke them. ]

[ Well.
Let's.
Go to the elevator, maybe... ]
no subject
Well, that's inconvenient.]
no subject
Should have.
Seen that coming. Ugh.
...
she waits about two minutes and then decides to just. Go to the stairs... ]
