[You may be out on a run, finishing up some errands, or going home when you enter into a place that you're not familiar with. Everything looks normal on the outside. There's a nice looking, large house with a perfectly kept lawn, and flowers lining the walkway. Everything looks perfect with a hair out of place, however when you walk inside you see a flash of imperfection, but it disappears just as quickly. When you enter the foyer to the house you see a note on the table in front of you that reads:

It's a beautiful place isn't it?
However, it's not as beautiful as one may think.
If you want to find out the reason why locate the clues to solve the puzzles
Each puzzle will reveal a secret
Good luck on solving the puzzles
But remember the clock is ticking

Surely nothing bad will happen if you don't solve the puzzles, right?

[It had been something on his mind since the first time he ran into Sena in Recolle. He didn't know what he did to make him so upset, he has a good idea about it now. He's glad that he finally explained himself now. Makoto moved to pat his back or do something comforting when he stops.

Wait...he heard those words before. He wasn't here in his mind, he was somewhere else, a room in the school. He was tied up and locked in a room for days cause...cause Sena had the key. Sena locked him away like some caged bird! Quite a nice way to protect somebody. Sena said he wanted to put that behind him, but Makoto can't let this go, not yet.

Makoto rested a hand on Sena's back before he looked up at him.]

You're going to protect me again. Are you going to tie me up and lock me away this time too?

[ at first sena raised a brow at makoto's words, not yet registering what he meant...

until it did. from encountering that one orange-haired brat; to hearing makoto's muffled voice from one of those soundproof rooms ("That's no good, Yuu-kun. Yuu-kun, I absolutely won't let you get out of there until you've become honest."); to standing there, utterly dumbstruck and helpless, as makoto bashes his own face against the door, the one thing izumi had treasured above all else -- ]

Y-Yuu-kun...

[ he kidnapped him. that was knights' downfall.

it's all sena's fault again. ]

That was-- I didn't... [ he didn't know? that it's going to turn out like that?! no one would expect kidnapping to crop up in idol school of all places, but maybe he should've anticipated it what with that cenotaph outside the school... ] Yuukun, I didn't know... I just...

I'm serious. About protecting you this time, in this life. So please... I'm sorry. I know that a stupid apology's not going to make up for what had happened, but...

[ god, he's close to crying again. this is too much. ]

[Honestly, Makoto didn't know what kind of reaction he would get from Sena. He expected to get an explanation for why he did what he did. He didn't think he would get this as an answer. Still, he can't believe Sena would do this! He never thought he would get kidnapped!]

I just want to know why you did it. Why did you kidnap me? If there was something you wanted to do why didn't you tell me?

[Makoto's voice breaks a little as tears well up in his eyes. He's still upset when all he wants is the reason why Sena did this.]

[ he's crying. crying for reasons that sena just can't explain in due time. even so he can put two and two together in a horrific realization, just like last year, but this time he wants to talk things out. ]

I... It was for a competition. I just-- didn't think why he'd... I'd do something like that.

[ he didn't want to cry either but it's too late. a single tear drops from his face and onto the floor, and the hand that was holding makoto is shaking. ]

I'm sorry... I'm sorry, Yuu-kun.

[Makoto remembers being so scared, so worried that no one would find him. Sena in the past held him against his will over a competition? What kind of competition happened for him to actually do something like this? Makoto wiped his eyes as he worked to calm down.]

I just...I don't know why the you in the past would do something like this? I... [Makoto started when he saw the tear dropped from Sena's face. Wait, does he feel bad about what happened? Makoto wiped his eyes again as he listened to his apology. He wanted to believe it, he really did, it took so long for him to not fret whenever Sena came by. He bit his lip as he looked over at Sena again.]

I'll accept you apology on a few conditions. One, you have to promise me that you won't do something like this again, okay? You really scared me! Two, if you want to protect me can you tell me? I...I don't really want to try to avoid you since we're connected in the past too. And three... [Makoto rubbed his arm as he turned his eyes down to the floor.] I'll take pictures though it has to be on my terms. If you can let me know that you can do this then...then I think we can start over.

[ no time for tears here; makoto should have to right to do so in his own dream. all sena can do is listen to makoto's conditions, which are easy enough to fulfill - ]

O-Of course. Yes, I-- I never intended to kidnap you again in this life. I'll also tell you what you need to know once I do remember anything more. [ it's going to hurt more for the both of them, but open communication is key. ] And... yes, I'm not stopping you to take photos anymore.

[ he rubs away the tears from his own eyes with the back of your hand, hesitating before taking makoto's hands again. ]

I'll do my best to protect you in this life again, Yuu-kun. I promise. [ ... ] You'll help me too, right? Figure out what we were?
