[You may be out on a run, finishing up some errands, or going home when you enter into a place that you're not familiar with. Everything looks normal on the outside. There's a nice looking, large house with a perfectly kept lawn, and flowers lining the walkway. Everything looks perfect with a hair out of place, however when you walk inside you see a flash of imperfection, but it disappears just as quickly. When you enter the foyer to the house you see a note on the table in front of you that reads:

It's a beautiful place isn't it?
However, it's not as beautiful as one may think.
If you want to find out the reason why locate the clues to solve the puzzles
Each puzzle will reveal a secret
Good luck on solving the puzzles
But remember the clock is ticking

Surely nothing bad will happen if you don't solve the puzzles, right?

Room 1

[The first puzzle to enter the first one is a simple jigsaw puzzle of a doll. The clues aren't hidden in too many different places it can be found in the foyer of the house and the kitchen. After you find the clues you walk to the first door of the room when you open it, it looks like a small photo gallery. There are pictures of magazine covers of a beautiful model, mannequins with the stylish clothes on them, and the walls lined with professional shots. However, when you fully walk in the room the cover goes away to reveal quite the opposite.

The pictures on the walls are on the floor with broken frames, pictures ripped in half, and black x's on the faces. The mannequins once posed in a nice way are twisted with ripped clothes on them instead. The magazine cover of the beautiful model in now crooked with an x over the picture. On the floor there are a couple of doll cases turned over and open with a mannequin twisted inside.

However, every picture frame isn't broken! There is one intact with a picture of Makoto and his parents in it. Can you find it?]

[ this is... eerie. too eerie. the fact that sena's all alone here makes the place even creepier, but it's as if there's any way to escape at the moment. the mannequins are making it hard for him to relax either.

but first, let's investigate. sena will check out these magazines first, picking one up and staring at the front cover. would he recognize the person on it? ]

[The magazine does have a model on the cover, though their face is blurred with their name scratched out on the bottom and replaced with 'doll' on the cover. Try another one!]

[adoringpast]

[ "doll"... that word alone sends a shiver down his spine, dropping the magazine back on the pile and pushing himself back. this place can't be his, can it? he's gotten the message though, so he'll check out the ripped up photos on the wall next. what can those pictures tell him despite their state? ]

[amodelidol]

[The ripped photos on the wall has blurred pictures of the models on it with the covers of the magazine scratched out. There is one picture on the wall with everything scratched out except the word "case" on it.]

[adoringpast]

[ case? let's check that out then! can he take the picture out of the wall? ]

[amodelidol]

[He can! The only picture that will move is the one with case on it. He can carry that with him as he checks out the cases.]

[adoringpast]

[ okay, picture get. "doll", "case"... there are a couple of doll cases on the ground, so he's going to check them out next.

there's another mannequin inside, so he can just take it out, right? ]

[amodelidol]

[He can take it out, though he should be careful not to move the mannequin too much or he won't be able to take it out the case.]

[adoringpast]

[ he'll be gentle, don't worry. it's a little hard trying to pull the mannequin out in one piece though - can he disassemble it and take it out limb by limb? ]

[amodelidol]

[Sure, he can do that, but he does have to put the mannequin back together. Any loose parts will result in the door of the case closing until the mannequin is put back together. He can put it in any pose.]

[adoringpast]

[ in that case, he'll do that! he's... not sure if he's doing it right though, but so long as the joints click together, he must be doing it right.

he's going to make the mannequin pose with its hands on his hips in a confident position, of course. will that suffice? ]

[You put the mannequin together which is the first part, though you'll have to change the pose. It can't be confident, though it can be posed in another way.]

[Puzzles... Shinji's done a lot of stupid puzzles in video games over the years, this can't be any more obtuse than point and click games are.

Shinji first goes to the mannequin, since it seems like the least likely puzzle to cut his fingers on glass from broken picture frames.

Can he adjust the mannequin?]

[He can adjust the mannequin any way he wants the only poses he can't use are confident ones.]

[Please love yourself, Makoto.

Okay, a confident pose is too out of character, that makes sense. How about a wave? He's a friendly kind of guy.]

[Loving himself is a work in progress.

A wave works! Now with that mannequin posed, there are the others around the room that could use the same treatment.]

[Shinji will pose the others in similar happy/friendly poses.

Can he make one be blowing a kiss or is that too confident...]

[amodelidol]

[That would be a little out of character for him. He never liked being in front of a camera so doing a pose like that would be the same as the poses he had to do, but he didn't want to.]

[Okay, that's fair. Can he make two mannequins hug? Love yourself??]

[amodelidol]

[Shinji that's very sweet, unfortunately it doesn't fit the theme of the room. You can have the two mannequins wave at each other in a friendly way. That's perfectly fine.]

[Well maybe they can change the theme of the room!! Don't limit yourself, Makoto!

...yeah he'll make them wave at each other, that's okay.]

[Shinji is being so helpful, but it will take a little more for him to change the theme of the room.

That works! As long as the mannequins are friendly it will help! Makoto had a small stint as a model with his mom, but he managed to stay friendly throughout the whole ordeal.]

[Friendly mannequins reconstructed, check. Next is the picture frames.

...unless there's broken glass everywhere, then he's getting gloves before doing anything with that. Sorry Makoto, he's got priorities.]

[Makoto appreciates your priorities. Don't worry there's no broken glass! The first picture is one of a model with their face scratched out. Many of the pictures have their faces scratched out, until Shinji finds one that has the word 'doll' written on the bottom of it. ]
