Being half-aware of the dream is strange. Things making sense is simply her mind going with A2’s subconscious and it keeps Mariko from thinking about why she doesn’t feel phased by losing her arm or continuing the fight. Still it’s useful to know that A2 can bleed and it’s very useful to know that A2 can’t drop this sword.
