WHAT: FAMILY TRIP TO RAINBOW LAND!

When nothing scary or weird happened on the third, Derek let out a huge sigh of relief. See? Nothing to worry about! And with this false sense of security, he decides that the next day he was going to take Noah and Sakura (which of course includes Li-Na, Xiaolang, and Leon. Derek has accepted that his family is forever connected to the Hong Kong House) to the new ausement park, RAINBOWLAND!

They all meet up at the entrance to the park and will be walking around taking in all the new sights. Derek has his camera ready to take pictures of everyone. Eventually they all get hungry and since there aren't any restuarants around, it will be a picnic on the grounds! Hopefully they will have enough food! The day will round out with riding the rides that are there and enjoying playing the carnival games.

I don't think Noah needs anyone to confront others for him. I think he'd rather do it himself.

When we were younger he needed my help. Besides, he's my little brother, I'm going to be there for him no matter what.

Well, there's a difference between supporting someone and fighting their battles for them.

[Li-Na opens the thermos of tea and pours out a cup for each of them]

But sometimes it helps being an adult. Adults are still taken more seriously than a teenager.

[Derek picks up the cup of tea and takes a sip.]

You teenagers think you can do anything adults can, but there are things only us adults can handle. You guys should enjoy your teenage years and not worry about being an adults. You only get to be a teen once.

Which is kind of unfair if you think about. Just because we're young doesn't mean we shouldn't be taken seriously.

[she laughs a little when he tells her to enjoy being a teenager]

You say that, and yet everyone else is all 'you need to think about your future' and 'what are you going to do after university.' People say 'enjoy your teen years,' and then they don't let us enjoy them.

I agree, it's not fair. But life's not fair and it's important to have to learn how to deal with the unfairness. But I also believe that adults can put too much expectations on kids and teenagers. It like adults forget that teenagers need to have fun too. You know?

That is such a defeatist way of looking at things. Why put up with the unfairness? Why not try to make things more fair?
