Uh-- [Lucy had to think about that longer than she wanted to admit, fog still chasing her thoughts.] Peach is fine.
[Fang meowed more plaintively, and much louder. He waltzed over along with Pen, and put a single paw on her ankle. He was clearly starving, his breakfast was thirty seconds later than usual.]
[Someone was talking to him! Fang responded with more trills, flicking his fluffy tail.
Two vectors curled around Lucy's shoulders, and she scooped up the cat from afar. Fang was used to this by now, and didn't complain when his paws left the ground. Her vectors carried the fluffy creature over to her arms, where the cat relaxed like he'd meant to do that all along.]
Come on, you're in the way.
[The cat trilled again. Maybe a yes, maybe a no, maybe something else in cat.]

She shook her head, a resolute toss of her horns.]
...dunno. I don't have a headache this time, though.
[Last...time, it felt like her head was trying to split in two. This time there was nothing besides a bit of early morning fuzziness.]

[Not that she thought Lucy drank much, if ever...]
Nausea? Upset stomach? Anything else?
[Concern definitely laced her tone, alongside uncertainty...]

Lucy thought for a bit, leaning on the nearest counter. Fang meowed again, more shrilly this time. She ignored him.]
No, nothing like that. Just...sleepy, I guess. Tea would be nice. Or coffee, or...whatever.
[Soup or anything with a different temperature, etc]

[She spins and taps the electric kettle's on-switch in the kitchen, then heads to the cabinet where Tons passes out some tea.]
Peach, cherry, or english breakfast?

And stops...]
...Someone's whiny today.
[Extremely whiny.]
You'll just have to wait, fuzzball.

[Pen smiled good naturedly and reached out to run a hand along his back, scritching spots she knew Fang liked. He really was a decent enough cat.]
Mr. Fluffernutters is definitely not in the mood to deal with anything, this morning.
[He may have fled when Pen and Freya had argued.]
Have you settled in okay? Really? Weirdness aside.
no subject
Yeah. Didn't even wake up at all during the night. My sleep schedule's been all weird lately.
[She wasn't even in grad school yet, why did it feel like she was up all night so frequently?]
no subject
[Night classes to catch up do that. So does fighting with your partner.]
College age foibles. Get used to it, I guess?
