Naegi really isn't the type to hang around bars. He's already learnt his lesson after Manon somehow managed to drag him into one last year and she forced him to drink till he was red in the face (he thinks he's a pretty forgiving person but damn... that's a hard one to pass), but sometimes... a drink does sound good.
Especially if you're drowning in guilt.
So when Naegi goes for his nightly visit to the local casino, rather than sitting at a poker table or the roulette, he finds himself sitting at the bar. It's a rare sight considering that he hardly ever goes near it whenever he's here but there he is... a drink in his hand and his head on the table. He can either be:
A) Not drunk (yet) because he hasn't really started drinking. He has his head down on the table because he feels so damn ashamed that he can't really lift up his head right now to look at anyone. The beer in his glass is still full and it looks like he's wallowing more than actually doing any drinking.
B) Already drunk. Luckily(?) for him, it doesn't really take much for him hit this point anyway. The one good thing about going out with Manon that night was that he knows what his limit is so he doesn't need to figure out what it'll take for him to become a little tipsy. Now the new reason why he has his head on the bar table is that he's lightheaded and red in the face. Getting up might be a mistake so he'll just stay here. And loiter, probably.

He doesn't exactly have the money to rent a hotel room (well... maybe more like he doesn't want to spend the money for one) and he doesn't want to inconvenience his friends to ask if he can crash at their place. In fact, another reason why he doesn't want to contact his friends is that he doesn't want them to find out why he needs to be out of the apartment for tonight. It's already shameful enough for him to know what he did but it might be worse if others knew, so he decides that maybe walking around the city for the night will be a good idea. The only problem is that after hours of walking, sitting down on a random bench to rest...
... causes him to knock out.
Thankfully, the crane is with him so if anything happens, it would probably wake him up. Maybe... Quite possibly... Not really. It will just stand next to him as he sleeps sitting up and wouldn't really do anything if someone were to approach so if you were to draw on his face, take his wallet (spoilers: it's empty), or steal his shoe, it won't really do anything.

There's been a lot of cases of things, even people, just disappearing without any warning so it's kind of a common occurrence these days. I think people who have been on the app for a while, like myself, aren't really fazed by it anymore.

I'm kinda messed up regardless, but on the bright side...worrying about my older brother is progress.
The App.... I'm not sure about it yet, still trying to get used to it. But I do like how I'm meeting people because of it. Memories, magic...I want those, maybe it will be useful to make me a better person. But how dare they try to become fate itself, but it seems like they fix their mistakes for the most part.

Yeah... that's the problem that most people have with Retrospec. It doesn't help that asides from Zee, none of them want to communicate with us and that they talk to us like they're our superiors or something.

And I wish I did, just one really scary memory so far.
A dude a bit taller then me, transforms into a giant elephant with three trunks. Sends me flying like I'm a rag doll...and I think I got set on fire somewhere in the air...then slammed into a stone wall, then I got up from a crater, no burns...hurt like hell though
So...I'm assuming there is some magic at work there...otherwise, other me should be dead, or at least had my spine snapping like a twig, or losing my hair...as far as I know, my hair didn't actually burn. I imagine that hurts.
Bright side to all of that is I can LITERALLY say, "I've been smacked by an elephant" and get strange looks at parties or "I've been set on fire"
