Wedding Day~
WHO: Jirou and Kenta plus everyone who comes to the wedding! (Everyone is invited even if you don't know them. No joke.)
WHERE: Recolle Square
WHEN: July 1st in the evening
WHAT: Jirou and Kenta are tying the knot and inviting everyone to celebrate that with them.
WARNINGS: Alcohol consumption. Otherwise it'll probably be kept clean.
[For those who attend the ceremony, it's a beautiful thing. It takes place at the public park in the evening so all of their friends can attend. The wedding is a simple thing really even with as lavish as all the decorations are. Because this is a simple Japanese ceremony where people can witness Kasen pour sake for the bride (Jirou) and the groom (Kenta). At Jirou's side is Fai and at Kenta's side is Derek.
The real partying begins right after and the entire reception is setup right there where the ceremony took place. Everyone is given delicious food to eat at the beautiful tables. The happy couple has really gone all out making sure this is an elegant setting for their guests to enjoy themselves. And hey...they can afford it. Which also means an open bar with plenty of alcohol. Of course there are also fun cocktails here.
Would you rather mingle or dance? Well you don't have to worry about waiting for the first dance because the couple would prefer you dance whenever you like. This is not about tradition and their friend Biffy is there to provide music for everyone. Piano for the elegant slow dances and the sound system for when it's time for something upbeat. So please don't wait to have fun and mingle with everyone there. This is a chance to celebrate.
When the handsome couple are there they are in stunning matching clothes that show off just how little they care about tradition. Both in deep red. Jirou and Kenta truly make for a stunning bride and groom that can be talked about for ages to come. It suits them too.
Also you won't have to worry about speeches at this wedding. They have decided not to have any and instead insist that all well wishes you have be written down on beautiful red papers. When you are done then tie them to the tree they have provided. That way they can read all of your love later and treasure if for years to come and no one has to sit through any of those silly speeches no one really wants to listen to.
So come and have fun with them. They're looking forward to having you.]
[ooc: As a reminder, EVERYONE is invited. Your character does NOT need to know these two in order to come. So come and enjoy yourselves and just let your characters relax in this party setting!]

OTA
When he's not with Kenta, he's usually chatting with one of his friends or refilling his drinks. Actually more often than not he's refilling his drinks. Yep. For sure. Still, he can be convinced to do dances with people and he's even seen at one point doing a dance with both his mother and his father at the same time. Because he loves them and why the hell wouldn't he?
So if you want to come say hello to the blushing (because he's so drunk) bride then feel free! He's all here for it.
Of course he's also happy to give drink recommendations too. Or make you drinks. Because more than once he can be found behind the bar mixing them just to make sure that they have the perfect amount of alcohol to them. Basically? Way too much for a normal person.
But hey, he's happy so let him drink?]
no subject
— and then decides that he'll go ahead and play Drink Russian Roulette, anyway. ]
I'll take whatever you recommend.
no subject
[He taps his lips as he considers the drinks. Obviously his go to is sake. But he wants to do something special here. So, he starts working the alcohol and mixing with expert ease until...
...he slides over the result. Don't worry, honey. It'll be delicious and he even was good about the alcohol content.]
Try this!

When they get to the dance floor, he gives him a kiss before they start.]

In fact, he'll just slump dramatically over the bar (no matter that he's still wearing a dress, oh well), as if he's wasting away, and then peek up through the veil of his hair to smile his best friend.]
Something sweet please!
no subject
Which means of course he's going to make him something sweet. And extra boozy. Gathering everything he needs, he starts mixing with the ease of a practiced bartender despite the fact that he's never held the job.]
I can do something sweet for you!
[And he sliiiiides over a nice purple cocktail. It's sweet and fruity but definitely boozy. What's it called you might ask?]
I call it the Jirou.
OTA
He definitely didn't cry at the ceremony! Okay, maybe he did, but he did it quietly. What? It was just so beautiful! Why wouldn't you cry getting to see two people who so obviously love each other declare it such a grand and public manner?
He has himself together for the festivities after of course. No more tears, now it's time to celebrate!
When the music plays he will happily make his way to the dance floor. The more upbeat tuns he'll twirl and go about by himself, more energetic the more drunk he got. The slow dances he tended to keep off the floor, though, unless he was specifically asked by someone. Usually he uses this time to get and find some treats to snack on, clearly drawn towards the sweets more than anything else. Hopefully nothing has nuts in it due to his allergy, which gets a bit harder to pay attention to as he imbibes more alcohol.
But, as he gets more drunk, the more willing he is to really show off. Well, not that he wouldn't have before, but he has far less issues about it now. Showing off being performing flips or handstands and other feats of gymnastic skill for entertainment. As for how graceful he is? Surprisingly, he manages despite his inebriation, though those moments of clarity and concentration don't last to very longer the more the night goes on.
Between dancing, eating, drinking, and showing off, though, Yogi can just be found sitting quietly, admiring everyone with stars in his eyes. It's that kind of night, after all. ]
no subject
It was hard to believe the moment had finally came, the whole reason Jirou had edged Kasen and Yogi closer together, so they both could have a date for the wedding. It seemed things had moved along so quickly, or maybe they hadn't at all, but the fondness Kasen looked at Yogi with had definitely grown to something so much more sincerely amorous when he approached the other after having changed. Well, amorousness and genuine delight at just how good of a dancer he was. Well he HAD mentioned gymnastics in the past...-
You're a dynamo out there. -He laughed.- I could hardly keep up with that kind of thing.
no subject
Now he spotted him from the dance floor and hurried over, pausing in a half-step to admire the way the other looked in the summer kimono. God, he was gorgeous. He stopped in front of him, flushing from dancing, giving out a shy giggle at the compliment. ]
I guess it's because I'm used to the beats from my floor routines.
[ He didn't get to use them in actual competition, but he found the beats helped him memorize the routines early on. ]
You looked great, earlier, with Jirou and Kenta. You look great now too! The traditional style really suits you.

The night has been great! And I've met her once before. I'm surprised I didn't just die on the spot. She complimented my styling.
[ He blushed a blush of pure joy. ]

OTA
Huge gatherings put him ill at ease in general, but Jirou deserved to have the big party he dreamed of for his wedding, and so Kenta had definitely put his mind onto making an effort to be more social. he's not necessarily always succeeding at it, but he's certainly doing his best, accepting congratulations with a smile, telling people thank you for coming, and generally being more approachable than usual.
Every once in a while, he and Jirou are on the dance floor together whenever he manages to pry his new husband off from the bar for a private moment.
Or you might find him closer to the wish tree, admiring the papers being put there. Or sitting at a table with a drink and some food.
When it gets to be really too much, he'll go back inside the venue for a little while, to take a breather, but for shorter times than he usually would.
If you're looking out, you might notice there are some Japanese men in dark suits spread out all throughout the crowd. they'll keep things from becoming too rowdy in general (and stop you if you try to take a picture of Kenta with your cell phone).]

[Well, he still has to call his father and tell him... since he's asked his men not to do it. He should be the one to announce it.
Oh, look... there are shining sakura petals now floating around Kenta, catching some of the light. For once, he doesn't seem to mind the random flower poofing, too.]

Congratulations. [ Warm and honest. ] And also on pulling of this whole beautiful occasion.

He hasn't worn a suit in ages but here he is. Of course he messes with the tie now and then, finding he definitely prefers jeans and a simple shirt these days. At least he knows they probably won't be doing anything like this for his own wedding. Geez.
But he only somewhat focuses on that. For the most part people can find him hovering near where Fai is. Why? Because two of the kids suddenly are living elsewhere and have different backgrounds for some reason. Sure one of the kids is back but that doesn't change the fact that two are gone now. It's a weird ass situation and he knows it's doing no good for Fai's emotional state even if Fai does want to be here to support Jirou.
Which means you can talk to this anti-social guy here but just know that if it looks like his fiance needs him then he's ditching you without hesitation.]

And although he's a little more clingy than usual with Iwai (how can anyone tell though?) he even manages to give his fiance a bit of space here and there, chatting with a few of the people he knows, or venturing over to the refreshments table for drinks or snacks. At the moment he's heading back toward Iwai with two little plates of cake, although instead of taking them right to him, he slides them onto the edge of the nearby table and sneaks around behind him, slipping his arms around Iwai's waist and resting his chin on his shoulder.]
Have I mentioned how great you look in this suit?
[He has. About twenty times already.]

... The smells of everyone's blood around her means she's basically flushed the whole time and might like embarrassed even beyond how emotional she might have gotten at the ceremony and some wrinkles are showing around her face and eyes due to not drinking blood in too long, but she's here. She can't really eat or drink anything much, but she's politely sipping tea or water while she's here and she's more than down to dance with anyone if you want to dance with the smiling 5' woman.
Going with the color scheme of the night, even if she didn't think she looked that good in red in general, she did her best to make the red dress look okay with her red eyes and purple hair. Retrospec changes, what're you going to do. Ah well.
She'll enjoy the night. ]
