[OPEN]
WHO: Yin & whomever!
WHERE: All about town more-or-less
WHEN: All throughout the month
WHAT: (not) making a list and (not) checking it twice
WARNINGS: None yet but that could change depending on what topics come up
((OOC: here's a catch-all for Yin this month completing tasks from Zee. the list isn't exclusive but the most likely things she'll do without hesitation - or encouragement tbh - and you can either leave a top level of your own, or just put in a blank tag/prompt and I'll tag back with what you'd like! you can contact me via PM or
simplypip if you want to plot deeper. o/))
CHATA:
-Help someone with their grocery shopping. [If someone needs a literal hand, sure.]
-Donate items to the orphanage. [Not that she has much to give.]
-Attend to the animals at the animal shelter and hold an adoption drive. [Dogs? Dogs.]
-Reorganize Freshens and move items to different levels of the store. [No one said she had to be good at this.]
VIEA: [She lives here so might as well get to know her neighbors better, right?]
-Do yardwork for a neighbor. [What do you mean those aren't weeds? Oops.]
-Egg someone's house. [Easily done.]
-Do something nice for your neighbor like give them flowers or bake them cookies. [Sure, but they're not edibles.]
ENPRISE:
-Analyze your dreams/nightmares with at least one other person. [You must be a level 5 friend to unlock her tragic backstory.]
-Engage in a duel of your choice with someone. [Plastic lightsaber battle in the middle of a toy store.]
-Pamper someone. Anyone. Any way you can think of. [Worst massage ever, or best?]
TISSE:
-Complete the Big Bang Burger challenge (or try, anyway.) [Food regret is the best kind of regret.]
-Steal someone's coffee from the pick-up counter at a coffee shop. [Yoink!]
-Write a poem about your feelings and share it with someone. [Expect puns and poor rhymes.]
-Buy someone a drink...anyone...they can even be underaged. [At least have a fake ID though.]

for Vera
or until Vera answers her damn door. ]
no subject
The heiress practically kicks open her door as she stomps outside, rapier tightly in her hand.]
Who the fuck is doing that?
no subject
no subject
Yin, what the fuck...
[She steps towards her, slowly, eyes never leaving Yin's face. As she approaches, however, it becomes clear that her expression is no longer of anger, but of relief, further exemplified as she throws herself around the taller girl's shoulders in a long, tight embrace.]
no subject
when the weight of the shorter woman drags her downward, Yin staggers and braces herself with her arm around her waist. ] Uh, are you okay?
[ because that is not the normal reaction to someone vandalizing one's property. ]
no subject
You're really here. [Her voice is low, quiet, almost mumbled into the taller girl's neck.] You remember me.
no subject
[ ... ] I mean that in a really obnoxious way. [ saved. ]
no subject
...You're such an ass.
no subject
no subject
[But she's been hugging her for way too long at this point, so she'll just start to pull away, still leaving her hands draped on Yin's shoulders.]
Come inside?
no subject
[ she proudly gestured to the window. ] I call it "eat the rich".
[ there was a brief pause. ] It's a metaphor.
no subject
[She turns back to her window, then back to Yin.]
You can either wash that now, or before you leave, but it's getting washed.
[She turns towards the door to the staircase downstairs. She hadn't quite realized the lock was still broken, but it's very clear the desk downstairs didn't let her up because she hadn't received any notice.]
I'm going to get the stairs fixed too.
no subject
[ she's pushing her luck today, as always. ]
no subject
It's a major security risk. You want to let just anyone sneak up to my apartment, where I live all alone? I thought we were friends.
[See? Two can play this game.]
What happened to your arm anyway? Please tell me you didn't sell it.
no subject
she stepped over and bent down to pick up and inspect Vera's rapier. ] Looks like you can handle living on your own. Fancy.
no subject
[Vera isn't sure to be more angry or concerned. Yin's pride has always been a problem, not that she's one to talk, but she had at least hoped that her friend could talk to her about financial problems.]
...Be really careful with that. The stuff inside is super explosive.
no subject
[ Yin put her gaze back on the weapon, turning it this way and that. ] Explosive, huh. Figures.
no subject
...And what do you mean, "figures"?
no subject
no subject
[She had expected that to be some kind of insult, but it had to be more memory nonsense again.
She wishes it was an insult.]
Yeah, it... belonged to Wei-- the other me.
[Don't say her name. Don't acknowledge she was real.]
no subject
for an instant, when she moves the hilt from one side of her face to another, covering one eye and then the other, Vera's face takes on some kind of subtle difference. Yin can't explain it, but she's seen that look before. not here. not in this life.
Yin blinked, swallowed something in her throat, and then lowered the weapon. ] So did my arm. Both of 'em.
[ she scowled and offered the sword back to Vera. ] You fight any giant robots with it lately?
no subject
No... just a lot of weird demon creatures. And... some people.

It's not magic, as far as I can tell, even if it kind of looks like it. I can utilize the substance in my sword to augment my abilities, so there must be some level of science behind it.
