[When Kenta messaged with a date and time, Zephyr arrives at the dojo about an hour early. Mostly so he can change into his kendogi and hakama and get some practice in with a shinai. He's still getting used to the new sword skills, which isn't saying much considering how difficult Masamune is to wield to begin with. It would probably help to just have someone else with a ridiculous sword to talk to.

But he'll work his way up, starting with striking practice.]

[Kenta makes it a little early, so he'll have time to change as well. he'd been sent the address so it's easy to get in, but he would like to at least say hello before he disappears in the locker room. He's carrying the massive sword in one hand and his bag with clothing in the other, and his shinai and bokken in a transport bag on his back.

He pokes his head inside the dojo.]

Hi. I hope I'm not late. Thank you for having me.

[He shifts his focus and looks up, warming up to a nod and a smile.]

No. You're early, actually. [He lowers the shinai and gestures in welcome] Make yourself at home.

Thank you. I will change and be right out.

[And off he goes, to get into his own practice clothes. Then he picks up the shinai, the bokken and the sword and heads out to the dojo itself.

He bows before stepping in, then gives another bow to Zephyr.]

You wanted to have a look at my sword, didn't you?

[He puts down the bokken and shinai, and holds the sword vertically next to himself. This way, it's easy to see that it's taller than Kenta himself, and Kenta is already 6'5.]

[Zephyr picks out his own shinai and bokken. His own sword sits against the wall on a pedestal that formerly housed a decorative katana.

When Kenta returns, he returns the bow and steps forward to marvel at Kenta's odachi, letting his gaze trail up to where it ends. Definitely much taller than Masamune]

It's a beautiful odachi.

[Kenta picks it up so he can unsheathe it and show the blade. It looks absolutely perfect from tip to hilt, with no noticeable defects.]

I have something to confess regarding the reason why I asked you not to touch it.I told you it was an antique, and it's true, but... there is another reason.

That sword is actually me. Or I am the sword.

[It's weird to explain the concept to someone not familiar with it.]
