[open] is it even a yard sale if they have no yard?
WHO: The Wolf Family + You!
WHERE: Their apartment parking lot
WHEN: 4/1
WHAT: Yard Sale!
WARNINGS: None! Bigby and Jade will be tagging in with top-levels, so if you want to interact in that thread, go for it or just leave who you want to tag in your subject line!

[ Bright and early on Saturday morning, the apartment in which the Wolf family will call home for only another week will be quite destination. Outside in the parking lot, since no yard could be found among the cement, there rests an assortment of items all labeled with a bright orange price tag. From telescopes to kitchenware, to golf clubs and particularly specific child chairs... there's a lot of stuff to choose and browse from.
Elizabeth can be seen manning a little plastic table with a money tin with a cooler full of water bottles.
There were flyers put up around town the past week and signs pointing to the complex for around half a mile. Or, y'know, you could have been invited personally.
Here's a list of all of the items for sale. Please drag this family.

The delight on his face, though, wavers when he passes by the Minion pile, averting his eyes, and he does the same turning away from the pillows. ]
Are these Jade's? [ Can she sleep in a room with a dozen eyes on her? She had no problem when apples and oranges suddenly sprouted eyes, so maybe her strength of will comes from familiarity. ]

I'd say they're my husbands but that would be a little creepy. [ A pause. ] Alright, a lot creepy.
[ She locks her phone, tucking it into her pocket with a smile. ]
Er - but, yes, they were. Are you a friend of hers?

For the moment, however, she had not reached the stage of haggling. No, she had to decide she wanted it first. These garage sales were always something of a new thing to her, something she didn't do enough. Why hurry?]

Professor, off the top of your head, do you know how much the film would cost if I wanted to buy more?
no subject
I got that when I was in college — but never had the time to use it. There's online stores that carry the film, probably around 15 or 20 for a pack of 10. It's pricey, but it's fun.

[The emoji pillows... He's looking at the emoji pillows because he's a walking meme and he needs to be stopped. But they are kind of cute, and they look very soft! He holds up the kissy-face one.]
D'you think this would make a good joke gift?

[ THE PILLOWS WERE FOR JADE'S BIRTHDAY A FEW YEARS BACK. ]
They're cute enough to have on your bed if you're a teen, right?

Right now, though, he is still contemplating whether the bookcase is worth it or not.]

It's chestnut!

Solid and sturdy, but it's thin enough where you don't need a truck to transport.

Something about them unnerves her. She can't quite put her finger on it. Perhaps it's the way they chatter to themselves in a cursed tongue, chanting about bananas. Then again, they are stated to serve the biggest villain available at any one time. Could these buffoonish yellow creatures really be a form of hellish demon, and thus, one of her peers in darkness?
She decides against it, and shuffles noticeably away to avoid 'eye contact' with their gormless smiles. ]
no subject
in fact, that's why she picks it up and holds it out, so that ranko is forced to stare into it's dead, friendly and yellow gaze. ]

...Hold on a second. ]
Emoji pillows? People actually buy those?
[ Joke’s on you, he’s actually going to grab the one with the sunglasses and hold onto that sucker while he waits for mom. Then the telescopes catch his eye and he zooms right over. ]
How much can you actually see with this thing? I used to have a small one but the magnification on it wasn’t that great.
no subject
Well, the cheaper one isn't going to do much. They're more plastic than some press on nails. But these - [ She motions to the second set. ] Those are a SkyQuest X2 - a decent zoom, but with the lights in the city, you'll have to go closer to the beach to really notice anything past the brighter stars. Then? It's pretty good for the price.
[ A pause. ]
Nice for camping trips, I can confirm.

Hey, Mrs. Wolf? Do you have any paper I can borrow? I'd like to try this out.
no subject
Oh! I'm glad you of all people are taking an interest in that.
[ She says fondly. Moving between tables, she pulls out a notebook paper she's been writing down her math on for the day. Ripping out a page, she hands it over. ]

Elizabeth finished selling the golf clubs that no one really used - even haggled to keep her price firm! So, when Yato calls out, she counts the cash in her hand and walks over. ]
It's a lot smaller than it looks.
[ Lifting the lid, it shows to be around a medium size cooker. ]
I've gotten better at food prep so when we cook, we cook larger meals to plan throughout the week too. It just was too small to really make anything past the 2nd day.
[ Points to the options. ]
There's a lot of different options, though. So... it's nice.

here comes Bigby hauling out a pet project of his own ― a pair of boots belonging to a certain Professor of Dickish Origins with an abnormality protruding from the calves of each. it seems to be an assortment of flowers that have seen far better days, sagging over the edges sadly as if they haven't seen proper attention since they have been planted.
they're dropped ceremoniously onto an open space after something has been sold, causing the table holding the weight to shake. Bigby looks around and makes eye contact with the nearest person, whether it's his wife, daughter, friend, stranger or Professor of Dickish Origins himself. without even flinching, he points down to the pitiful boots that were once considered ~sexy~ and speaks: ]
Name your price.

But all she does is look back and forth between Bigby and the boots.
Reach into her purse.

[ The emoji pillows, that is. They're also a bit amusing, but yeah, still cute. Oh. He should buy the line face one, and the smirk (that is a smirk, right?) ones. For Chuuya and Hitori. He'd like one for himself too but he doesn't know which one. After picking out the two first ones though, he's distracted. ]
What's this mascot?

[So of course, there she was, browsing through the table, but she kept coming back to the pile of woman's clothing, and she didn't seem to know why. She was pretty sure they were Mrs. Wolf's, they matched her style, and yet she felt a weird pull to them.]
[But it wasn't her style at all. And yet there she was, for probably the fourth time since she had gotten there, picking up one of the shirts and looking it over.]
