[OTA]
Noctis has a small bit of experience driving boats; it isn't too hard based off of what his father had taught him as a child. And so they're able to set off with ease. Out on the open water. Once they've found a place to set the anchor, it's time to get to fishing! Noctis wastes absolutely no time in getting himself set up in a chair, setting up his bait on his trusty fishing rod. Feel free to join in! ]

Eventually, he'll come find Noctis while he's fishing. ]
Okay, I'm fucking impressed.

I know what I’m about.
[ He’ll admit to having expensive taste.
However, he stops, squinting as he looks towards Timcampy while pointing. ]
Uh...
[ He thinks Noah hasn’t noticed it. ]

Do you ever catch anything?
no subject
Most of the time. It’s all about location and bait.
Definitely have better chances on open sea.

Twenty minutes of silence before it's broken by a very loud meow coming from Akira's bag. He doesn't react, but... Yes. There's another meow not too long after. ]

Eventually, that meow gets his attention. ]
Mm?
[ And then another. Noctis blinks, tilting his head at the bag. ]

[Ardyn's wandered next to Noctis, curious and wanting to say hello. He squints a little against the sun, the brighteness of it reflected off the water.]
Catch anything?

Are there sharks here? Jellyfish? I hope the app doesn't send us a monster to drag the whole boat under with its tentacles. It would take awhile to swim back to shore.

GAMES (uno!!) - OTA
Who wants to play UNO!?
no subject
Uno? You’re just asking for this to turn into a murder boat.
[ He smirks, holding his hand out for his deck. ]
I’m game.

OTA
[let's have a fun and relaxing vacation! said his boyfriend. prompto misses land.]
d.
[Prompto didn't look so good. Cloud had never seen him this miserable, not in all the time he'd spent around Prompto when his stomach was bothering him. The worst he usually got was a bit tired looking and slightly dizzy, it was never enough to put a damper on his cheerful disposition. This must be pretty serious. Cloud reached out, tentatively, to rest a hand on Prompto's shoulder.]

[ Noctis is coming back inside from sitting on the deck, smelling of the outdoors and looking pretty happy about it. But no vacation is enjoyable without his partner in crime. He lets himself fall into an adjacent lounge chair, smiling as he playfully pats at Prompto’s knee. ]

He does sneak into the kitchen out of curiosity. Whether Prompto notices or not, Akira is shadowing him and watching carefully, like a cat. ]
It Is Time
Now it's just a matter of actually finding Prompto to let him know Ignis has made dinner. He's not surprised to see him not out on the deck, but when he heads inside, he's confused to see a body curled up on the couch. There's tufted blond hair, a face buried into a cushion.
Ignis walks over a little faster.]
Prompto? Is something the matter?
( ota )
If you happen upon him there, he'll be wearing a simple black apron, and with a smile he'll gladly ask:]
Can I prepare anything for you?
[Or, he'll be making a sorry attempt at trying to figure out how to prepare the fish Noct has caught. Because. He's never cooked fish before. Please help him.]
[And before you ask, yes, there's alcohol. But you have to go through Ignis to get it.]
no subject
Noctis perks a brow as he approaches the fridge, opening it to obtain his first beer. ]
I’m good.
... Really committing to the cooking thing now, huh?
[ He knows Ignis has always enjoyed it to an extent, but preparing for a party? A bit beyond his usual thing. He cracks open his beer, looking over the spoils. ]

Cloud sticks his head in the kitchen.]
Hey, Noct just caught another fish. Prompto said you're going to cook it. Do you want me to bring... ?
[The carnage laid out in front of Ignis on the counter looks like it's being slowly tortured to death instead of being cleaned for cooking. No, the torture is definitely post-mortem. Cloud tilts his head a little at the strange macabre scene.]
Uhh... What are you doing...?

she can be found a. sitting and watching the water under one of the umbrellas, b. inside to pass the time with a peculiar expression on her face (she's going to positively strangle her coworkers) or c. where she can sit on deck and let only her feet dangle in the water.
summer is going to be a killer, she can feel it in the air.]
a
Maybe.
But eventually he does wander out, just to see what Grell has been up to. He finds her nicely situated under an umbrella near the water, and he strides on over with a grin.]
You don't think it's too hot to be out here?

With a glass of water in hand, Ignis makes another round, and this time he decides to pass through the seated area with the umbrellas. It's there that he finds someone sitting by themselves, and so he approaches.]
Excuse me, Miss. I don't mean to be a bother, but could I retrieve anything for you?

[Closed to Ignis]
It’s a shocker that he hasn’t taken a nap yet. Prompto is certainly down for the count by now, snoring away in one of the bedrooms of the boat. Yet here is Noctis, wide awake and just slightly buzzed when he approaches Ignis with a sloppy smirk and a bottle of wine. He wiggles it at him in the kitchen, just as Ignis finishes cleaning up. ]
Sit out on the deck? I’ve got two of these.
no subject
He scrubs and cleans the kitchin thoroughly, almost to exhaustion. He may very well just call it a night and drag himself off to bed, but it's the appearance of a figure in the doorway that has him pausing right as he closes up the fridge and tosses a towel over to the sink.
Walking over to the counter, Ignis picks up his glasses and puts them back on only to frown slightly with a raise of his eyebrow.]
Dare I ask if you've begun to empty the contents of either without me? [Yet he's already opening up the cabinets to retrieve two glasses for them.
No, he's not drinking straight out of the bottle. The day hasn't been that bad.]
