OOC: This log will just be a place where I can put in all the event threads for my characters! Since I won't be putting up a top-level, I will be starting some threads in here so I can have all my event threads in one general place. Feel free to PM me or reach me at northpaws if you'd like to do something in regards to the event or if you'd like any other threads! This is just a catch-all post for all the logs/threads I might have, without spamming the comm and to keep all of my three characters' threads in one post.

[As she seems familiar to him, so to does he seem familiar to her, but she can't think of why. Again, she remembers things but faint, as if a dream. She thinks she knows him. She doesn't know how.] Yes, that's something of an understatement. [She pauses.] Is "nothing" a strange thing to eat? Perhaps something bland like bread would be all right.

Perhaps but I don't particularly want to ruin my chances of regaining back my memories and name. After all, if I make a mistake, I won't be able to restart until the next day.

[ it sounds easy but it's pretty hard when you have to wait until a new day to just restart. it would be very frustrating to nearly succeed and then mess up when you eat something that falls under the "strange" category. asides from that, kenpachi has been spending this entire time going through whatever memories he does have left and although he can't get any memories of just specifically this person before him, he thinks he has at least seen her once or twice in his memories so maybe he should just come out and ask her bluntly if she also has these memories ]

... I know that we've both lost our memories but would you happen to remember anything about me? In a different life?

[ he has no idea if that even makes sense but he'll be willing to explain if not ]

[Naoto goes very still at the question. So it's not just her.

She's working out what to say, how much to let on, and eventually nods, very slowly.] ...I think so.

I feel that I know you, but it's faint-- like a dream.

Do you, then...?

[ he nods as well ]

... I don't have any specific memories of solely you but I think you were in some of them.

[ he then brings up a hand to his chin, thinking hard and going through the memories he does have. it's not particularly easy, especially when he does have so many and she has always been part of the background or apart of a bigger group, but he tries anyway ]

A boy with short brown hair and headphones, a girl with long black hair and a red headband, a girl with short brown hair and green jacket, a boy with bleached hair and scar on his forehead, a girl with two red pigtails and pink earrings, and a large bear-like mascot costume.

[ he speaks slowly and with pauses in between each person he brings up, trying to remember their features and details ]

Do you remember anyone who matches those descriptions?

[She listens to him as he speaks. Even with her memories gone, she's still a fairly stoic, hard-to-read person, but as he describes person after person, she remembers-- --or rather, she remembers that she remembers, though like him, the faces are shrouded, impossible to remember. And Naoto's eyes widen as he describes them one by one. When he's done, the only thing she does is give a small nod.] Yes, all of them. Every single one. I must know you then. That can't possibly be a coincidence, and-- [A pause] --there was a murder.
