OOC: This log will just be a place where I can put in all the event threads for my characters! Since I won't be putting up a top-level, I will be starting some threads in here so I can have all my event threads in one general place. Feel free to PM me or reach me at northpaws if you'd like to do something in regards to the event or if you'd like any other threads! This is just a catch-all post for all the logs/threads I might have, without spamming the comm and to keep all of my three characters' threads in one post.

[ naegi looks back at the balcony. he's cleared out a good chunk of the mail there, making multiple trips back and forth, but by now... it has piled up again. if they open the door, it'd probably come spilling in ]

There was only maybe an armful left when I closed the door but I think it's probably three or four more armfuls now...

[ so much for sitting outside on the balcony to get some fresh air and relax... naegi turns his focus back on the mail and digs through it once more ]

Hey, here's one for Kyouko. I'll drop by later to give her that. [ he sets it aside before digging through once more and picking up another letter that has daisuke's name on it ] Aaaand... this one's for you!

[ he holds it out for daisuke ]

[ Daisuke's face seems a lot happier when the letter seems to be addressed to him. He takes it from Naegi's hand and sees that it's from his parents. Finally. But he'll open it later. He goes over to the other side of the letter heap to help Naegi organize the letters. He's pretty familiar with the city by now and combined with his knowledge and gopher skills he acquired at work, he's gotten pretty good at sorting papers.

The letters have met their match as Daisuke starts sorting them out per area.

[ naegi starts doing the same, sorting out the letters and small packages by area, placing them on the living room floor. he occasionally pulls out his phone to check out some of the areas that he's not familiar with before putting them in their respective piles. after a bit of time and they're done... ]

All right, I think that's everything. I can grab my backpack and messenger bag, put as many as I can and try to deliver some.

[ maybe he can add letter carrier experience on his resume after this and see if he can get hired by usps for practically doing their jobs ]

Okay, I'll do that too.

[ Daisuke goes to his room to get out his school messenger bag. Since he usually carries art supplies inside, all these letters should be able to fit. He looks over at the heap though and gets out several rubber bands and ties bundles per area. ]

... This is going to be a lot of work, but I'm sure they'll be happy once they see that their letter finally arrived!

[optimistical]

[ naegi runs off to grab both of his bags, trying to think of this like those people who try to bring in all of their grocery bags at once. less trips to make to bring in everything so he's just going to carry as many things as possible! it's going to kill his shoulders later though... ]

Yeah, I think so as well! Let's go deliver the mail for Kyouko and Kaguya first before we head out.

[ since they're right next doors ]

Does Wiz want to come along? Get some fresh air?

[ the crane can come as well, he GUESSES ]

[ As if on cue, Wiz comes to the living room and hops on top of Daisuke's bag. Daisuke smiles at this and Wiz coos happily. Fresh air!! Away from the demon crane! Or so he hopes, but the crane is coming. He's gonna look away.

Daisuke doesn't notice this though and looks ready to go out. ]

Let's head off then! Maybe we can make it a game--

[ One of the stray letters that fell to the ground suddenly has teeth, and Daisuke's eyes widen at the sight. What the fuck.What the fuck. ]

[ the demon crane is going to come and it's going to be a nightmare. it's actually been standing in the corner of the living room the entire time and naegi has to motion it over with his hand for it to move a bit closer. however, the letter falls and naegi automatically responses to bending down to pick it up without thinking. he already is kneeling down and has his hand outstretched before he actually looks at it and...]

Uh... does that letter have tee--

[ and then right then, the letter opens its mightly jaws(?) and jumps straight to bite naegi's hand ]

--aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA!

[ Naegi is in danger! You know what that means. It means Daisuke offers his ridiculous reflexes in an attempt to save him.. but really, all he does is quickly smack the letter away from Naegi's hand as if his own hand is a flyswatter. ]

Wait a minute--

[ He digs through his bag in another zipper-closed pocket and gets out an ordinary dagger (thanks lava hell) to pin the teethy letter on the floor. Sorry he stabbed into the carpet. ]
