Yukiko had suggested that her little team spend a few days practicing working together as a unit, intending it to be something casual where they all went out and spent some time getting to know one another. Unfortunately when they'd arrived, things had gotten a little out of hand. The wave, the restoration efforts, and all the subsequent problems that came made for an exciting time. Probably a little too exciting...

[It's not an incredibly far trip to the beach, but Yukiko definitely wants to do it all together. So, piled in the Mystery Wagon, she takes the whole gang down. This top level is for travel related shenanigans.]

[Mystery Wagon made it seem so top secret. Michel loved it. He was in the back just busy tapping way on his phone when he let out a scream that would have probably awoken up the dead.]

HOLY SHIT! 4 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS BABY!!!!!

[ This isn't Yosuke's first ride in the Mystery Mobile, but it has been a while, so it's nice to be back. That being said...

[He holds up the phone as it plays a victory theme then shows Yosuke his statistics page.]

I've passed the threshold for 4 million! I didn't think it would happen until a few more weeks, I'm just...ahhh! Ahhh!!

[He has to hold myself back, he told his fans and his chatroom that he'd be gone for a day...he can't just pop in for this he knows he won't be able to concentrate on the mission clearly.]

[The time here had been pretty intense but let it be known that Michel wasn't complaining so far, even as his hair began to drop from the sweat (inside of his bubble). He looked towards someone else, trying to smile, but the lack energy creeping up on him.]

[Yukiko's heading to him in a flash, her Persona streaming behind her.]

[Sorry he's just too excited about the prospect. Michel is still pretty knew at Persona usage, after all.]

[Yukiko directs her Persona towards where Eikichi had been working, and then slips up beside it, ready to heave.]

Rescue Efforts a little later

[Well he isn't going to question it for now. Once the dam was gone, everything would be fixed! It feels rather pleasant, actually! In fact as the hours go on, he doesn't seem to care or even notice that his arms have started to grow a number of scales. Or when he does, he seems to just chalk it to a side effect that will SURELY disappear once this is over.

But why would he?

At some point his shoes are discarded, as his feet became more webbed to match his hands. See? Pretty useful actually. Honestly, it was the bubble itself that was starting to annoy him. Maybe he should pop it?]

Does the bubble make my head look big?

[Or maybe someone should come smack some sense into him.]

[ The bubble thing is weird, super weird, though Yosuke appreciates the practical effects in not letting him drown. Yeah, that part is really nice, but the longer they're in town, the more Yosuke just wants to leave and remember how nice his own bed (well, Yu's bed) is. So the faster the work, the quicker they can leave. ]

...The bubble makes everyone's heads look big.

[ But he can't help but notice... ]

[He looks down and just laughs.]

Bro I have no idea, but suddenly I'm able to swim better. I guess it was a power from back home or something.

[Or that's what he tells himself. It's not helping this spiral into stupidity. He flashes him a grin and...wait are those pointed teeth to tear into fish and are those scales all over his body? Uhh...]

From back home, huh...

[ You know what Yosuke hates? Fish. He really doesn't like fish. So you can imagine what it's like underwater for someone who hates fish.

And one of his buddies with...fishy things? ]

No way. That's super gross. You should get that looked at.

[ He cringes. ]

[give her a minute, she's staring in wonder when she realizes what she's doing. But then, a villager shoves some rubble in her hands and she pauses again, looking towards the nearest person]

... This doesn't seem to be the most efficient way to handle this.

It isn't.

[But, as Yukiko's handed a stone of her own, she hefts it over her shoulder.]

But short of using Personas, I can't think of a better way? Have you got any ideas.

[Y'know, given that a wheelbarrow isn't going to work underwater.]

A net would work better, I think.

There should be at least one somewhere around her.

Fishing village, so you'd think.

[Frown...]

Maybe...hey isn't that a fishing supply store? Go check there, and I'll see if there's one in that sunken boat.

[Makoto considers that and glances around.]

Smart idea-- we might be able to use some sort of pulley system on the boat to leverage larger nets.

[still, she's got her work cut out for her.]

[With that, Yukiko heads off towards the boat to go rummaging...]

[when she comes back, she has a pretty decently sized net. At the very least, they should be able to pull more than one big chunk of debris at a time.

[Yukiko heads back carrying several bits of rope, on her own.]

Great! I got some rigging, too. I think we can work out some sort of hauling system with the nets. How are you with knots?

[she considers for a moment.]

Decent, but definitely not to the level that you would need for a ship-worthy knot. I might be able to reverse engineer, though, if I can see an existing knot.

We don't need anything that extreme I think.

[At least, she doesn't think so.]

Do you have cell service? we could look there.

If I can get to the surface, yes.

I should, anyway... Truthfully, I haven't checked.

Well then we can worry about that later. I can do a basic slip knot.

[Which she will start to do now, working on catching one of the pulleys.]

Wrap up the mess with the net, then we'll tie it off.

Overnight/Party Games

[Getting a room isn't exactly difficult, given the villager's desire for outside help. The gang gets put up in a decent little place, private rooms all adjoining a central common area. It's weird but hey, a chance for some late night party games...]
