WHAT: talking about the lady club
WARNINGS: idk maybe a swear word or two but probably nothing major?

[ thalia spends a fair amount of time at cabin 11. it isn't because of the alcohol, although she'll drink when she doesn't have school or an early shift the next day to worry about (or have just one glass of something) but it's more because of, you know, the owner. her best friend is here a lot so thalia just ends up here a lot. she's a familiar face with a familiar chair and she notices things that happen at the bar.

specifically she tends to pay attention when people put up new notices on the bulletin board full of a variety of flyers for lots of different sorts of things (she saw a knitting flyer there, once) and since thalia's passing by on her way back from the ladies' room while liz pins up a new paper, she nosily takes a look over liz's shoulder. ]

I — [ She's had enough drinks to have small talks with Luke. Maybe not on the same level as Bigby since he's the definition of a regular here but — ] I didn't know he had a little sister.

But. I can see it.

[ There's a small smile. ]

He's got the whole snarkiness of an older brother, but you know he means well. Well-ish.

I think even younger brothers are snarky. It has to be a brotherly thing? Idiots who you can't help but love.

[ not that she is speaking from experience here or anything ]

Good intentions falling a bit short. [ SHE WOULDN'T KNOW, but. Ultimately, she knows Luke would mean well. As much as he can. He did show ethic to get this place running in such a short amount of time. ] Guy thing, which is why I wanted this club, I guess? Actually have competent people enjoying activities.

Less stress.

That's a pretty damn good reason, considering...well, boys.

[ she frowns a little. actually, this is...all seeming familiar. wasn't she in a club like this before? ]

Boys never change, so it's nice that women can just get away. Less about shopping and being subservient housewife and more independent woman.

[ But, she notices Thalia's change. ]

Is something the matter?

No, I just had a...weird thought. This seemed familiar for a second.

[ god, she hates those memories. ]

[ She's definitely perking a brow. ]

Lemme guess, there's another women's club somewhere and I possibly could be in trouble for a lawsuit?

[ Teasing, mainly to preserve Thalia's sanity if she didn't feel like talking about it. ]

I mean, there might have been. I kind of doubt there is around here - it's just...
