[OPEN] What's my age again?
WHO: Sora and Shiori Pu'uwai, and all those who wish to wish them a Happy Birthday!
WHERE: The Pu'uwai household
WHEN: Afternoon of March 28th
WHAT: Sora and Shiori's 18th Birthday Party!!!
WARNINGS: None!
I. An Unexpected Party
Despite only announcing the party that day, the party is in full swing and has a ton of attendants, ranging in age from middle schoolers to full grown adults. Mrs. Pu'uwai can't help but wonder how her boys made such a variety of friends, but as always, she takes it all in stride, welcoming everyone with a warm smile and a pleasant demeanor into their home. Upon being ushered in, you'll be allowed to roam as you please. It seems like there's a lot going on for what was supposed to be a 'small party'.
You'll find people mingling all over the house, taking over the couch, sitting on the floor, and spilling into the backyard. Why not say hi to a few of them? After all, you're all friends with either Sora or Shiori, right? A friend of a friend is still a friend!
The only rooms that are off limits are the garage, due to Sora's animals being kept in their cages inside, and the master bedroom, due to Sora's very angry cat being shut inside. You can try to sneak in, but it might cause a bit of commotion...
II. You Definitely Won't Leave Hungry
In the kitchen, you'll find every available surface covered in platters and plates of food of all varieties, the vast majority of which was made by either Minako, or Mrs. Pu'uwai herself. All of the boys' favorites are here, from traditional Hawaiian and Japanese foods, to pizza and mac and cheese. You shouldn't have trouble finding something you like here! Not to mention the two beautiful cakes centered in the middle of the kitchen table, each addressed in beautiful frosting script and eighteen candles sitting on top, and surrounded by a multitude of other desserts.
It seems as though people have already begun to dig in, paper plates piled high with goodies in many peoples hands. There's also a dog wandering underfoot and quickly snapping up anything dropped to the floor.
III. Bounce-O-Rama!
Set up in the backyard, courtesy of Sorey, there's a bounce house that looks like a multicolored castle that takes up a large amount of the available space. It's filled with ball-pit balls that bounce around with its occupants, with a few strewn about the yard as well. The air is still a bit chilly, but the snow is gone and the sun is out, so it's a great day to be outside. Maybe you should go a round in the bounce house? It looks like an awful lot of fun!
IV. A Quiet Place
In the hallway off the kitchen, there are two small bedrooms at the end with their doors slightly ajar. A quick peek in one will reveal Sora's bedroom, messy and well-loved with posters and photos on every wall. The other door leads to Shiori's seldom-used room, virtually untouched from the time he was about twelve years old. Normally, it would be quite clean in here, but at the moment it seems that someone has built a blanket fort between the bed and the desk, taking up a majority of the floor space. If you need a place to get away from the party, this is it.
Inside the fort are what seems to be all of the pillows in the entire house, as well as several blankets. Sora's laptop, stolen from his bedroom, is sitting in the corner with a movie playing on it. It's actually pretty quiet, at least compared to the rest of the house. You're welcome to chill here for a bit if you need it.

Sora starts the party as an unstoppable ball of sunshine and energy, greeting everyone who walks through the door with a cheerful smile. If he knows you well enough, he might even tackle-hug you. Today's a special day, after all, and he's honestly pleased as punch that so many people have decided to come. He'd really only been expecting a few between him and his brother, but to have this many people here? Even if they only came for the food, it's still a nice surprise.
Make sure you wish him a happy birthday! You'll probably get a hug for that, too.
II. Party???
Even as the party gets going, Sora's still bouncing from place to place, trying to spend a little time with everyone and play every game at once. His high energy from earlier seems to have gone, but there's still a cheerful smile for everyone he speaks with, even if he's eating one of the wonderful dishes or desserts from the kitchen.
You can find him just about anywhere in the house, but he never seems to stop for more than a few minutes at a time. Someone should probably tell him to slow down before he burns himself out.
III. Party...
As the party begins to wind down and people begin to leave, Sora's energy seems to leave with the majority of the guests. Being around so many people was wonderful, and he's thoroughly enjoyed the party, but now he's beginning to crash. Looks like the excitement and sugar rush of earlier have worn off. Now, you can find him sleepily curled up in the blanket fort in Shiori's room, half-asleep and watching whatever movie is playing on the laptop with a small smile still on his lips.
IV. Wildcard!!!
[Hit me up with whatever ideas you've got! I'm down for anything!]

Togusa beams and raises a hand when he spots Sora. "Sora! Happy Birthday!" Daisuke adds a light 'boof' to the greeting.

"Thanks! I'm glad you could make it!"

"I did...bring you something," a mischievous grin as he shows that he is holding a brightly-wrapped package.

At least he won't be trying to wake his brother if Sora does fall asleep-asleep.]

He's loathe to break the silence, but when he finally does, his words are quiet and slightly slurred. It's clear how tired he's made himself, with all that's gone on today.]

[prompto calls out, grinning as he heads on over to the backyard. he's a bit late to the party, but wizards come precisely when they mean to!]
[he's got a bag of something, and it's decorative enough that it's very obviously meant to be a present.]
Have you seen the birthday boy? Been lookin' for him for ages!
[he's teasing in that big bro way that he does]
no subject
[Sora laughs, teasing him back. There were a lot of benefits of being a twin, and jokes like that were one of them.
Still, he moves over to Prompto and gives him a short, excited hug, a grin on his face.]

Got me there.
Happy birthday, kiddo.

Ah! There you are.
[Smiling broadly, she'll wave with a free hand]
Happy birthday, Sora-san!
no subject
[Sora rushes over to his friend, giving her a quick hug before pulling back again and smiling.]
I'm glad you could make it! I hope it wasn't too out of your way.
no subject
[She smiles at the hug and would return it if not for the package in her hands, which she eagerly presents to Sora once she's free]
Here you are! For the birthday boy.
[There's a card on top, which (when Sora opens it), will have a cute doodle of Sora and his dog inside, watercolored to Sakura's best abilities, and a cute scribble of "誕生日おめでとうございます~!" beneath it. As for the present, it's a tin of cookies from her favorite bakery. Listen, if Sakura has a sweet tooth, obviously everyone else must have one, too]

[Sora makes a soft noise as he turns to look up at Minako. He hadn't even noticed her come in, really, but his lips still turn up in a tired smile, and he scoots to the side a bit to make some room. There's always room for family, after all.]

I can't believe you're eighteen! Stop growing! [He offers Sora a gift bag that is blue and red and very, very neat. (His husband put it together.) Inside is a small drone, and a signed card from both Sorey and Mikleo.] Happy birthday! Mikleo couldn't come because he's making up an exam, but he helped me put these together.
Shiori's around too, right? [He lifts the other gift bag, which is yellow and blue instead. Hopefully he likes illustrated hardcover editions of all the Baron of the Bracelets books... wherever he is.]
no subject
No way! I've got, like, half a foot more to grow!
[The boy has to be kidding himself; he's gonna be 5'5" forever. Still, he finally lets Sorey out of the hug when presented with the gift, eager to see what's inside.]
Yup! Last I saw him, he was trying to sneak some desserts.
