[ Kiyoshi has not been too happy with a certain situation lately. See, his ears decided to go weird on him recently, and it’s drawing some attention by people who would pass their gaze over a person’s ears.

The thing is, that there are a lot of people that are rude and curious and that’s not the best combination because he’s been grabbed by the ears without warning on more than one occasion. In the street, at the grocery store, at work.

It never fails to cause him to yelp, startled. ]

Please don’t do thaaat-...!

[ This is what you get for going to have burgers and to beat the Big Bang Burger Challenge or when you go to eat pizza during a school holiday. Because he’s been swarmed by kids and they’re playing A Thousand Questions or something. ]

[Robin stopped when she saw the crowd of kids around someone. She walked in to see them around Kiyoshi. She wondered what they could be curious about when she noticed his ears. Well, that's something new that she'll ask about later, now she should really distract the children.]

Excuse me, everyone? I know you still have a lot of questions, but it's time for us to eat. I want you all to go think of the perfect question for him that you can ask later okay?

[She turns to Kiyoshi as she adjusts her bag.]

We should probably take our food to go.

[ He's not really keeping his ears a secret from Retrospeccers (or anyone, because it's difficult; they're not like most animal people's ears, where they have moved to the top of their head, his has not moved at all) but they are a bother. It's a relief to be rescued, particularly if it works. ]

The perfect question?

[ What's the perfect question? They don't know. He's just done. ]

Aah... I've failed the challenge either way...

[Robin smiles as she gently leads the children outside, reminding them to make sure they come up with the perfect question to ask. She walked back over to Kiyoshi as she looked at his ears again. Well, that's something she didn't expect to see.]

You can attempt the challenge another day. I'm sure next time it will be much easier. I am curious about your new appearance. When did that happen?

[ Kiyoshi slumps forward with a deep sigh of relief, and he follows Robin's path with his gaze. ]

As long as I don't get interrupted it'd go fine... [ He rubs self-consciously at one of his ears. ] Ah, uhm, just the other day... I shouldn't have gone put that ticket in at the post box...

[Unfortunately for Kiyoshi, Ashura is one of those people. Upon seeing those ears, he'll let out a squeal and reach to grab them, his group of bodyguards instantly having to follow because they protect him.]

Oh my gosh, are they real? That's so neat! Where can I get some?

[He hardly seems to be concerned with the request, still brushing his fingers along them as he test the texture.]

Kiyoshi recoils, trying to avoid having his ears grabbed again. ]

They're real and don't just grab them-..!

[ Why are there so many people with body guards around this city recently? ]

Awe... How come, do they hurt? Oh, are they infected?

Do we take you to a person or animal doctor for that?

[ He presses his hands over his ears and shakes his head. ]

No they're- they're fine, but it's just, not pleasant or funny when people just grab them.. It hurts.

Oh, no. I didn't mean to hurt you.

[Ashura prods gently at Kiyoshi's hands, trying to pet the ears more gently.]

Do lots of people try to touch them? If you want, one of my bodyguards can keep people away.

[Some of the bodyguards sideeye Ashura a bit, while others sigh. This is obviously some sort of typical behaviour on Ashura's part.]

[ Hesitantly, Kiyoshi removes his hands. ]

Well.. It's with the amount of people that've done it so it adds up..

So yeah, a lot of people do it but uh-... [ He glance over at the bodyguards uncomfortably. ] that's fine, I'll manage somehow.. Thanks though.

[ Really, it would only leave him far too unsettled to have that sort of company. If it was for the sake of a hook-up bodyguards are one thing but this...no. ]

Awh, they're so cute.

[Ashura reaches to give lighter pets with his fingertips along the edges of the ears. He doesn't seem terribly fazed that Kiyoshi doesn't want bodyguards to help out.]

So, are these a gift from that weird app-thingy? The one with the furries for icons, right? Are you a kitty, too?

[ He thinks they're a bit cute too but they're more of an annoyance. Kiyoshi is still so there is less risk of sudden tugs. ]

It is--but I don't think I'm a kitty. This doesn't really look like kitty ears.
