WHAT: Sakura's friends are invited to a party for her birthday.

[Maybe some arrived earlier, to help get the food ready or set up any decorations. Most of it is ready, though some preparation might be more last minute in that morning once she has opened presents from her family - after dealing with an initial prank from her brother, given the date and all.

She hadn't anticipated anything too huge or fancy. Though that might end up debatable given how Fai tends to spoil her at the best of times. Still, the house should hopefully be big enough. She hopes. Sakura fusses a little with her dress, her hair, before coming to try offer to help with any last minute decorations or anything. Once people do start arriving, everyone is free to mingle and enjoy the food and drinks (non-alcoholic).

Sakura tries to get around to say hi to everyone, sometimes but not always managing to be the one to answer the door. She seems to be enjoying herself, glad of the chance to catch up with everyone in person, even if some might not stay all day. And given the weekend, given the holidays, she isn't so worried on staying up late either. She joins in with mingling, and might be easier to corner and get some one on one time later in the afternoon/evening, once others might have already gone home.

She doesn't have a traditional cake, but a number of cupcakes for everyone instead, with those and the rest of the snacks provided being made by Fai. With Xiaolang's help, and maybe Sakura managing to somewhere in the process of making it all.]

I'll have them all printed out. Get you a photoshoot book done and delivered, so you can look back at today.

[he turns to her with a smile, but stops as if realising he's forgotten something. quite quickly he's looking for something inside his vest pocket, producing a small pouch which he hands over to her. inside? one of those pandora-esque bracelets, wings and stars and crescent moons as charms.]

Here, by the way. Happy birthday, Sakura.

A book? How much would that be?

[Though then she's distracted from that, in assuming a whole book of photos would be expensive, when he procures the pouch and wishes her happy birthday. She opens it and holds it up, admiring it.]

Oh, pretty!

[he ignores the question because there is no way he is making sakura pay for something he intends to be a gift. besides, with how crappy things have been for her and her brother, it's the least he can do, as a friend.]

Isn't it? My brother made the bracelet and charms separately, but I picked out the ones I thought you'd like.

Even if you don't wear it, I hope you can cherish it.

I'll wear it! Definitely!

[She already has the bracelet Fai placed his protection charm on, in keeping her safe. Or at least, more protected than she might be otherwise, but that doesn't mean she couldn't wear this on the other wrist at least some days or afternoons outside of school or such.]

[smiling at that, prompto feels pretty satisfied. he's glad that he could find something for sakura.]

Have you gotten other things for your birthday? [tellhimtellhim]

I have! Noah-san gave me a golem like Tim! Only, mine is pink. And Minako-san gave me a new jewelry box!

[And there's others, mostly placed back in her room on her bed to sort out places for later. But she is excited to tell him of a couple at least. She really does like the golem.]

[prompto's also interested about the golem]

Does it also eat a lot? Tim's insatiable, kinda like Noah is.

[keystaff]

I don't think so? At least. Not that I've noticed so far. But I did only get the golem today.

[They usually make enough food for a feast anyway, between them all. With having Noah and her brother around at the least, so it would probably still work out? Probably. Hopefully. If her own golem seems to devour anything in sight the same way Tim does.]

[mercurio]

You gotta ask Noah what all the features for a golem are. It's prety interesting, I think. Like a pet but not really. Tim can do a bunch of things, too.

[he, too, wishes he had a golem...]

What about Li? He got you anything cool?

Right! Noah-san is definitely one to ask about the golems, since he has Tim and all! At least I know I can ask him if I have questions or something happens. But ah, Xiaolang-kun? I haven't gotten his present yet. But I'm sure he'll give it to me later on!

[Whatever it is. It seems a decent size, given the bag he had with him. On top of the flowers he arrived with and gave to her.]

[here prompto is, wondering when xiaolang will make his move]

He's pretty considerate. I'm sure it'll be a nice one.

What about your brother? [he looks about] Been meaning to pester him.

[keystaff]

I'm sure it will! But ah, he's....somewhere around here. At least, I thought I saw him not that long ago, getting some snacks? I don't think he went back up to his room.

[That was more likely Noah's retreat, to head back to his room after gorging himself on the food. Probably. In Sakura's case, she does have some older friends, ones she met through her brother, so he did know some of the friends she invited, to mingle and chat with them.]

That sounds more like Noah, truth be told.

[he looks around one more time, finally catching sight of him walking out of the kitchen]

Oh, there he is! I'll get pictures of him, too. I'll come find you later so you two can get a few together! How's that sound?

Ah, sure! Just come find me when you're ready!

[She gives him a smile and wave, before letting Prompto head to find her brother, and Sakura then can return to mingling and greeting the others that are in attendance.]
