WHEN: The 20th or so
WHAT: It's time for another meeting of SHSL Retrospec users to discuss memory-related matters, and this time without Kyouko.
WARNINGS: Discussions of death and murder are likely!

[It was about time for another meeting of those who remembered lives of being Super High School Level students. Between the previous month's event, people catching up on their studies after said event and Kyouko Kirigiri losing her Retrospec memories, it had taken time to arrange for this. This time, Byakuya and Kiyotaka act as the hosts in their dorm, with Byakuya having left out a variety of snacks for people to pick on as they talk.]

I've gathered all of my notes of our discussions from the previous meetings, and I suggest others keep notes as well. [There's no telling when someone else will lose their Retrospec memories.] Now... let's discuss some matters, shall we?

[ he smiles a bit as well and nods, thinking back to one of these memories ]

Mm. Actually, I remember one that had you in it. It was really brief, like it was more like I was looking at a snapshot of the memory rather than experiencing it, but we were all out playing in the snow. A few of us were building snowmen and I think you were directing us on where to do it.

[falsepretentious]

Is that so? [There does seem to be a rising interest in his tone.]

It makes sense. Even in my other life, I most likely possessed the most advanced knowledge of snowman structure within our class. It makes sense that you'd rely on my guidance.

[Byakuya pauses for a moment.]

That sounds like the most pleasant memory of my other life that I've heard of yet. [When most others seem to involve him being a jerk...]

[optimistical]

[ he laughs a little ]

I guess you'll always be a leader in any life.

[ even if you were a huge jerk :T ]

Have you regained any memories of your life before the killing games?

[falsepretentious]

A fact that I take pride in.

[He says proudly, though his smile fades slightly as he goes on.]

Beyond knowing the general story of how I proved myself to the Togami family? No, I've yet to recall any specific memories from that time period recently.

[optimistical]

I wonder if there's anything we can do to share our memories or help trigger them.

[ he puts a hand to his chin as he thinks back, pausing for a second ]

Kyouko was once able to make me remember a memory she already had. She pretty much reenacted what happened in the memory and I was able to get that same one. Maybe we should do the same?

[falsepretentious]

Perhaps. It's even possible that just discussing his name with you may trigger some memories.

[He looks on thoughtfully.]

Of course, it's still far from an absolute method. Keep in mind that though I've been talking to you and Kyouko rather regularly, I've yet to regain any memories related to either of you.

[optimistical]

Hmm, then is it really just random?

[ he hasn't tried triggering his own memories so he doesn't really know. maybe he should have experimented more with kyouko when he had the chance ]

If we still had some snow, I would try to recreate the experience with you, but I guess things are never that easy or convenient.

I feel that it is more... variable. Sometimes memories are triggered, and sometimes they are entirely random.

We can still make an attempt sometime when there is snow to be found. [He pauses, with the hint of a smile.] Even if it fails to trigger a memory, the experience may prove enjoyable enough to be worth the effort. [He loves building snowmen.]

Didn't a bunch of new areas open up for us? I think one of them had a bunch of snow so maybe we should head up there and give it a try!

[ take an adventure to magatus. a seven hour trip is definitely worth snowmen and snowball fights ]

Like you said, even if it doesn't really trigger anything, I think it'd be good for us to relax and unwind after everything has happened.

One of them indeed has "a bunch of snow." [He sighs as he presses at his glasses.] That happens to be where I had my adventure the other month.

It has been a fair amount of time since then... I suppose I'll be able to enjoy a return trip.

[optimistical]

Huh? Really? You went there?

[ naegi was a little busy screaming over daisuke going to the place with all the lava so he hasn't really kept up with everything else ]

What was it like?

For starters, it was cold. [He responds dryly.]

There was also a bit of a wolf problem, though our efforts seem to have put an end to it. The sky is quite beautiful, at least. And I believe it will be a more tolerable environment when only staying there for less than a week.

[optimistical]

--wait, a wolf problem?!

[ what the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck ]

When you say that you've put an end to it... do you mean that they relocated somewhere or...?

Well you see, there was quite some trouble with wolves in the area. It turned out that all of these wolves were actually just one wolf with a variety of magical abilities, known as Magnus, who had been corrupted by a dark power. Our group managed to stop its dark power at its source, and now that wolf seems to have returned to his friendly nature.
