WHAT: Persona meeting #4 as hosted by Elizabeth, due to a conversation with Akira

I. TAKE A LOAD OFF
[ The spa is all paid for, as are the treatments, so why not take advantage of it? There's plenty to do, from all kinds of massages, to mud and ash baths, to a sauna, nail and hair salon, etc... Essentially if there's something for comfort, it's here, so don't think too hard about it. ]

II. GET SOME PRACTICE IN
[ Want to train? Well, today's host has a relaxed "no overworking" policy for today, but the spa does have a gym in reserve if you really, really want to do something. Whatever's in a gym is in this one, including a room that seems to usually be used for things like yoga classes or kickboxing or something? It's big, so there's plenty of room, but, like

please don't break anything. ]

III. I GUESS WE SHOULD HAVE SOME ACTUAL DISCUSSION THOUGH
[ For those that get hungry, you're in luck: the meeting proper is being held in the restaurant attached to this particularly fancy spa, at around 6pm. Eat some healthy, refreshing food (though you can technically do this whenever during your stay, this is the Official Dinner Meeting Time) and talk about the following things:

• Newbie introductions
• Team building (share/discuss/get to know each other + trust exercises)
• Memories/Retrospec shenanigans
• Items and abilities from Retrospec
• Privacy issues (Personas are free to be talked about, but other issues may have come up)
• Free discussion/advice corner

Elizabeth's also procured some whiteboards and markers, if illustrating things is easier for you, or if you want add to Yukiko's relationship board (which has made its reappearance once again). Don't worry about being overheard—connections being what they are, this room is fairly private and the waiters only come when called. Elizabeth's made arrangements with her fancy connections. ]

[ One day, Minato's smile will last for longer than a fraction of a second, but this is stamina he's still working on, and it fades in the silence. He'd expected the clear disbelief, so tries not to take it as disappointment or discouragement, instead letting his eyes settle on the bento in Minako's hands and doubting he can lift that entire thing, let alone eat it all. ]

You have a whole room full of people who would love to eat your cooking...

[ And yet she came to him, who looks half asleep on his feet, feels a little sick to his stomach, and had spent the evening picking kiwi slices off the tarts. ]

[And yet he's the only one who she worries may not be eating well. Minako sets the bento on the table and unwraps it from its cloth, unboxing one.

Basically look up hanami bento on Google and a lot of those things are in it, but most especially cute little things like this and this. She took a lot of time with it.]

[ How is this the usual when it looks like it takes hours to do, just to be eaten in less than one. It's one of those clear, undeniable signs of time, effort, love and care that makes Minato hesitate, almost disbelieving, a brief struggle between unease and relief that Minako has people in her life that she would dedicate so much to. ]

Help me eat it? You should enjoy it too.

[Food is undeniably one of her favorite ways to show her affection. It's also one of the most foolproof ways, as well. There's no misunderstandings, no jumbled words. There's just a big bento heaped full of goodies, almost all able to be refrigerated for future snacking, formed into cute animals and shapes as her own personal touch.]

I had the leftovers! But if you don't mind me dropping by for a bit, I can help you nibble on it. I mostly made it so you could eat it over the next few days, though.

[ Minako lives with two other people and a dog, how does she have leftovers? Though maybe there's more to be said with it being just him and Jamie living together and making frequent grocery trips because neither of them eat very well and Jamie's the only one of the two who has enough foresight to make a list of what they need. Food's always been sustenance more than anything to him, so that was never a problem until now. ]

I'm being spoiled... Come have dinner with me and Jamie some time. He's been taking care of me a lot this past week, so I sort of really owe him.

[ Good food might help, even though he's not the one who cooked it. It's a start, maybe. ]

[She physically perks up, alerted to something that might be wrong from his words alone...but her none of my business mantra echoes in her mind again, and she wires her mouth shut against the urge to ask him what happened.

Instead she reaches out and touch his arm briefly, trying to channel all of her reassurance into the single gesture.]

He seems like a good guy, I'm glad he's a good roommate too. I'd love to come eat with you two one night. [A smile!] I just hope you're ready for my big appetite. And my big expectations for dessert!

[ He flinches at the touch, a subconscious reaction that he doesn't even seem to realize he's doing, with his gaze somewhere off into the distance and replying as if nothing's wrong at all. ]

Your bento is dinner, so I have big expectations for what you bring for dessert too.

[ IT'S ALL ON HER.......... ]

[Ah, well. She can't say she didn't expect that. The flinching, not the cooking, but she probably could've guessed that would happen too. She draws her hand back and clasps it with the other, fingers twining and kept to herself again.]

You don't like sweets, though, so maybe some coffee cake for you...do you know what Jaime might like?

[compendiem]

[ Coffee cake is still sort of sweet, but subtle enough with other flavors that he likes it well enough. As for what Jamie might like...? Not... really... ]

I dunno. Both of us used to work in coffee shops, but I don't know if that means he likes it or hates it now. We usually just buy whatever's on sale if we're cooking.

...I'll just ask him what he wants and let you know.

Mmkay. Just pleeease give me at least an hour's advance notice?

It's not like we'll die of starvation the longer you neglect to feed us. [ they might, though, who knows? ]

Come when you feel like it.

No, silly, I need to know so I can time everything right. That way I can bring it when it's at it's most delicious. [A tiny laugh.] But okay, I will.

[ Food at its most delicious is a lost concept of Minato who makes his meals specifically so that they can be divided and frozen and last through the week... ]

Okay. Actually, you should give me that hour's head's up. To make sure I go home.

[She tilts her head.]

Oh, are you planning on staying here a while, then?

We can't have dinner tonight. I wouldn't be able to stay awake through it.

[ He's barely holding it together now; he can feel it in the back of his head, pressure against the back of his eyes. ]

I'm not always home, though. And I don't want you guys to eat without me.
