[Amelia's vision wasn't hawk-sharp, but she could make out the shapes and the colors on the paper. That coloration was correct, as far as her wings went. That dragon's horns weren't golden enough for her liking, though.

...hm, her neck was stiff. Having this many muscles to contend with was still a problem sometimes. Maybe just a stretch--a picturesque curl of the dragon's neck that emphasized her spikes and horns, that she held a bit longer than strictly necessary.]
