WHAT: Various activities, such as encouraging strangers to start impromptu dance performances with her, conducting a literature hunt, and some exploring.

[ I. won't you dance with me? ]

[ It's a nice day for dancing, isn't it?

Well, maybe you won't think so. It's cool and the air is damp with the feeling of oncoming rain, the sky overhead white and gray. But as far as Megumi is concerned, it's perfect. The weather suits her complicated mood.

So if you're passing through the park you'll find her dancing without a care in the world. There's no sound but the wind, but you'd almost think there's music for how fluidly she moves. Though she doesn't just dance ballet. She'll fluidly move into hip hop and get seriously into it, laughing and beaming as she moves. From there she'll move right into interpretive dance, which is just ... weird. Her movements are sharp, and she's openly emotional as she stomps and gestures, tearing her hair band from her ponytail with a sharp flourish.

Oh, did you happen to stop to watch? Not a great move. Show enough interest and Megumi will dance right over to you, smiling as she tugs on your hands. ]

Dance with me!

[ Linger long enough, and it will start, predictably, to rain. A distant rumble of thunder sounds overhead, and Megumi will stop only briefly, gaping at the sky. And then the rain pours down in a sudden ferocious sheet, and she gasps a laugh as water slicks her hair to her face. Delighted, she'll only keep dancing. ]

Doesn't this make you feel alive?

[ II. school's not out, cuz it's not summer ]

[ II.A ]
[ It's a Saturday, and Megumi is at the library. More than one library. That is, one week you may catch her at the library on campus, browsing shelves, looking serious and thoughtful. There's a piece of paper in her hand, and from a glance it looks like the text on it is laid out in a list. Perhaps she's looking for something? ]

Hmm... where should I even start?

[ II.B ]
[ The next week she'll be at the city library instead, her arms full of books. They're all classic literature, from Moby Dick to Frankenstein, The Canterbury Tales to The Grapes of Wrath. She's holding a few too many... she seems to be having a little trouble hanging onto them all as she walks. Unsurprisingly, she drops one, making a noise of dismay when it flops partially open on the floor. ]

Oh no! I hope I haven't bent the pages...

[ ... there's no tables nearby ... should she put the books on the floor so she can grab the fallen one?

Or maybe you'll help her out of this dilemma. ]

[ III. hi ho, hi ho, adventuring we go ]

[ III.A ]
[ Despite her lack of powers and fighting experience, Megumi isn't very shy about exploring outside the city. Quite the opposite of that, in fact. She has to work around her schedule, so her outings are pretty irregular, but all throughout the month you can find her just two of the directions one can leave the city in: east and west. She's always got a backpack with supplies, and a few other items, such as what seems to be a can of mace in a holster on her hip, plus an ... aluminum baseball bat? Sure, why not.

If she spots you she'll light up and wave. ]

Hey! You're not planning to head out there too, are you? I'd really love some company.

[ III.B - CLOSED to respondents from this post ]
[ If you answered her post to come along on one of her expeditions, then you'll find her at the timeand place you agreed to meet. Like her other trips, she's got the backpack and, uh, weapons." But this time she also has an extra bag of snacks! ]

[ So we're sure meeting here with Natalia in ... a hoodie? It's a very, very light hoodie to allow her to survive the more arid and hot conditions and sandy winds of the desert-ish terrain east of the city. She was intending to go to Respatrum and it's not that far once you get in the tunnels even on foot but... uh.

Oh. ]

I was, actually!

Oh, great! [ Megumi smiles brightly, very relieved. ] I've gone alone a few times, but it's kinda stressful, you know? It's always better to have company. I'm Megumi! You can call me Meg.

Meg...?

[ She tilts her head. Huh, what a name. Ah well. She offers her right (biological) hand to shake? She's got her left (prosthetic) one still by her side, holding onto the strap of her backpack a little. That makes her smile a little more ]

Alright, Meg, then let's start heading towards hell!

[ As she saw a lot of people call Respatrum ]

[ The invitation is actually a welcome one, with Elizabeth gripping Megumi's hands back immediately and taking a few fluid steps too—she can roll with any dance though, given her training. ]

I thought you'd never ask... Truthfully, I wished to join you, but didn't want to intrude on any personal practice you may have been having. [ The fact it's going to rain soon doesn't trouble her at all either, so she's ready to go!! ] But first, introductions are in order... Unless you're the type to dance without knowing your partner's name? Scandalous.

[ ......she's a lot i'm sorry ]

Anyone can always join me! It makes me happy to share my love of dance with other people.

[ she'll break away to twirl, laughing as she steps lightly back in to take Eliabeth's hands again. ]

Is it scandalous? Personally, I think it's sort of cool and mysterious...

[ the smile on her face is a little mischievous. she can take you, elizabeth!! ]

[ ooh, someone who can match her. Elizabeth's smile widens and she pulls one of her hands away so she can step forward and twirl Megumi herself. ]

I suppose that it is, isn't it? Reminiscent of two ships passing in the night... [ a soft laugh, and she steps away again ] The best romances are born from that, or so I've heard. I feel as if one simply ends up chasing ghosts if the ship is too pretty to forget about, however.

[Shuji's often found at one library or another, and he was going to check out a collection of poetry - but when he hears the thud of a fallen book, he turns around and picks the book off the floor.]

Here you go. [He holds the novel out to her.] You technically can check out that many books at once, but maybe it'd be easier to limit it to as many books as you can carry.

Oh, thank you! Clumsy me... [ She smiles sheepishly as she bows a little, so Shuji can set the book atop her pile. ]

You're probably right about that, haha... I wasn't going to check all of these out! I was going to stay here and read for a while. I got a little carried away...

[Well. Dance is never, never not going to get Penelope's attention. She'd stopped to watch, amused in her own way at the younger woman's moves. Those are some radically conflicting styles there, kiddo.

When she's caught, called out, and dragged into the open, she doesn't exactly shy away, but she does slip her hand free.]

You want to dance? That's fine. Give me a couple of feet and I'll show you a thing or two.

[ That's fine with Megumi, as long as Penelope is joining her! Visibly excited, she'll hop a few steps back and sweep a cute little bow to indicate that Penelope has the stage. ]

Show me what you've got!

[She asked for it! Penelope launches into a somewhat complicated dance routine, a combination of belly dancing and break dancing. It leaves her just a little breathless at the end, and when she finishes she flashes a quick grin.]

How was that?

[Ishida is often at the library, always studying or researching something. But when he hears his fellow co-captain, he can't help but turn to her with a helpful expression on his face.]

Were you looking for a textbook, Megumi? Perhaps I can help out! [Despite being in the library a lot, his voice still comes off as a bit too loud at times.]

Shh!

[ With a finger pressed to her lips, in mock severity. But, quickly enough, she smiles and lowers her hand. ]

I guess you could say that. Here!

[ She'll show him her list. All the books on it seem to be about the history of literature, in one way or another. ]

Oh, sorry!

[Again, a little too loud... but he'll try to be more quiet now! Ishida will also take that list and look at the books on there before giving a small nod.]

These books relate to the history of literature... I know where that section is. It's not one I go to often, but important nonetheless! Are you writing an essay on this?

[The weather did seem pretty gloomy... and yet here Megumi was, just dancing out in the open! Kurt couldn't help but watch and give occasional bits of applause.]

[But soon, she tugs at his hands and asks him to dance. Now he starts to become a bit nervous.]

F-for real? I dunno if my moves can compare!

[This time, Megumi is a little more lucky—instead of falling half-open onto a page, the book halts mid-drop and then flies into the outstretched hand of a tall, dark-haired man standing nearby. He narrows his eyes marginally for a moment, scrutinizing her and her books before approaching.]
