[ after the first message about korean barbecue, team Responsible Senpai have come together to host anyone with memories of yumenosaki academy for a lunch. the restaurant itself is cozy and cute, and there's a karaoke room in the back. with such a large group, nazuna reserved a table and a room in advance, then sent out the invitation to the chat at large.

nazuna himself is there at least a half an hour early, and is directing people back to a private room, where they have a big table set up around the grill. in his usual, overprepared manner, there's even a clothes rack in the back of the room, where two cute outfits are already hanging.

the karaoke room can be utilized for changing into idol clothes, or for actual karaoke! please eat your weight in meat and let's discuss about idol school hell ★

some prompts for your perusing: ]

A. EAT MEAT.

[ this is just self explanatory: there's a ton of barbecue to be eaten. it seems nazuna bought the first round, too, and drinks (of the non alcoholic variety) are flowing. help yourself! ]

B. CONNECT YOUR MEMORIES.

[ there's a big piece of sticky white paper hanging on the wall of the restauraunt. after nazuna asked a hundred times to make sure it's okay, he's hung it up and written "yumenosaki academy" at the top in bright blue letters. next to it is a cup of colorful markers.

the directions are just to write down anything you might remember about yumenosaki! feel free to do as much or as little as you'd like.

C. OUTFIT SWAP.

[ finally, the request about the outfits was made for a reason. the idea is that you can swap and try on different pieces of each other's outfits to try and trigger a memory! there are lots of things to try on... though some might be a little smaller than others.... ]

D. KARAOKE.

[ well we're idols right. go sing something. ]

[ nazuna definitely suffers from 'eyes bigger than his stomach' syndrome. how can you help it, when the barbecue smells amazing? there's something about cooking it yourself that makes things look even better! and, halfway through his pile of delicious, cooked meat, he's realized that... maybe he bit off a little more than he can chew. ]

Unyaaa... [ a sigh, heavy, as he leans back in his chair. then, abruptly, he changes his mind, reaches over with his chopsticks to pluck a piece of beef off of the grill and put it right on the plate of the person next to him. ] Here, eat, eat! A little extra protein never hurt anyone!~

[ next thing you know he's gonna start wiping sauce off of your face with his thumb... ]

B.

[ nazuna's naturally social, and seems to be pretty open about his own yumenosaki memories. he's set up a big piece of white sticky paper on the wall of the private room, and he's got a pack of markers in his breast pocket. in his cute handwriting, there are a few phrases written: shu itsuki, mika kagehira, "magician/wizard", blonde mullet third year: flirty, "knights killers".

he taps his chin with the marker. ] I think that's everything... anything look familiar to you?

C.

[ okay, everything on this rack is going to probably not be nazuna's size, but that doesn't stop him from trying. you can first find him there staring for a moment, his hands on his hips, as if he's assessing whatever other people brought....

and then, after a bit, you can find him reaching up to grab kuro's giant red akatsuki outfit and starting to at least try and put it on. he's stubborn, and it doesn't have that many parts, but he's drowning in it, the furry collar coming up at least to his nose, his other hand at least trying to get it on.

seriously. the sleeves make him look like a jiangshi. this is ridiculous. ]

[ Mao can tell just by looking that the brown and red outfit is noooot going to fit him and he'd hate to damage somebody else's outfit--especially Nazuna's, who has been nothing but nice--but he's looking at it closely nonetheless. It sticks out a bit among the neons and metallics of the other outfits, after all. ]

Did you remember anything about this one? It seems really subdued for an idol outfit.

[Studying at a BBQ was an interesting pastime but when it comes to the school they all attended new information was good. Ritsu looks over the board and then nods and points.]

[ well, would you look at that - sena eating meat. he's really savoring it too... until he stops mid-chew to pointedly look at someone who's been staring at him chow down for a while now. ]

What? Spit it out, will you? It's rude to watch someone eat like this.

[ right, okay. he's one of the two people who's been on the app the longest, so of course he'd have a lot of keywords to jot down on the paper. but since it'd be redundant to talk about knights already, he'll bring something else to the table.

oh yes, he's going there. ]

I know this is out of nowhere but... Before Keito disappeared from the app, he told me that he may or may not have something to do with the psychological warfare that happened at that school. [ nnnn it's still really tough for him to talk about this but he needs to deal...! ] I don't want to believe him, but if he really is responsible then he may at least have some accomplices at the time. Maybe it had something to do with his Robin Hood stint with Leo that Kasa-kun remembered.

If there's still anything you need cleared up, most particularly about this war thing since some of you may only heard of this just today, let me know.

[ that little memory meeting was so fucking stessful, so maybe sena could chill tf out by trying on some clothes the others had brought. not sure if any of these fit him though so he's just going to stand back and stare if anything catches his interest. it's gonna take a while though, so maybe you should suggest something. he can pull it off, obviously.

if not, well... there's always that phantom thief outfit that he brought for today. it may be the most outlandish outfit in the collection so feel free to point that out. ]

[ Mao was prepared to be a little uncertain of Sena after everything that happened but seeing him at the restaurant, he can't deny that he's relieved that Sena's all right. At least, mostly all right, since this carnivore side of him is one that Mao's rarely seen so something might be up. He's a bit embarrassed to be caught staring but what else was he supposed to do? ]

[ yeah, nazuna was totally staring. it's like watching a dog walk on its hind legs. his own plate's been untouched for the past ten minutes. ]

You just... [ he schools himself into a smile, but it's much more sheepish than planned. ] ... are so enthusiastic, Mizukichin! It's nice ~

[Squinting at the outfit, Ritsu can't help but to be curious about it. Though just who would wear this to perform in? It seemed a little over the top...right? Unless there were more things than this for people to get.

Regardless he grabs it and holds it up looking over it with a chuckle.]

Secchan must have looked fancy in this~ [The tone is more than teasing and Ritsu makes no effort to hide the small jab.]

[ Mao's tied with Sena for tenure on the app but he doesn't want to be redundant if he can help it, so his keywords focus on things he thinks might be limited to his own memories: student council, basketball club: sentai guy and depressed guy, anzu?, and of course trickstar. He sets up a separate heading off to the side, though. and the header on that might surprise people:

I remembered something called an SS. It was a live where students from other schools would compete with each other, and I know Trickstar competed in one, but this is the first time I've remembered anything about other schools. Has anybody else remembered anything about this kind of stuff?

C.

[ As requested, Mao brought the only outfit he's gotten back and hung it up. He's especially curious about certain people's reactions, but in the meantime he's looking through what other people have brought to see if it sparks anything. ]

D.

[ If he's going to be in the musical--and he hasn't gotten any email yet but signs seemed to point that way when he left the audition--then Mao needs to get much more comfortable in front of audiences than he has been, so catch him trying to do just that with music that's a bit more pop-like than his usual fare. He's can't help being familiar with some of this boy band stuff, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't appreciate a hand up there... or feedback, if you really want to be the person who gives someone critique on their karaoke performance. ]

Mmm, I don't know anything about an SS, or any other schools... But I think it makes sense there'd be other performing arts schools like that, right? [ A small head tilt. ] ...I guess it makes sense that Anzu would be familiar to other people too, since she was a "producer," so she must've worked with others aside from Knights and temporary units... But I'm still kind of surprised.

[ ...Was she an oneesama to anyone else too? Hmmm. ]

[ Ah, he's still one of the newest on the app... So he's looking over everyone's keywords carefully, frowning slightly as he adds his own.

Hajime-kun (blue hair, calls Nazuna niichan), Tori Himemiya (pink-hair, noble), Yuzuru Fushimi (dark hair, mole, butler), Starry Night Fest (Christmas Eve), DDD, B1, "Duel"

...even looking at Tori's name makes him scowl though, gosh. ]

He really is such a... [ ...........he's adding "(brat)" next to Tori's name too. ] There. That's certainly notable, right~?

[ OUTFIT SWAP... MAKES HIM NERVOUS... But he's brought his only two (minus the sword for ballet), along with a pair of gloves he got back recently... He's actually wearing those, flexing his fingers as he watches everyone look over costumes. This does seem like a pretty good way to trigger memories, at least...?

...He's also brought something that isn't an outfit, but it came from Retrospec anyway: a very cute blue knitted dinosaur. ]

[ Tsukasa Suzakura's very serious when he says he's not interested in singing karaoke. He's not that good of a singer—to the point where he's probably just getting a dancing part in the school musical, and that's perfectly fine with him!!—but... you know what.

He's here to. Cheer on people who do want to sing. With some maracas. Shake-shake...~ If anyone looks at him like they want him to join, he's just raising his instruments and laughing... ]

I really like watching people sing~? Um, I'm really okay over here... [ HE PROMISES. ]

[ niichan... nazuna's heart is immediately warm. he draws a little heart next to it with his marker, then teasingly leans back to elbow tsukasa in the arm. ]

Kasachin, it's no fair you get memories about me before I do. I wish I had something to trade you... ~

[Quiet as he picks up the ballet outfit he looks to Tsukasa and then back to it. So did the other Tsukasa do ballet too? It wouldn't be too far out there, especially since Ritsu remembers he played piano even. The Knights seemed to have a lot of talents at least.]

[Makoto goes up to read Tsukasa's memories to see if any of the stand out to him. Well, nothing stands out, nothing that can compare to his own memories, but he does have a few questions.]

Is this Tori really a brat?

[ While everyone is eating their weight in food at the moment, Kuro... Kuro is twice of most of the people that are attending this little gathering, and so that means twice as much weight to eat. He's not scarfing it down like he's starving, at least, and has some amazing table manners for someone that looks so intimidating like him.

... but any time someone looks at him while they're all seated, he is 100% eating something. In fact, it almost seems like he doesn't stop eating the entire time they're at the table and within reach of food.

He's also the oldest person here, and while it may be a little odd to anyone else that's in that position, Kuro definitely has ordered a beer or two when Nazuna wasn't looking. ]

Mm? Have you gotten enough to eat..? [ ... but he's also going to dish out more food for you if he notices anyone looking at him funny. Watch out. ]

B.

[ Not having as much to add as everyone else, considering, Kuro only lists a few things. "Barking grey-haired guy - Oogami," "Keito Hasumi," and a few notes about the memories that he has gotten are listed down.

He's carefully assessing everything that everybody's written already, arms crossed, focused and thoughtful, like he's thinking maybe he'll get something from it.

Tell him to move if necessary. ]

C.

[ The reluctance with which he hangs up the outfits that have come in is... impressive.

But there's two in particular, and he's taken to labeling both of their hangers just to maybe help out with the process - Akatsuki and Azure Dragon. No, there isn't a shirt to go with the latter, so hopefully if anyone tries these outfits on they won't try the blue one on without their own shirt...

Kuro, once he gets those hung up for the others to puruse, is investigating the other outfits that've been hung up. He can't try any of them on, personally, but he can look at the craftsmanship and see if anything in particular catches his attention. ]

D/E.

[ Wildcard! ... Kuro is tone deaf as hell, so you will not catch him singing. Enjoy him just sitting back and listening to everyone else that winds up doing it. ]

[ nazuna's looking at kuro a little bit like he's grown a second head, because that is a frankly startling amount of food he's eaten. he's been watching (and he won't scold him for ordering a beer, either!) for a little bit, enough that whatever he says surprises him. ]

Huh? [ ... there's like no meat left on the table. he looks at the grill, despairing. ] ...Oh no...!!

[ THEY ATE IT ALL WHEN HE WASN'T LOOKING... IDOLS... ]

[A gathering of people that went to the school was a good idea in a way...well besides the text group. Still free food was a good incentive. So Ritsu looks at the meat as it cooks, so much of it looks good and he reaches in with chopsticks stealing a piece right from someone. Without saying much he puts it on his plate and then goes in for another piece.]

B.

[At the board Ritsu takes a red marker and starts to write out a couple things for others to see. Some were common knowledge to those that know him but others are newer memories.

"Rei Sakuma", "Band Ensemble", "Tea Club", "Starmine".

It's just a few key words that seemed to strike him that others might know more of. Stepping back he looks at the board with a small yawn before looking to who is nearby.]

I can go into more if needed.

[Though he is really looking at faces to see if any of them change or give off evidence of knowing something.]

C.

[The rack seems to be filling up but it wouldn't hurt to have a few more outfits, right?

Placing a few hangers on the rack, Ritsu puts up what they thing to be for knights and then a new outfit. He had just picked it up the day before. So he hadn't had a chance to look at it fully so no memories yet but as he's hanging the pieces he's curious if it might strike a cord. It looks more traditional than the other outfit he got but still interesting to look at.]

Is that all of it?

[He asks as he reaches into his bag to get another sash.]

[ Mao's immediately drawn to the new outfit Ritsu's brought. He's seen the Knights uniform before on Sena but this is completely different. It's clear it's not standard idol fare but also-- ]

[Makoto has a small pile of meat in front of him that he's been steadily eating. He wants to get some more, but he's still self conscious when it comes to eating alot with this many people around. Yes, he knows that they're not models, so they won't judge how much meat he gets. Still, he cooks his small pile before he slowly adds to it. Once he's comfortable, he'll have some more added to it.]

[Makoto walks over to the white sheet to add his memories to it. He writes 'worked in the broadcasting club with Nazuna-nii', 'performing a big show together with Mao in a unit with two other people', 'met with Sena-san in a practice room', and 'protested against something big'. When he steps back, he checks to make sure that's all he's remembered so far before placing the marker back then reading the other entries. Maybe something will jog more of his memory.]

[Makoto hasn't gotten an outfit from retrospec yet, though he does flips through the ones available. They wear a lot of different outfits, many of them look very nice. The first outfit his tries on Nazuna's yellow outfit, well it's a little small, but he won't mention that. He is eyeing the outfits Mao and Tsukasa has bought though. He'll go try on those next, once he gets Nazuna's jacket off.]

[Makoto can't remember the last time he did karaoke. He remember doing it before he moved to Recolle and he had a lot of fun then, maybe he should try it again now! He does sing around his apartment, especially after he did that live, that was a catchy song! Now he's flipping through music trying to see which one he can try. He's trying to do his best to work on his nerves when it comes to performing in front of an audience. He hopes this will help. Anyone can help him pick a song! He's still hovering over the top 40 pop hits. They're catchy!]

[ hinata is apparently a big eater, but hot food and the like isn't super his thing; he prefers sweets (he thinks). still, he happily engages with the whole food being a thing, and can be caught humming. and offering people stuff off his plate or snagging things off of theirs...i'm sorry. ]
