do. drawing in the city

[ Due to some recent... developments... Tsukasa's been putting a lot more effort into keeping himself busy, and that chiefly involves getting better at drawing people. Landscapes, flora, all of that? He's perfectly great at, albeit his style errs more on a loose, flighty style of watercolor.

But again. Getting better at drawing people. He can be found at a few of the parks doing studies on people, couples, animals, you... all of that. Looking vaguely frustrated and, at one point, just kind of. flopping back in the grass with the world's loudest groan.

Not that his attempts at it at the square are much better, where he ends up laying on the fountain's edge, looking at the water like he's considering rolling into it.

......Yeah, it really isn't going well. ]

re. drawing out of the city

[ "Maybe I'll have better luck somewhere new," he said, and then went to Pesgare one weekend when he wasn't busy.

Except Tsukasa doesn't handle boats well, so on the way he can be found leaning on the railing and looking more than a little miserable. He prefers these to like, airplanes? Definitely? But... boats... Three hours of this is awful, like at least it isn't walking into heat but Respartum had only been like an hour away...!?

When he's there though, he can be found resting his poor stomach on the side of the road for a bit before he starts sketching again. Those with a keen eye will notice, though, that he ends up drawing the sights more than the people... Pesgare is beautiful, and he needs to practice architecture anyway... ♪ Even if he's supposed to be focusing on people.

He can also be found just around, taking in the sights and... in the marketplace, taking in the smells. And the bakeries. And— look, he likes food, shush. Are you reaching for that last chocolat au pain or other tasty treat too? Tsukasa'll back off with an "Ah, sorry," though he'll look a little put-out at not being able to have it himself. ]

I'm not old enough to be one. [ Is that really the issue here. ] Oh, and I went to Respartum—the one kind of under the city?—instead... I had some friends who went here though. Nazuna, Mao, Izumi... Umm, I think Ritsu was there too...

[ ...He's trying to remember who else was on that list, then shakes his head gently. ]

It seemed really nice though, so I wanted to check it out... The temperature's already sort of better than in Recollé, too. [ and. a lot better than hell. ] I'm just kind of regretting the boat part of this. Why can't we teleport or something instead? That's how we got around on break day, wasn't it...

[ Why can't they just teleport...? How weird are their lives that almost seems like a sane question? That makes her giggle, shifting herself on the railing to lean her elbows against it, facing her back to the water. The sundress she has on billows a little in the breeze.

Clearly, she's appreciating the temperature too.

I don't know! I'm not too clear on what happened on break day, other than us people back in the city were probably the ones who allowed it to happen. Unless Mr. Carlisle was buttering me up.

[ Which is possible. But... ] You didn't get teleport-sick?

Mm, no. [ Maybe some people did, but he was too excited to go home and see his friends... ] But, um... You all helped with that, huh?

[ ... ]

Thank you. [ He turns his face a little, just enough to see her again. Smiling shyly, softly. ] Really, just "thank you" doesn't feel like thanks enough... Um, but that's just me being really sentimental, I guess. I felt really refreshed getting to see everyone again...~ Even though I really, really didn't want to leave again. I've been raised to finish what I start though, so...

[ A little wave, and he lays his head back down on his arms. ]

...I couldn't just ditch. Ahhh, but I really, really didn't want to leave either...

[ he mistakenly had a sleepover with his best friend and then never wanted to let go ]

Well, I guess it doesn't matter now. We're all back, and I get to spend as much time with anyone I want as I want...?

[ Oh yeah...? She grins a little wider at that, more of a smirk than anything. ]

You sound so uncertain on all counts there! Did you really to have this much choice?

[ After all, he phrased all of those as questions, pretty much. ]

[ ahaha, well...... ]

...Mr. Zee said it was volunteer, and it's not like I refused to go in the first place... [ so. ] I liked being useful, too.

[ She sighs there... no need to dredge that up too much. She glances off to the side, and she laughs, leaning back over the rail a little (Nat that's dangerous, this is the side of a boat!! ]

I'm glad you were, then! A real hero, volunteering to go out to hell, for you, right?

[ (NAT!!!) ]

Well, if I had known it was going to be that hot, I probably would've asked for a reassignment... [ Siiiigh. ] It's not like I mind the heat—I don't pass out in it like Sena-senpai does?—but I really would've liked something more temperate...~ Pesgare sounded nice. Boat aside. Bosuma sounds nice too, except there are probably bears and other dangerous animals...

Was the city okay while we were gone? Um, the whole... kidnapping thing aside, I guess...

So Magatus is completely out of the question! Too cold?

Ahh, Magatus seems like the kind of place I'd want to take someone I like, that's all... [ it's cold, so you can cuddle up ♪ ] What about you?

Pesgare is what I've decided to go to first, just because it sounded so darling when a friend of mine was talking about it! They were bored, but they're also someone who gets antsy when you can't run around or don't have internet to see what new anime are airing. [ She rocks here... ]

I really liked the idea of and the sights I saw from both Bosuma and Respatrum! I had family in both of them, so I do want to see what they experienced and especially to see the wildlife there. As for Magatus... I think I agree with you, I'd like to go there with someone I like. Though most of the ones I'd pick I don't think would work well for the task...

[ A smirk, and- ]
