I. Kitchen: ota
[The kitchen is the busiest place in the house today. Elliot's busy preparing food for the next part of the mission, while Akira's working on his own projects. You can offer to help out, watch them work, or try to sneak some food for youself. Be careful though, hang around too long and you might be enlisted to work.]

II. Living Room: ota
[Need a place to sit and talk? The living room's got plenty of spots to sit. This might be a good place to catch up with people, shoot the breeze, or compare notes about what your group (or lack of group) has discovered the past few weeks. Just be careful not to sit on a cat. ]

III. Upstairs/Bedroom Area*
* Going into the guest room is fine, but please check with Becks, Hei or Yuff (depending on the room) before having your character go into any private bedrooms.

[Upstairs you'll find the bedroom area. Two of the bedrooms belong to their NPC!roommates (Ryoji and Tuuri) who are currently at school. The third is a guest bedroom that's open if anyone wants to take a nap. Otherwise, there's Elliot's room that's locked unless he goes with you, and the room that Yusuke and Akira share-- where Yusuke's most likely to be found painting the free day away.]

IV. Yard: ota
[The front of the house has a small front porch that's too small to hang around, but good for a breather. Behind the house is a sizable fenced yard with a bird bath, an apple tree, and a small pile of assorted gardening supplies waiting for spring to be used.]

V. Basement: ota
[It's an unfinished basement with the overwhelming smell of cat. Like any basement, there's many boxes full of odds and ends. I have no idea why someone would wander down here, but...you do you?]

VI. Errand Run: ota
[Maybe you've agreed to help get supplies from the stores, or you've been enlisted to help. Either way, grab a friend and head off to pick up much needed supplies for the next part of their journey.]

A. Network
[ About 90 minutes after he got back to the city (where he took a much needed shower and picked up stuff at the corner store), he'll be sending out a text to friends and family. ]

Hey I'm back in town for the day!
I'll be at my house cooking until about 6pm today
Come over if you want any or just want to see me.
I've missed you guys!

B. Kitchen
[Sure enough, through most of the afternoon Elliot can be found cooking away in the kitchen. He's got a fresh set of clothes on, as well as this apron. He's prepping lunches for his close CR, supplies for his own group, as well as any requests people are asking for. He'll pause to talk to anyone who comes to see him, but don't be surprised if you're dragged into helping.]

B. Living Room
[When there's nothing in the kitchen that needs his immediate attention, one of the places he can be spotted is in the living room, ready to compare notes with other groups. Or just to shoot the breeze.]

C. Music/Outside
[Sure, his close friends and family were important to see- but during a cooking break? He's grabbing his normal violin to play music on the front porch. He likes his staff, but man does it feel wonderful to have his baby back in his hands. ]

D. Wildcard
[Got anything else? Come at me. Elliot will be available throughout the afternoon, but after 6pm he'll be leaving the house to be with Eren. He'll be sure to stop by in the morning hours though, if you want to catch him then.]

[ Akira is also donning on an apron! They may have missed Valentine's day, but that doesn't mean he can't make some fresh homemade chocolate on the day after. It's the thought that counts. ]

Would it be too much to make the chocolates cat-shaped?

[ Speaking of cat, Morrigan is constantly following Akira around, rubbing against his ankles and making sure his owner is here. Katkat is also happy about the trio's return. ]

[Definitely the thought that counts. Besides, if anyone faults them for being late despite being out in the middle of nowhere for two weeks, they have weird priorities. Elliot's just happy to be back with his roommates and the cats, even if its just for a day.]

I think cat-shaped would be very you! But do we have cat molds?

[ Akira crouches to open up a cabinet, rummaging through their wares before finding it. Ta-dah. They're cute. ]

The cafe let me have them when they switched to a different design. [ Hmmm. ] But these don't really convey that you really like someone, right?

[ He was planning to make two sets of chocolates, anyway. ]

I'm not even surprised.

[He says that with fondness. He'll even remarks "oh cute!" when Akira pulls them out]

Hmm, maybe draw little hearts on the cats with a toothpick? Though I think Akechi already knows you like him.

[ Until 6 . . . But she has double booked like two dates today on accident and no doubt Elliot has a date too and so...

Before her own plans she's going to swing by Elliot's place basically immediately. Like arriving within ten or so minutes of that text because other people pre-informed her that the others were coming back slightly earlier. So after a polite knock and such she's.

Barging to the living room or kitchen or wherever to get over and breathlessly, ]

He was in the middle of getting set up for cooking when she knocks. He looks up in time to see her barge into the kitchen. Immediately his face lights up and there's a bit smile on his face]

I was preparing to go and see everyone today! Someone else texted me that people would be coming back and I was sure that Zack would just go and sleep and I'm sure Olivia and her fiancee are off doing whatever with Dia and I've got two dates later today [ why???? ] So I had to come quickly and-

Wow that was a lot. it's not in her nature to be a worrying fret-er, but this is a much, much more naked emotion than normal, and honestly she's glad she has her heartstone back in her car parked outside the house so that it doesn't broadcast the anxiety that has been eating her alive all month.

The hug lasts only a moment more before she exhales and takes a step back. Looking him over for obvious injuries. ]

I'm fine. Just glad to be back even if it's just for a day. [And he looks it, actually! No injuries on him. He looks a little tired and he's lost a couple pounds from all the labor he's done the past two weeks- but other than that he's fit as a fiddle]

[ okay, so— the first person eren had to see was elliot to start his 24h break, no exceptions. so it is a very familiar sound when a mud blue bmw pulls up to house mochi and accelerates into the pavement. the snarls of the aggressive motorcycle don’t truly end even once he’s parked, choosing to keep the keys in ignition until he’s heard. he probably doesn’t need to beep. ]

[Elliot hears the rumbling motor outside, and he's been around that bike enough times to know exactly who it is. He drops everything he's doing at that moment and makes a run for the front door. He doesn't bother with a coat, he only remembers at the last second to take off the apron before heading outside.

The moment he steps outside, he sees the sight of Eren there and he breaks into the biggest smile.]

Eren!

[Sure is heading right for him. ]

[ he’s come prepared! shower taken and the light metallic scent of his favorite cologne settling into his own smell isn’t the only thing to heighten his appearance— he slips his helmet off and unstraddles his bike. there’s his face, eyes bright like lights, hair cut short and no longer accompanied by the untamed mountain cactus his jaw line had been, now neatly trimmed (thin) stubble.

he might get it off later, it all depends, but he really did want elliot to see it on him before he did. and decently. with a grin spreading wide he meets him halfway, arms out to catch him and lift him up off his feet in a tight hug around the waist and back, an almost twirl, face to his neck and hair oh goodness did he miss him. of course the first thing he does is breathe right into him. ]

[The facial hair is a notable difference, but besides that? It's the exact same Eren he knew and love. Just seeing him gave him a rush of joy. He moves straight into those arms and lets himself be lift up, laughing as his arms immediately go around Eren's neck as he glomps onto him. His feet lift off the ground, letting Eren support his weight. Luckily he showered too, so his hair smells of that fruit-scented shampoo he always uses]

[ brief as it was, he leaves house mochi and it’s cute cooking company to go see some other people who probably wouldn’t mind the visits, and bringing over some needed ingredients while he’s at it; titan back on fort mccoy (elliot immediately gets sent a video of the meetup and it’s sweet; he wishes he could bring him but it’s dangerous on a motorcycle and too far on foot for only a 24h day), his mother, including the receipes he said he’d get. he’d care a little less about his father but these days he’s been making a genuine effort that has left the man awkwardly perplexed. huh.

if any deliveries or pick ups had to be done, eren didn’t mind it; he’d get to go vroom vroom, he’d still hang around house mochi a good chunk of his day to help where he could after he’s gone shopping and prepared the apartment, and to of course, stick close by, hang with the peeps, see elliot play, see elliot with his friends. the dokis are off the charts, we pray for yusuke. actually, yusuke should be happy as fuq. enjoy, go paint clouds.

but more than ever is eren ecstatic to take him home, to put him on the back of his motorcycle and zoom away after six. once they get to the apartment, it smells good, the kitchen is prepped, and the rest of it is cleaned and romantic just for them. he liked the lights candles provided, more than the flashlights. too much time in the mountains?

[ Today so far has been a very good day for Elliot. Getting to go home (his Recolle home anyway), seeing his friends and family, spending time with Eren here and there, even getting a glimpse at Titan being so happy... Elliot couldn't ask for much more out of a single day. However Natalie's day off was going, she was going to be constantly pinged with warm and fuzzy feelings and thoughts.

By the time six o'clock came, Elliot's all ready to go. He'll have to come back to Mochi House tomorrow morning to pick up his camping gear and do some last minute prep work, but that was for tomorrow to worry about. For now, he just had a single smaller bag with him, where he packed away anything he'd need for the night and a few things for Eren. He's happy to get out of the kitchen and onto the back of Eren's bike, smiling under his helmet the whole way while his arms stayed wrapped around Eren's waist. A couple times, the memories from his other life would come bubbling up, but he was quick to dismiss him. He preferred being here.

When they reach the apartment, it's easiest to notice the smell at first. It smells good, even better knowing that he wasn't the one to cook it. Then he notices how clean the apartment is, and how it's lit. Which...there would've been a time when candles would've made him fret. But between spending two weeks in the woods with campfires and fire users, and how much he trusts Eren to be careful? He's able to avoid the fretting, enjoying the ambiance for what it was.]

Heehee, wow. You went all out!

[ the candles have safety caps, and whatever lights are on are low and just as golden-lit. once his things are swept off to the side, eren’s quick to take elliot into his arms, hands snug against his waist and pulling him up close until they’re nearly nose to nose. he knows, by far, by miles and by spirit where he’d rather be right now. memories might as well be dead to him, only a tool and story to follow to mold himself the exact way he wanted. ]

I mean what I say. [ and he hopes to strengthen that in all aspects even more. there was no way he could hold himself from being so far away from so long, and while he did have consideration for the emotive link he shared, he couldn’t help the kiss he gives, soft and sweet against lips, holding back some for the sake of avoiding the giving of wings, else he’d fly away. he laughs under his breath when he pulls away just enough to keep his head still pressed to elliot and arms encircling him, his heartstone in his pocket and pushing his feelings back and forth like a euphoric, dancing tide. it could be felt— it could be shared an extra step and in this case, he loved it. he loved him. ]

[While Eren's heartstone is giving off his europhic feelings, Elliot's was doing much the same, matching Eren's like a sweet melody. A moment like this is what he's been dreaming of for the past two weeks. His own arms hold onto Eren, wrapping around his waist a he returns that kiss. Even if they have to be considerate for their link partners, he was just so happy to have this moment right here. ]

I know you do. [he says happily as their foreheads touch] Though really, you could've made Easy Mac for me and I'd be won over-- so the extra mile is really appreciated.

[ Sure, he's been invited by Akira to come over, but he also heard that Elliot was partaking in some serious food preparation, so it wouldn't hurt to bring some staple food ingredients to help out.

A) He brings them to the kitchen and knocks on the wall to let someone in here know that he brought something. It's a huge paper bag full of stuff. It's the least he can do to help.

B) After visiting the kitchen, he sits down in the living room, leaning back and staring at the ceiling. It's been tiring for the past two weeks and he looks pretty tired too. But falling asleep as a guest is pretty rude, so he does his best to stay awake.

Oh, it's a cat. Time to distract himself as he makes a hand motion to it. Come here, kitty. Come heeeere. ]

If I make cat noises at it, will it come... [ Muttering under his breath. ]

[Elliot's in the kitchen! He's working on mixing up some baking batch, when he hears someone knocking on the wall. A glance over his shoulder]

[ He waves after putting the big paper bag down on the table. ]

I brought some ingredients. I hope you can use them, since I didn't ask what you needed... [ Oops. ]

How are you? Other than... all this stuff.

Really? Oh, thank you! That's so nice of you!

[He'll set down his whisk to peek into the bag]

I'm fine. Very glad to be back home, even if it's just for a day. How about you? I read that you were in the Respartum group?

[ Morrigan remembers Daisuke and comes over to sniff his hand at least once. The cat doesn't seem against him at all.

Of course Akira notices his guest and greets him from the kitchen. ]

Hey, glad that you can make it. Thanks for the extra produce, too. [ He's sifting the dry ingredients. ] You didn't have to.

[ nya nya Morrigan, long time no see. Daisuke gives Morrigan a light pat on the head. He's glad that Morrigan still remembers him! Or at least... that's what he'd like to believe. He doesn't speak cat. He looks up at where Akira is while sitting on the couch in the living room. ]

It was more of a "just in case" kind of thing, like backups. It would be terrible if you guys ran out of ingredients. [ And helping out feels nice. ] But you seem pretty busy... was it really okay for me to come over?

[ The cat remembers you, strange boy. He does squint because you look awful. Good thing he doesn't speak cat, right? Akira starts folding in the wet ingredients, seems like he's preparing dough. ]

Yeah since some of these are for you.

[ There are some chocolates cooling on a tray in the shape of paws, cats, etc. ]

[ you’ll find eren in and out of the mochi residence, whether it’s to go fetch some supplies you’re needing or race to the supermarket for ingredients. take advantage of the good mood, he doesn’t even frown if you ask. want to help out and go with him? sure thing, just grab a helmet and jump onto the back seat. hope you’re okay with two wheels and speeding.

that said, he can be found helping out in the kitchen with the army sized food being prepped when he actually is there more towards the late afternoon, or just lounging and listening to stories, chatting it up for once. the last time he leaves and returns, it’s to leave house mochi with a rather large bag of individual on-the-go containers of cherry streusel cake and a note from mrs jaeger: Gute Reise! ♥ it’s fresh and delicious looking as he sets them out on the counter. it’s got your names on it. literally. in cute bubbly blue sharpie.
