The mess would be something he would have to clean up. It would be detrimental to the books that he has held in his possession for years. In fact, the books may end up ruined if he dallies too long to clean up the excess beer that would splatter everywhere.

In small ways, you're walking yourself toward happiness. Even if it may be impossible that the ending to what is happening will be a happy one... the journey there will be something, won't it? A difference than what you've lived. I suppose I am hoping that you can report back on such soft joy. It is like I told you... I believe the happiness that you will obtain will be mundane and ordinary to anyone else. The love towards a daughter and the love of a small family.
